Denny's Circle Drive

I ordered for Country Fried Steak that costs me $18.00 and added a buttermilk pancake for $3.59.
However the server ask me what side dishes I want and I ask what are the options. She showed me the list of the side dishes and chose the Tots.

After I ate and paid the bills. It cost me a whooping $29.38.

They did not tell me that the Tots as a side has an additional charge. They did not even let me know.

Denny’s was known for its great waiters/waitresses, friendly atmosphere, and you would never leave hungry. Unfortunately this has changed, the service was anything but good. The food portions were that of a microwave dinner and the price had gone up so much, I felt sick paying $25 for that disappointing of a skillet.

I don’t think I’ll ever allow myself to go back there. I hope other Denny’s have not followed suit. Highly recommend going to McDonald’s instead.

Mark, the one who helped us, went over and beyond to make our experience a pleasant one. We had a wonderful time.

Just sat at Denny’s and waited for someone to come serve my family while watching other tables who came in after us get served. My kids were very hungry and eventually we just left without anyone even taking a drink order. Spoke to the closest server on the way out but she wasn’t helpful, just said we weren’t in her section. Clearly they don’t help each other out. Complete waste of time.

Lionnel was an amazing host very funny and accommodating. Atmosphere here is chill and welcoming. We are from out of town and this is our first choice to stop and have a family meal. Check it out and you will not be disappointed.

We go to denny's often and the food and service is always excellent. Waitress karrington knows our order so we do not have to tell her she is awesome

Food was ok but our server left us saying she was going on break but left us for another section in the restaurant and we were left with another server that seemed incredibly annoyed.

I just recently made an order on Skip The Dishes, and Skyler was the most wonderful person ever in helping me. Skip had been taking HOURS to bring her food and not only did Skylar personally deal with the food's preparation (making sure it was redone to be fresh and hot), but she also made sure it was given to a driver and called us to inform us about what was going on. Best customer service I could've ever asked for, and she is the sweetest girl!

Went there for coffee about 2 hr before close. Waited long time for refills cause waiters just hung out in back majority of the time and had to wait around 15min for them to make a milk shake.

When you go to a Dennys you shouldn't expect to be out of there in a hurry but you can be sure you're going to have a very tasty, well cooked and satisfying meal generally with quite friendly service.

Hostess was so sweet, accidentally asked if we wanted table or chairs I stead of booth.so courteous too. Apologized a few times.
Waitress was courteous and pleasant and kind.we were there for someones birthday and she wished him happy bday minimum 6 times.
Food was phenomenal. Accidentally put strawberries on the waffles when all she wanted was syrup, waitress appologized several times.
Never been disappointed for any visit we have had.

It’s a Denny’s! If you know, you know. A dependable standard that is hard to match or compare to.

Drove all the way to this location because it showed open until 11pm on their website and also on the entrance doors. We got there at about 9: 45pm, the woman at the front seated us, and when the waitress came around we were only then told that they close at 10pm. We would have came earlier had we known, just to not be rushed by the staff.
I honestly didn't have a pleasant experience with the food either. The other person received sour grapes with their order, and getting a coffee refill took forever even though there was only two tables sat in the whole place. I don't generally like to complain, but I feel like my money was poorly spent that night.
They do have QR codes on the table that you can use to view both the menus and the bill for the table, and can also pay online that way as well. I found that to be fairly novel and useful.

The food is good but expensive, the same meals at Denys in the US are half the price here in Canada including the exchange rate.

Denny’s is consistent, good food. Casual atmosphere. Friendly service. I particularly enjoy their mozzarella sticks and birthday cake milkshake. Bonus points for having a Beyond Meat burger option now.

Ordered the French Toast Slam from Uber Eats and Over Easy Eggs after I got home from a late night shift and the food was great. Ordered around 10, came around 20 mins or less and the food was still warm and good. I've also ordered my own grand slam before and it was delicious as well. I'm definitely going to order again.

I recommend knighton for his costumer service. Big thumbs up and I will share my info of this restaurant to all my friends and family. Ask for knighton for great service.and I will definitely come back to eat at this franchise.awesome food

This was my wife and mine’s 4th visit to this Denny’s. We’ve had VERY good service everytime.

This time, we had GREAT service from Kinler. She was brought us drinks and took our order very soon after we sat down despite being busy. She had a very positive and professional demeanour. And she checked in on us 4 times and frequently refilled our coffee as well! When we asked for hot sauce, she actually told us they had 3 options. We were never offered 3 options for hot sauce before and were always just given Frank’s instead.

The kitchen has consistently been phenomenal in terms quality of food. Despite this, today, whatever they did with their cubed potatoes was better than any of the past 3 visits. Potatoes were soft on the inside and lightly crispy on the outside.

Thank you. We hope this location keeps up the quality in service and in food.

The portions were very stingy! Refills slow for how many servers they had on. I know it's a way to save $ during the pandy, but don't do it with hash browns!: (

Feel they have gone downhill big time. The food was mediocre as best and very over priced. We wanted to order meals to go as well for 'lunch' at work later. The waiter forgot.no big. Once the order did go in and we finally got it there were a few things missing (egg from Cobb salad, garlic toast that was paid extra for, the one order was wrong.got a chicken bowl instead of the potroast and missing garlic toast as well.and when I asked about the garlic breads that were missing they made new ones but made sure to tell me we were getting on for free because it wasn't included. It states on the menu it is.
Won't be back.
Was almost 100 for two breakfasts that were hardly edible a salad and chicken bowl.

