What a horrible place to take a child! The dentist didn’t communicate a clear plan with me or my child. She didn’t even talk nicely to my child or explain to him what was happening. Just rushed through a very traumatizing procedure and walked out of the room. Horrible with kids. Don’t go here! Kim is awful!

Not posting my own experience but I’m posting a close relative’s experience: The dentist didn’t choose to use any freezing/numbing on her child (my close relative’s child), and then they used products that gave her CHEMICAL BURNS on the inside and the outside of her lip, which they claimed she had probably but her lip. Very disappointing. Do not recommend.

Children's Dental Clinic asks you if it would be OK to pay a little more than your family dentist before making an appointment. The main focus from the first communication with the clinic and onwards making money from your child who is in pain. Do they really care about choosing the best treatment for your child? ! There are FIVE dentists listed on their website and "somehow" FOUR out of FIVE of them live and work in Winnipeg and not in Regina. The only dentist present in Regina is Dr. Bo who is the money making boss as she owns the building and seems to be as little caring as possible with poor bedside manner. I have hard time believing she really likes working with children. Adults would have hard time with her approachability let alone children. The clinic is not clean. For one dentist to have at least 10 child patients in 1.5 hours is not an ethical treatment. As long as the clinic charges you at least $800, they are OK with everything. No proper discussion of dental plan they create for you. As long as the cost is covered by your insurance and they make their money, does that really matter if they chose the right treatment for your child or not! Never again. Avoid and look for other options. I wish we had gone to Saskatoon instead. Children in Regina deserve much better than this!

After taking my 3 year old elsewhere for a second opinion this place turned out to be the best bet. Grasslands dental botched her tooth for sure. I went back to children’s dental and she had the tooth extracted, a crown on another, and a spacer in. All in less than an hour (with gas). They did amazing and thankfully with lots of preparing my child handled it will. Def will stick with this dental office for future concerns and I should have stuck with them the first time around!

Made an appointment for both of my kids to be at the same time, had to reschedule once and a found out that they didn’t even make the appointment for my one kid, so redid it and when they called 3 weeks later to confirm appointment for both my kids, they once again did not have the information for my one child and no appointment. No record of anything, the one receptionist was super unhelpful. They called me 3 times, and finally I called back and had one reception understand the frustration of giving your child’s information over the phone twice and not having record was a huge red flag for me and we figured it out. Had to go in at 2 different times but definitely disappointed in the one receptionist. First terrible experience there but it said a lot.

Please don’t send your children here. We have now had to redo 2 fillings and a crown with another dentist. All of which they said were not done properly the first time. The horror stories I’ve heard along with our own personal experiences are horrendous. Use caution, keep your children away.

We have always had Dr. Bo who is absolutely AMAZING. The day I brought my 4 year old in to have a tooth pulled it was a female “dentist” who I’ve never seen before. Zero bedside manner and she seemed rushed. My 4 year old was nervous and there was no small talk and no sympathy for her being anxious. The dentist put the gel on and did not wait long enough for the freezing to set in before giving her the needle. My daughter was screaming and crying in pain. They left the room and came back 2 minutes later. The dentist was asking if she could feel this or that while touching different areas of her mouth. My daughter was telling her she could feel everywhere she touched, the dentist ignored her and went ahead and started pulling the tooth anyway. To see my daughter writhing, crying and screaming in pain while the hygienist literally HELD her down was the most traumatizing thing that I have ever experienced. I would ask any parent to be cautious of taking their kids here. Unless it is Dr. Bo then do not go ahead with your appointment. We ended up with some unprofessional, impatient, ill mannered random who has likely scarred my tiny 4 year old for life. Never again.

Walked in on a dentist, and 3 helpers holding my six year old down in a chair with her saying she couldn’t breath with blue lips to proceed with trying to freeze the inside of her mouth. I’d also like to add they didn’t wait more than 5 min to proceed with pulling a tooth (freezing hadn’t set in what so ever)

Son had a dental procedure done here and would 100% recommend, but getting my deposit back has been so painful. Not impressed. & does my son not get a follow up appt? !

Totally they are operating to take your money and do nothing that is needed for the kids. No thorough check up is done here. If you have lots of money go here. Save yourself time and money. Stay away from this place.

I took my toddler here for his first check up. The staff was friendly and focused on making sure my son was comfortable! He had a very positive first experience at the dentist.

Have been going for two years now; and have never once had a bad experience! The staff is so wonderful dealing with children!

I took my son for his first dental visit today and he loved it. This is not how I remember the dentist when I was younger and it was such a positive experience for him. The staff were all friendly and helpful and our dentist was professional but also very geared towards interacting with our child. When we were done we called family to tell them how exciting the dentist was. It was a great experience for our child. It was more expensive than other dental offices however they told us that on the phone and there are signs everywhere so that wasn't a surprise.

AVOID THIS RIP OFF

Referred by our dentist. Charged us for a quick conversation reviewing the X-rays our dentist sent over. When I called our dentist after the visit and told them what they charged her words were oh they must of done X-rays.oh nvm we sent them over.

Do NOT go to this dentist and get ripped off!

They spent 3 minutes on each child looking in their mouths.

Oh and NO they did NOT say that we would be charged or as the lady taking my CC said we told you we charge more then most places when you booked.

Fantastic, caring place with friendly assistants and knowledgeable dental staff. My kids love going there! It's a far cry from the 'school dentists' we had to go to in the 80s - I am thankful for the positive experience my kids get every time there go there. Dental hygiene is so important:)

Expensive, better to choose another dental clinic. I know they will tell you they charge based on Specialist prices guide etc but check it first with their charge and your insurance, almost what great your insurance is you’ll pay around 30% from your pocket.

We were referred here from our regular dentist. At first it seemed fine, but it ended up being a very bad experience here. They changed what they were planning to do on the day of the dental work after waiting quite some time to finally get in. We ended up cancelling the procedure and going elsewhere. The dentist kept telling me that it was the only option, but that was also not the truth. Would not recommend.

Staff were too rough when doing the exam and cleaning. No smile when doing cleaning and just do it directly, which scared my daughter and made her cry. Staff refused to try again after my daughter cried twice. Not nice to kids. The road was under construction but no notice at all regarding how to get to the centre, which made us drive around and around justtry to find the entrance. Very bad experience and not recommend anybody to go.

My daughter had abscess and didn’t sleep well and didn’t eat last 3 days. They didn’t want to pull bad tooth and told me that can do all bad teeth next week. If we want just one we have to go somewhere else. Just sent me to family doctor to sign papers and told me that maybe will make appointment next week if we come back with signed papers. They don’t care about your health. Just need a big money. Fortunately we found a good dentist who pulled bad tooth and my daughter had a good sleep at night and next day she had a tasty lunch with us instead of waiting one or two weeks for next appointment where we had to pay over 3000$. Just don’t remember name of young guy worked there - he was was very polite and tried to help us but angry lady on reception just told us to call number that is on a back of he health card if we need help. We are new in Canada and was very disappointed how bad service can be here! Just money!

First, these 1 star reviews some have posted are just plain wrong. Complaining for the sake of complaining. And for the record the fees are reasonable and fair for the work performed.

Now that I am done with that I will say this place is AMAZING. I've sent my son here many times and he loves it every time. What kid enjoys going to the dentist? Well he does. They had to do an unexpected crown for him and the way they handled it was amazing and my son barely fussed. He is 5 years old.

Well done staff! I'll continue bringing my son here!
