My wife and I live in Alberta, and were looking for a specific model of car. We found one at CarGet Automotive. Upon looking at the pictures, we gave them a call and were able to negotiate a price. I told them we would be out to pick it up on a week to 10 days. I then gave them my credit card info so they could take a 1000 dollar “refundable” deposit. The following week, i got a message from the sale person Graham, asking when we would be picking up the car. I told him we were hoping that Friday. Albeit a bit sooner than the timeline i initially told him. He said the car wouldn’t be ready by then as the mechanics still needed to complete the inspection and any maintenance. He then offered to have the car delivered for free, to which we agreed. The following Friday, after he “needed to arrange to pick up a car in Edmonton” in the evening, the car finally arrived. It was not as depicted. There were no headrests in the back seat, there was rust on the rear quarter panel driver’s side, the windshield had a rock chip (usually wouldn’t be a big deal but it is an 800 dollar windshield) a large scratch on the hood, bubbling of the “chrome” at the base of the driver’s door, and a rip in the seam of the diver’s seat. We tried repeatedly to get ahold of Graham, and unable to do so. When we finally did, likely because one of the driver’s called, and i voiced my displeasure and would not accept the car in this condition at the negotiated price. I was basically told “it’s a used car, get over it”. At that point we sent the drivers home with the vehicle they picked up and the one delivered to us.

It has been a couple of weeks and Graham will not return my phone calls. Nor will anyone else at CarGet Automotive speak to me about a refund of my deposit. Hence the quotations around refundable at the beginning of this review.

Oh and the car is back up on the website with the original pictures. Flaws conspicuously absent…

When looking for a vehicle online I came across Carget and was impressed by the quality of vehicles in inventory. Although a trade-in wasnt part of our deal, negotiations went smoothly ensuring a comfortable and positive transaction. Very bad experience. Went to this place cause I was supposed to trust Jordan. They wouldn't stop harassing me to get into this vehicle. Kept offer me cash if I would sign the papers. That I still have not seen. Told me they'd get my payments down to what I need them to be. Just to find out my payments are higher. My vehicle's been in the shop multiple times in one month for the same issue. Their vehicles are not looked at before they sell them. Jordan and his finance team lied about my kms on my vehicle to the bank and to the warranty. I do not recommend this place to anybody only if you want to be stuck in a vehicle That's not gonna last long.

Even though i dont live in Saskatoon and was not able to see the car in person he walked me through the process, answered all of my question (very promptly) always picked up my phone call. Even after the purchase, whenever I call he will pick up my call and answer any question I have.
They had the Car shipped to me on the date as promised. A very professional and very positive team.

Sold my vehicle on consignment with Carget. The process was very easy. Carget gave me a ballpark price they felt they could sell my vehicle for minus their commission. They detailed the vehicle and took the pictures for advertising. The vehicle was sold within 1-2 weeks of being listed on their site. I had final say on this the selling price. I was happy with price, process and especially Peter/Jordan for this professional service. Thanks again.

Buyer Beware! Do not ever purchase a vehicle from CARGET Automotive in Saskatoon. The customer service is worse than the product.

Here’s a background story:

We purchased a used 2016 Ford F 150 from them in April 2022. It presented NO issues online and nothing was brought to our attention. When it was delivered, it was missing hardware. They shipped us hardware, which is great.

Within 30 days, there were motor issues not covered by warranty as the warranty company deemed this issue a PRE EXISTING condition. We had to pay out of pocket for repairs.

Then, October 2022, the motor blew caused by these pre-existing conditions. Carget took ownership of these faults after we sent a demand letter requesting a solution. Carget insisted they take the vehicle, rather than us going to a Regina dealership that we had run diagnostics on for every issue. It took Carget 27 days to get my truck from when I sent the demand letter. Carget insisted they would fix the issues, and we would pay 50% of the remainder (left over from warranty) amount capped at a specific amount. When the motor was replaced, they did NOT keep us informed of the progress AND we ended up with a bill DOUBLE the amount. Chris told us a reasoning for the doubled amount, none of which we approved, and then lied to us about speaking with Jordan. We contacted Jordan directly who told us that Chris never spoke to him about this. The bill was adjusted but this was after many phone calls and deceit. We still had to pay an extra $500 more than what I was quoted. Which I have in writing from a text message from Jordan.

After getting the vehicle back, 3 days later the check engine light came back on and it “had to go back” to Carget so they could warranty the work.

Carget has had the vehicle on and off since October, but consistently since November 2022.
They have tried multiple times to return the vehicle in December after “fixing” the vehicle, but their driver couldn’t complete the drive, as the truck check engine light kept coming back on. There was never a solution to the problem (s).

I get that ordering parts plays a factor, but their logic for “trialling” parts was a bit ridiculous given the timelines we provided. We were adamant about having the vehicle returned to Regina prior to our move to Alberta. We told them multiple times that they would need to bring the vehicle to Alberta if they could not make the deadlines to drop off in Regina; this was never disputed by them, rather it was agreed upon.

Throughout this process we have been dealing with Chris, a service advisor, and the owner, Jordan. Jordan has been refusing and dodging Colton’s calls and Chris has resorted to the same. Both of them have been incredibly deceptive and difficult to communicate. They’ve been unwilling to explain, compromise, or provide an adequate solution to the issues of the vehicle they sold us, knowing it was a dud.

I was informed that Carget would not return the truck as management would not sign off on it. He said they dropped the vehicle off at the obligated destination, first saying my parents were at the obligated destination because that’s where Carget picked up the truck from. When I corrected him on this, Jaren back tracked to say the obligated destination was where the “rental” vehicle was. Overall, our opinion still stands - Carget doesn’t provide quality customer service nor quality product.
We believe this outcome is a response to our filed complaints with the FCAA & BBB.

Carget has screwed our family with a vehicle that we have been paying for since April 2022. Carget refuses to get us into a position that we should have already been in. So, in sum, don’t buy from these guys.

Carget have Range Rover i was looking for. Jordan and entire team makes easy to get satisfied from every prospective. As i bought it out of province they respond very quick related to paperwork and Jordan is very knowledgeable and easy to deal with.
