City Medical Centre - Walk in Clinic

Dr. Meiring is so nice and professional he always takes time and asks questions about how we feel and starts with how may I help you today? Which tells me a lot about his vocation and the service he does for the community. I am usually there taking one of my kids. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They have lots of people at times but even in those busy days they are always nice. Even if the clinic is open at 9, walk-ins start at 10: 30 in the morning

The old white haired receptionist needs further training. Very un-educated about the health system throughout Saskatchewan.

I've never had a bad visit to this clinic since it has opened. Dr Noma is fantastic, and the ladies at the front desk are so helpful. Of course wait times for walk in appointments are higher, but that's to be expected. If you go in expecting to be out in an hour, it isnt going to happen. We are short doctors and only have two walk in clinics in yorkton.

Walk in opened at 1pm after their lunch-break, i showed up at 12: 45pm and got out by 4: 45pm - for a prescription refill. 4h wait time on a monday is unacceptable.

Found my new doctor here.very smart, competent, friendly. As a walk-in, people may want hours that run later than here. Otherwise great. +There's a small pharmacy at front.

Why post walk-In hours if you don’t even have a dr to see people? ! Appointments I understand but half of the time you get turned away and the blond receptionist is so rude. City medical has certainly gone down hill Lose the attitude!

The receptionists have NO customer service skills. 99 out of 100 times they are rude. Don’t go to this clinic. HORRIBLE customer service experience.

The woman in the front desk is so rude, I went there by 10am and the lady in the front desk took my health card, I was there before tHe other people came in, I was so confused why are they not calling my name it’s 1pm already and I’m sick, so my dad ask the other lady if my name is in there and guess what she didn’t put my name on the list so I ended up being the last patient this morning. And they literally told me why didn’t I stood up and ask them, why Am I gonna ask if they already took my health card and ask me to sit down and wait. This is the worst clinic ever. I never get a chance to get her name cause she went for break but that girl has a tattoo on her arm I hope someone took an action for this cause that is SO RUDE.

The receptionist with the frosted Karen hair cut is the reason for the bad review. As someone with anxiety, it was hard to finally see a doctor. The vibes she gave off didn’t help. The attitude she gave us and the other patients was concerning. She yelled at an old lady while I was waiting to see the doctor. Other receptionist was very nice, as well as the doctor.

Doctor Shahat was extremely unprofessional and acted as though he didn't even want to treat me. And at the end of it I wasn't even given a diagnosis or treatment. Avoid this man at all costs.

Dr. Shahat was the worst doctor I've ever had. I went to the clinic to get my sutures removed. He asked me to remove the gauze by myself and when he noticed that I was struggling, then he helped me out. What kind of doctor would do that. This doctor didn't put any gloves on while removing my stitches. Also, his nails were too long. Not sure why he didn't have time to cut his nails. After my sutures were removed, he just put on a bandaid, and it was not even in the right place. When I got home, it was bleeding too much so I removed the bandaid and replaced it with a gauze. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. You should not be a doctor if you treat your clients like that.

Doctors are okay but the women are very rude and unprofessional behind the desk. I really dread having to go inside this place when I have to.

Went on Saturday website said it would open at 1 pm. No one ever showed up. Pharmacists next door said if there is no doctor available no one shows up. Horrible health care! No sign posted.

Just making people aware that this clinic has changed their name so the online appointment request does not work. Best to try and call but the hours listed are not accurate.

They wouldn’t let come in and make an appointment when I was already there. I had to call outside the door and watched the lady as I talked to her. Then had to make another appt with the doctor just to get in. And it’s not a walk in clinic anymore because you have to make an appt.t

I understand that the pandemic has caused some changes. BUT we are not from Yorkton and while camping my son broke his toe. So we go to clinic, call number, and are told to send pictures and that the doctor would call us between 1: 00-4: 30. We did this and waited and waited and waited. They never called back.at all. Ended up going to Emergency Room. So not impressed. Unprofessional. Unacceptable.

Be careful with this place. I've been waiting since March for a referral to an ENT for my sinuses. Finally called the specialists office today to see what is going on, and come to find out that no one from this office even sent in my referral to the specialist. I've been having so much pain for months that could have been fixed had someone sent in my referral.
