Champetre County Wild West Resort / Howling Coyote Saloon

My husband and I got married here 2 years ago! People still talk about our wedding at Champetre County and how amazing the location was to spend the weekend! We got the opportunity to come back to celebrate our anniversary this year. We stayed in the bishop cabin and enjoyed a provided picnic basket date. It was wonderful. Clean and tidy cabin with a table, mini fridge, microwave, cups, keruig for morning coffee and more! We explored the maze, fed the pigs, played large jenga and bocce ball, had a fire and saw the northern lights. Francine & family are the best hosts! We love this place.

I only had meals and didn't stay overnight, but there are several outbuildings for overnight stays, so I thought I'd be able to relax there.
The meal consisted of typical chunks of meat.
There was no draft beer available, but there was a wide selection of local canned beers.
There are dogs, cats, horses, sheep, pigs, goats, chickens, etc.on the premises.
At night, if you're lucky, you can see the aurora borealis.

We hosted a family reunion here, facilities, food and staff were all fantastic! So accommodating, friendly and a great space for all your lawn games, socializing in and outdoors. RV spots, cabins, and all other rentals spaces to sleep in where great!
Already booked another event there so obviously I highly recommend this place for all your group events!

This was the perfect venue for our family reunion! From the moment we arrived, the beautiful landscaping and fun country theme impressed us. There were many fun areas on the property to explore, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for any type of gathering!

I guess you could say this place is A-Maze-ING! Pun intended. My sister hosted her wedding here and I cannot say enough great things about this place! Coming from the city, this was a nice change of pace. I cannot wait to go back, that corral maze, wow! Especially fun at night! We had friends and family come in from all over western Canada for this event, and we all had room to stay with comfort and privacy!

If I could give it 10 stars I would! The food was incredible and the hospitality was second to none. Francine take note, we definitely will be back!

I didn't actually stay here.yet. I happened to come across this place while it for a drive. Absolutely wonderful people. Was allowed to explore and "The Sheriff" also took us around as well. This place is fantastic!

My boyfriend and I went out to Champetre for a Sunday afternoon picnic. We were greeted with a friendly smile, shown around, and supplied with a blanket, a picnic basket filled with snacks and a bottle of wine. We were told about some of the different places that would be best for a picnic and off we went. We were also welcomed to stick around afterwards and try out the maze, play games, or visit the animals. We had the most lovely afternoon and highly recommend visiting Champetre.
