Delta Hotels by Marriott Saskatoon Downtown

Celebrated the new year with a “pool party” package. Excellent service, yummy pizza, great space to hold this type of gathering. Loved that it was on the 3rd floor and accessible to the pool. Kids and parents loved the slide as well as the pools. Such a great idea to have the slide end outside of a pool. Everyone had fun and we all talked about doing this again soon!

I found the staff rude and acting like you were intruding.public venue rented to public. Some good hospitality training needed.

This location is a great place to stay if you want to explore the city! There are many great restaurants and pubs around as well as shopping options all within walking distance!

We have stayed in less prestigious hotels and received much better service. All there was hot water. So hot you couldn't wash your hands. Asked for more coffee pods. We were told someone would be by to fix both and neither issue was addressed. Food and beverage staff were dishevelled in appearance and provided the bare minimum for service.

Delta is priced to be a 5 star hotel but it's providing service like a 3 star hotel.

Amazing staff fantastic facility. Business along with pleasure. So much to offer. Also dog friendly:) Have a tequila sunrise or old fashioned.

Rooms were lovely, most of the staff were wonderful, but for the love of sweet baby Jebus get the night manager some more training.

I checked in around 1230a on Friday morning. I "didn't have a room yet" even though they knew I was going to be a late check in (for Thursday night check in). Get that sorted, weekend goes well.

Ask for a print out of my stay, same guy tells me he can't print it because there were no charges to the room.

Will never stay here again! Small rooms, unclean. Noisy A/C. Uncomfortable bed. Coffee in room is barely strong enough to color the water, so you have to go to the lobby and buy a cup for over 3$. 18$ a night for parking. Unsafe area of town with bums everywhere. I filled out a satisfaction survey they sent me and got some phony copy and paste response from them saying that their the greatest hotel and I'm wrong for not agreeing with them. So I'll leave my option on here too. I would advise you to stay somewhere else. I know we will be.

I love this hotel for many reasons.

My only complaint is that the elevators can be overwhelmed easily and if 1 (of 3) is not operating (as happened on my last visit), waits can creep up to 10+ minutes during busy times (checkout, for example).

Mix up at check-in but they gladly offered complimentary dinner in hotel restaurant. Room are very nice.

Service was great and hotel guests were even better. Great place to meet up with friends and family.

I became unwell and couldn’t attend. The receptionist was so kind to cancel my reservation and compliment me on my choice to not infect others.

Went to a conference. We felt so spoiled with the food and snack selection. I was upgraded to a wonderful corner suite. The restaurant had such tasty food and the servers were great. I didn't want to leave.

Great room, prices fair, well managed time slots for swimming pool, clean. In house restaurant good food, friendly staff little pricey.
Overall good stay will visit again

I had the best experience at the Delta Marriott. I was there for a two night stay, but on the first night I had some concerns about the housekeeping in my room, the next day when the general manager, Patty, listened to my concerns she responded so thoroughly and 100% made my stay amazing. She gave me complimentary breakfast from aroma and upgraded me to the river room suite. The suite is absolutely gorgeous and every window has such a beautiful view of the river. It boasts vaulted ceilings, a beautifully furnished living room area, a dining area/ kitchenette, a bedroom with an incredible view and a TV, a 2 piece bathroom for guests and the main bathroom.the bath tub, THE BATH TUB! I would've been happy just sleeping in the bathtub. I will absolutely be back to the Delta Marriott and booking that suite ASAP!
Beyond the amazing views and delicious food from aroma, management and front staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable and I seriously left feeling like a queen. Thank you so much Patty! I can really tell you value each and every guest, and that is something you should be proud of.

I don't actually stay at the Marriott Delta when I'm in saskatoon I have a condominium next door but I used the facilities there is a wonderful water slide hot tub and pool Now that the bar and restaurant in the lobby are open I might spend a little more time going there when I'm in saskatoon. The last time I was at the hotel bar and restaurant was about 4 years ago so I don't know what has changed since then

Always my favourite place to stay in town. Service is top notch and rooms are spotless every time. Lovely river views too.

I recently stayed here, and I have stayed here in the past before it was bought by Delta Marriott, my experiences have always been great. My stay this time around was almost perfect, the bed was comfortable, the pillows were very soft and my room had a great view of the river. My only gripe I had was the heater having a loud click every time it turned on and back off which would disrupt my sleep. If you are a light sleeper like myself, this can be quite irritable.

I would be giving this a 5 star review if it weren't for the loud click from the heater. Please bare in mind, that other rooms may not have this loud click. I brought this up with the front desk staff upon checkout and they were more than happy to rectify the bad experience which made my day!

I see people complaining about the $15 underground parking, but in my opinion, it's a small price to pay versus parking out on the street and risk someone breaking into your car and stealing items from your car, and not to mention having to pay that hefty bill.

4/5 stars, great service, great location, great view, very comfortable bed, the rooms seem to be very sound proof as I did not hear any rooms above and around me. Bad heater; I would definitely stay again but next time I will bring ear plugs.

If you have kids then the pools and waterside are a must if you stay here. The restaurant is good. The hotel is close to the river and trails for nice walks. There is the movie theater close by and the mall. The underground parking is a good feature as it is nice to know your vehicle is safe. I will say I have stayed here about 10 times and it seems as if there is always a minor thing about the rooms that is off. This time it was the bathroom door would not close properly. Its not a deal breaker but since it seems to happen all the time this is the reason for 4 stars.

Clean, newly renovated, good pool, but TV system is dysfunctional and the restaurant doesn't do room service and is ill-equipped for take out.
