Courtyard by Marriott Saskatoon Airport

One thing was said, another thing was delivered. Very clean please. However, not even hot coffee in the lobby.

We stayed here as a hockey team, and the hotel was SO ACCOMMODATING for our kids. The rooms were clean, they prepared a breakfast for us, that is not usually included, and allowed the kids to walk around. The pool is small, but we weren't really here for the swimming. The lobby area is a great place to gather and they let the kids choose a movie to watch on the TV in the lobby. The patio is also great for team bonding, meals and parents to gather later. I would highly recommend staying here again!

Clean and spacious room. Meets the courtyard Marriott standards. Hotel staff are very friendly. Fair nightly rates. Recommended if you're looking for a good hotel near airport.

Incredibly noisy and front desk has complete contempt for business guests. This is the second time this has happened. Best Western and Hampton Inn are far better choices.

Overall the Courtyard is a solid choice; however, this time I was disappointed in my stay. The fridge didn't have a freezer compartment; but that was okay because it froze everything that was placed near the back of it (sarcasm) anyway. Although the room smelled clean, I discovered food from the previous occupants on the rug under the desk (which I realize is minor but still unacceptable). When I crawled into bed I was grossed out because I'm not sure if the bed had actually been remade from the previous occupants as the sheets were either just plain dirty or stained (I suppose I kind of expect stained sheets would be taken out of thr rotation) and the stains were on both the top and bottom sheet. Only realizing upon crawling in and getting settled at 11pm, I quickly realized there was not much that would be done at that stage because the hotel was booked solid, so I juggled and moved my kids to the other queen bed and I slept in the chair for the night.which was extremely uncomfortable. Normally I would have blamed the marks on the sheets on my own kids; however the blankets hadn't been pulled back until I crawled in and we hadn't been in the room since check in as we went to dinner and a movie so they were definitely pre-existing.

Poor service, night manager incompetent and unwilling to help customers. Hotel does not care about its guests. Stay away from this hotel.

Very nice hotel. Big spacious rooms. I loved the walk in shower. Comfy bed.
Big TV.
I enjoy the bar downstairs very helpful and Friendly server, decent selection of beer on tap or local craft beer in cans. I did not eat there but heard from other colleagues that stayed at hotel food was very good.
Starbucks coffee served on site.
Close to airport was fun to watch planes take off or land.
Only downfall is this hotel is away from restaurants, shopping by about 7-10 minutes.
Next time in Saskatoon I will go back.

We’ve stayed here many times because it’s always convenient. Close to the SaskTel Center, close to the airport. But this time, we were getting ready for a concert tonight when we heard our door unlocking and another dude appeared in our doorway with his bags. Embarrassed. “Oh $#! T! Sorry man! ” I was contemplating calling down to the front desk when twenty minutes later, a very nice employee showed up at our door with a pretty sincere apology and a $10 voucher for the bar. $#! T happens! ‍️

Very nice hotel. Rooms were quiet despite being near the airport. The design and layout modern and well appointed. I appreciate the Starbucks downstairs so I don't need to search one as I start out on my day. I will definitely return.

2 pairs of expensive pants was stolen in our luggages while we were out. Came back that the tip left for housekeeping was taken but room wasn’t cleaned. Contacted staff but was indifferent to the concern and didn’t even try to investigate but only offered drinks to make it go away. Something is going on in this location. Might be an operation to steal guesses valuables. They were suppose to check the entry-read on the room to check who access it but didn’t. Lock your luggages. I wouldn’t trust the lockbox either.

Update:

A few days later after the horrible stay, the GM (Tyler N.) of the location called us liars rather than try to understand. Gave a threatening demeanor and calling our claims false. I had to ask him how far they investigated the incident. They didn’t even check cameras, staff statements, check for other possibilities how someone could get into our room. Technology can be hacked or a room key can be copied so any lock-read is not sufficient for an answer and doesn’t explain the missing items or tip money taken. I’m out hundreds of dollars for the stolen items and felt robbed of a pleasant experience that was promised. Will take this further to the FTC and BBB. It’s just not right how I’m treated with Marriott corporate or the GM of this location.

Okay, we actually stayed at best western nextdoor. Although they advertised bar and restaurant, they neglected to mention that it wasn't open on weekends so we stopped by courtyard for supper. They had a very nice bar yhst also served food. And the lobby was great also. Next time we will book here.

Clean quiet hotel, with easy convenient parking. Super friendly and helpful staff that were focused on guest experience. Great location even though we didn’t use the airport. Comfortable well appointed room, great bed. We will definitely stay here anytime we are in the area.

I'm Marriott Platinum member for 9 years, travelling a lot in Canada and US, and I don't remember any Marriott hotel I stayed at, that didn't provide free drinking water, except top water (I don't even speak about tea/coffee). Bring your own filter if you want stay here hydrated, especially without windows (only glassed walls), when to breath at least some "fresh" air you have to keep fan on, which dry out all your room air. Very disappointing.
