A very welcoming place to go to. This is the first place i’ve gone to for a Chiropractor and its safe to say that i wouldn't switch Chiros any time soon. The front desk is always kind and its an overall great place to go to that offers great care to patients

I went into the clinic following a referral to another chiropractor. That office had been busy and I needed to see someone fast as the pain I was feeling had slowly been getting worse. Central Avenue Health Centre was able to get me in the same day for an assessment and have my first adjustment the following day. With this visit being my first ever to a
Chiropractor I was nervous and a little scared. Dr. Pankiw did and initial scan of my back to see where the tension was- I like to think I lit up like a Christmas tree, I was sent for a few more X-rays to see the severity of my subluxation and what type of care would benefit my the most. After only a few adjustments I was already seeing and feeling a difference. We have slowed down my appointments and are now working on corrective care- with scans being every 12 visits to ensure we are still seeing improvements.

When people ask if I recommend CAHC I have no problem saying I would and do.

The staff were all very nice. However I had booked an acupuncture appointment and was not aware that the acupuncture rooms are down two steep flights of stairs until I got there. I was going in to get assistance with pain after knee surgery so could not do stairs. I was told I could reschedule for a quieter time in the day when she could borrow one of the upstairs rooms. I would suggest that new acupuncture patients be told in advance of the stairs! I live out of town and we had driven in for the appointment.

I highly recommend central Avenue Health centre. They are extremely thorough and very good with explaining scans and treatments they recommend. I've had back issues for many years and have tried many different therapies which none have really seemed to help, and it being only a couple weeks in my 12 week chiropractic plan I've already notice a huge difference in my back and neck.

I really appreciate the thoroughness of Dr. P. At the beginning he scanned each vertebrae to assess the areas needing work and compares your progress every 12 treatments to ensure there is improvement. Within 12 treatments and regularly stretching each day, I’ve reached a near perfect scan and I feel great after about 4 years of intense shoulder and neck pain. I’ve been to other chiropractors before but have not had as great of an assessment, explanation of the treatment plans, and pain relief like I’ve experienced from Dr. P. A very good experience here. First time to a Chiropractor and the pain in my lower back from an injury while playing badminton had mostly disappeared in a couple weeks.

Firstly, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, which makes you feel at home. The reception staff are incredibly friendly and cooperative. Dr. Jim is a highly skilled and compassionate person whose expertise in chiropractic care has had a truly positive impact on my back, neck, and shoulders.

Dr. Jim and his staff took the time to conduct a thorough assessment, including a non-invasive back scan with some electrodes and a back x-ray at an outside clinic. They also carefully listened to my concerns and addressed all my questions. I then received a comprehensive explanation with illustrative photos and 3D models that allowed me to understand everything I needed to know and more. The first phase of the recommended treatment plan, which took 4 weeks, not only showed much better voltage values upon the rescan but also enhanced my mobility and stance.

Dr. Jim has been a tremendous help over the last 8 weeks. When I first started I had some severe back pain due to an old slip disc injury. Fast forward 2 months, it has improved significantly thanks to his help.

I came here 1 time to see Dr. Jim Pankiw. He was so rough when assessing me and didn't speak to me at all or tell me what he was doing one time. Basically jostled me around and told me to get x-rays. I looked him up and he has a bunch of grievances in the college of chiropractors against him for drunk driving. Anyway, I got about 100 calls asking me to book back. No thanks.

Rave to Dr. Pankiw and his team. I went to CAHC as my sister who is a current patient recommended them to me as I was having constant back and feet problem. On the first session, they suggested a backscan which is free of cost and I had to do an xray too on top of that. My treatments started on January 2023 and as of today I can say that my well being has improved drastically. Also the orthotics that I purchased from them are really helpful too. Their service and patience is 100% recommendable.

I went to Dr. Pawing for the first time in my life. The headaches and the back lower pain were at a point where waking up was painful every day.
The first they did was taking an X-ray to see where my problem was coming from. From there, I was treated. I was surprised to me that appointments only last 5 to 10 minutes but I have not have a headache since I started my treatment in November.
Reception is nice and always accomodate your needs.

I was kind of skeptical about going to a chiropractor. I attended my first appointment with Dr Papish. Dr Papish and his lovely assistant made sure they walked me through the process of what my body needed and the condition it was in. Malina is a Registered Massage Therapist. She is compassionate and easy going. Malina is also very informative about what my body needs. I was in so much pain in my neck and upper back area from a car accident. The pain in my neck and upper back is reduced significantly from Chiropractic and Massage treatments. I can enjoy my daily activities without any pain. I sleep better and I’m in a better mood. I didn’t realize how much the pain affected my daily life. I would recommend Central Avenue Health Centre for your Chiropractic and Massage needs!
