CIBC Branch with ATM

Came in trying to get help with redeeming a GIC due to financial issues, haven't redeemed it in two years and advisor was condescending, giving one word answers and gave no help. Practically said that cibc doesn't have to tell clients when terms change and I had to find another way to deal with my struggle. Waste of my time and money probably will take my vastness elsewhere.

Expect to wait in line a good 20 minutes or more as they only had 2 tellers open and the one was being trained. Their were up to 10 people in line and had various other staff come out of their offices who saw the situation and offered no help. I guess coffee is much more important than customer service. A customer then comes in and does not want to wait so cuts the line going directly to the teller who was working by herself and she said nothing to him to correct his action. Shameful. Needless to say the waiting non-entitled customers were seriously not impressed making various comments. The saving grace is that the teller and trainee that helped me were very polite and efficient. They even thanked me for being well organized with my business as they were dealing with this undue added pressure which from past reviews seems to be an ongoing event. Management should take note of these comments as customers are their business.

I was at this branch for business transactions. The business till was closed and the regular till was opened but that regular till was long lined up. I leave my business for short time I can’t wait for half an hour to the bank. It’s disappointing.

I were there yesterday with terrible experience, spend half an hour in queue to get teller. Only two teller there one stuck with her friend other taking customers.more than ten people in the line some people are older age and it's difficult for them stand long. Other staff they walk around you like walking in park. Bank making the money with people money, they have to given the good customer service what they deserve.

0 if I could, terrible experience. Tried calling this branch 20+ times for a simple question about if they carried foreign currency. Had to drive across the city because I could not get ahold of them. They could not tell me if any of their branches could help. I ended up going through RBC because CIBC could not help.
