Tried to have my name removed from a line of credit after my marital separation. The balance was at zero. Despite being given a copy of the separation agreement, they (customer service rep named Harsh) refused without first obtaining the consent of my former spouse. He was aware of the circumstances, but did not reach out or contact my former spouse. After two weeks of fighting with this branch, I phoned CiIBC on a general (national?) line. It turns out that removing my name required permission of only one party…. Either me OR my spouse. Did this branch even take the time to read the terms of my line of credit? I dealt primarily with Harsh. My recommendation would be to avoid this branch, and particularly this man when seeking help at a CIBC.

This bank did not honor life insurance policy held by my dad on his house moetgage after he passed away.

Worst branch and bank in history.
Slow, nobody knows anything. Branch manager cant do anything without having to call down east, which takes 45 mins on hold to get through even for the bank manager. I would have better and faster luck hiding my money blindfolded in my back yard.
Cibc is a disgrace!

Was having trouble with my debit card and also the card got retained.met an executive there by the name barkha mehta…she helped me in everything and solved my issue quickly and saved my day…

To be honest I would give this branch of the bank a 0 star if possible.
It's literally impossible to talk to someone over the phone.
I opened an account with an advisor eight or nine months ago and then three or four months later I realized that there were some conditions to be met to get a cash back gift from the bank.
So I talked to the advisor, but he insisted that he always explains the conditions. So I escalated the problem and the client advice manager told me that she had received an email saying that "if the conditions are met in two months from now, we will be able to process your cash back. "
I came back to the branch a month ago and they said that the client advice manager will get back to me in the following week. But I did not get any phone calls or messages from her. I tried to call more than 20 times but nobody would pick up the phone.
And today I got to leave from work and came to talk to the manager or someone and they said she's not available and "she will get back to you" like always.
This is definitely very frustrating and not acceptable.

I was at the eye doctors and my cibc card was declined, how embarrassing. I got over a 1000 in my account.my glasses were only 300 and I was declined. I'm very disappointed. I am on disability.this bank shouldn't do this to people. I'm seriously thinking of switching to a different bank

Worst customer service and cannot help you with anything. Basically bunch of people just sitting and talking s***t. Even next 15 days they don’t have any single appointment. 0/10

CIBC is a bank on 8th St in Saskatoon. You can park in the lot and stand in line inside or stay in your vehicle and hit the Drive Thru on the East side of the building, be careful when using the exit as it can be a bit congested with traffic

My queries was resolved and the teller in the counter Ms Rosa had been extremely supportive.

Customer service at this branch is getting worse day by day. They are hiring people but not training them professionally to treat the customers professionally. Was a happy CIBC customer before. Will recommend. NO.
