Cedar Village Cottages

Having grown up in northern Saskatchewan you would have thought I would have been to Waskesiu National park at least once but this was my first time, I must say it felt like I was in Banff but without the mountains, the area, the town, and our accommodations were picturesque, Cedar Village Cottages are very well kept, the grass is perfect, the rooms are very comfortable and although not overly modern, they are what you want and expect for a cabin, and the gas fireplace was a really nice touch especially for our fall visit, the high speed wifi was actually high speed (thank starlink satellites), which for this area is not normally the case, even the Fox that greeted us upon our arrival was beautiful, watching us unload the vehicle from only a few metres away until casually prancing away, overall I give Cedar Village a full five stars and will definitely be back soon! As a side note they are open this winter for the first time in 37 years (if I remember correctly.) so I'm already planning a winter stay!