I've always enjoyed Denny's, service was great and portions ae big, but I was very impressed that they are still keeping up with the cleanliness standards for the pandemic even though SK has opened. Masks are optional and they aren't At full capacity.

I normally love eating at Denny's it's my go to choice but this experience has made it quiet difficult.

The server was super load, and telling other customers about the way that they hire 3 potential candidates for a position and the 2 they don't like. When we got our food he just stood there and waited for us to take a bite. We weren't even halfway through the meal when he brought the recipet. And within 2 minutes later he was seeking payment. Our meals weren't even done.

The food was okay, it is normally is way better then it was today.

Unfortunately though, due to today's experience I won't be returning to this location.

Rhea, our server today was an absolute GEM! My mum makes ridiculous modifications and rhea was so understanding and lovely. Made me feel like we’d been homies forever. Very competent and efficient at her job!

Great service from wait staff every time. Food is always quick and correct. Only grievance is the host/hostesses need some training or guidance in hospitality, generally seem cold and annoyed that they are required to do anything.

Addition of real fruit smoothies was a smart move to compete with the health boom and success of healthier breakfast places like Cora & such. And Moons Over My Hammy still rocks - just be nice to move into the times and offer MoH with Turkey substitute as an option and a few more healthy/veg options on menu as well.

Arrived at 10: 17PM, stood for 10 minutes until a waitress told us that they stopped dinning service. There was still people with menus who haven't even ordered seated at a table, and a group that hasn't even been served. Workers seem very motivated to get out on time, rather than providing quality service.

I love going to Denny’s, the food is amazing. Not to mention all their desserts are gold! But I had gone there to eat a few days ago, and I over heard the manager yelling at the staff, yelling loud. Obviously making them every uncomfortable. I feel so bad for the employees who have to work with someone like that. Will not be returning to this location again, I don’t want to have to sit through and eat while the manager is abusing the staff.

Pros: Thank-you to Cassie and Hedi for incredible serving, truly above and beyond. The food was really great this time even with the restaurant being full/busy.

Cons: inconsistent and non communicative about wait times and the use of waitlist. Waited 45 mins not 15/20 mins as mentioned.

Thìs restaurant was spotless and the staff was courteous and prompt. Typical Denny's fare. The breakfast meat was salty and the eggs were tiny all at a fairly premium price.

There was a miscommunication with our order for breakfast. I called and the boss made it right by delivering the order himself. We are really grateful and that is real customer service at it best.

Usually good. But last visit the waitress would not let me substitute eggs for some toast. I thought that was very unreasonable. But other than that my experiences have been 4 stars.

Fantastic experience it was my birthday treated me very well recommend for sure great service food was fresh took alittle longer but in covid with numbers varying everyday you should expect things to take a little longer.

Had the steak and eggs. The steak was like eating a shoe and toast semi burnt. Service was friendly though. I like Dennys just not this location.

I'm going way down in the alley of time to 2011/2012 to the darkest date night I had ever had. My meal was so disgusting, and so was my then partner's, that she actually wrote an entire lengthy note about why we weren't paying for a single thing and leaving. The shredded hashbrowns I got were somehow dripping wet, (I don't know, you tell me) and her eggs were somehow burnt. Since this experience neither of us had gone back. I rate Denny's and that ex 1 out of 5 stars.

Supper was very good but breakfast toast was so thin you could see through it. Service was great both meals.

Very busy! Wonderful selection of food, breakfast to lunch. Good size portions! Staff very helpful. Bathrooms clean. Wifi.

With no very few people in the restaurant I still took almost 30 minutes for the food to come out. They skimp on the fries so hard. Only got like 6 fries with my meal considering I paid over 15$ for my sandwich and fries.

Got the big D from eating here hamburger was under cooked asked for no onions in hash browns got onions

Got seated right away. Front of house was on the ball, but had to wait 42 minutes after ordering to get food. Absolutely no check ins from the front of house during that time. I had to get up and ask for refills. Whatever

Food was so good, and the staff we interacted with kept up well. A few minor cleanliness things, but well worth the visit.

Service tends to be a little slow. Our food has always been good, but they are often out of products. Restaurant is usually clean

My food was Luke warm at best and they forget part of the order. The washroom is also very cramped in its design. If someone is washing their hands you can't get to the stall and if some is drying their hands you can't get to the urinal. The staff was friendly but not super attentive.

Came here twice over our weekend stay in Saskatoon. First day was not great, food was good but the service was bad. I believe we had a girl named Marie or Maria. Had to send our food back due to it being cold and then the server then passed the blame to us and the what we ordered when we told her. Our second day was much better service wise but the food was mediocre.

Food was okay, but maybe the more than hour wait to be served and get our food left me in a hungry state where I didn't care how the food tastes. Waited 20 minutes just to get menus and we had to ask for them. Was pretty obvious we had a 5 and 6 year old with us and children menus weren't provided, had to ask for those as well. We didn't leave becuase we were staying in the adjacent hotel and our two small children were tired and starving. When the complaint was brought to the managers attention she just sluffed it off. Deffently won't be coming here again.

The reason I gave it a mediocre rating and not worse, was because it's only redeeming point was the burger I had. The waitress seemed disinterested in us, the food took too long to get to our table, and our fries came to us lukewarm.
