Best smash burger I've ever had. Switch the sweet pickles out for dill and get a side of gravy with your fries. Decadent and delicious.

Great selection of beverages. We only had an appetizer but it was very good. The service was great.

You will find something to eat or drink here that you enjoy and that's a personal guarantee.

I need to update my review considering how many good times I have had here. The staff are far better and far further beyond what you would expect for a "beer house".

I've come to know Congress as more of a beer home than a house thanks to the amazing bartenders like Marcel, Chaela, Dom, Paul, Aaron, Demid, Rowan and every single server that has made every visit to congress worth my time and money

I recently had a rather disappointing dining experience at Congress Beer House. While I had heard good things about their food, the poor service left a lasting impression. Firstly, my initial beer arrived at our table warm. I found this surprising, as the name states “Beer House” and proper beverage temperature is a fundamental expectation. I decided to send it back and request a replacement which I waited 10 minutes for and arrived no cooler that the first one. Then we waited a whopping 45 minutes for our Pizza. While the food was decent when it finally arrived, the subpar service and issues with the beer really marred the experience. I believe that a dining experience is about more than just the food, it’s also about the overall ambiance and customer service. Unfortunately, in the regard, CHB fell short during my visit. I hope they can address these issues to provide a better experience for their patrons in the future.

I'd leave a review on the food and drink but I sat for 15 min not even noticed by any staff while new people around me were served. Left without ever being served.

Service was too casual and seems like servers were more interested to keep their hair tidy than punching an order on time. Waited 30 min for a fish and fries. Food quality was bad, fries not properly salted and fish looked dark. At last I can only say they need professional staff on duty.

The perogies and taco apps were large enough to be meals. Canadian IPAs at this place really didn't taste like what I'm used to in the States.

We went to Congress for the first time in a while for dinner and had the worst experience in some time. The service this time was slow and food wasn’t anything special I got the bacon cheese burger and nothing special about it. I normally get burgers when I come here and enjoyed them but not this time. It is also pretty hard to mess up a glass of water to drink with your meal, most restaurants just serve water to everyone with out asking but they managed to do it. It was also very loud and noisy in there the whole time we were there and made it hard to have a conversation with the person across the table from you and as people left you think it would get quiet but it didn’t really and there was still lots of empty tables around. I use to not mind coming here once in a while for dinner but after this may not be back for some time.

Food is good, but small portions and they try to make up for it by filling you with fries. Waitress was rude because i didn't order alcohol.

Flavourful food, good service and a great beer and craft cocktail selection! Definitely a go-to when staying in downtown Sask.

Sat at the bar on an early, quiet Tuesday evening. Awesome bartender, Marcel, gave me a few samples of the bear selection to make a choice as I was not familiar with the options. Great recommendations on the food as well, the wagyu smash burger with extra crispy yam wedges and garlic aioli. Very tasty. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Came here with a buddy yesterday. They make a great cocktail, some rum and fruit thing. Braised pork taco was also excellent. Steak sandwich was sad, however. $27 for a few pieces of beef, pre-cut up, that cooked down from 6oz to 3 or 4. Served on a piece of toaster toast. Crazy how much they profited off it. Theres too many restaurant options in Saskatoon for me to say that was satisfying at all.

Service, atmosphere, food and drinks were all amazing. Will definitely come back if I'm in Saskatoon again!
