Denny's Idylwyld Drive

A very large group of my family and I decided to dine at Denny’s and we are blown away at how amazing the environment is! All thanks to our server Monika who was so personable and made our experience top tier. She managed our crazy group with ease, safe to say she is beyond great at her job! Will definitely be returning:)

Our server, Brooke was fantastic! Knew the menu very well and HSBC good advice. Food was excellent, eggs were perfectly poached soft.

Monika is a great host.prompt service with a smile, knows when you need privacy. Hadn't been to Denny's for a while, nice reminder of their value priced and good quality meals!

Going to this place was so good I personally had the breakfast poutine and it was so good! It had a very rich sauce the cheese was almost melted and the fries I think it was more of a hash brown tho because it was breakfast but overall it was a very amazing experience and me and my family left full and delighted and its very clean there

Jenna was my server she was very outgoing and friendly. Her smile is very contagious and would 100% recommend her as a server!

The gut at store front is amazing, staff inside was super cool. Had an amazing time and really good experience.

Fries were cold, Gravy and soup were cold and had filmed over already. Gravy on poutine had big chunks of film/dried Gravy. When server asked how food was, she didn't even acknowledge our answer, much less apologize.

The food was ok. The service was good. It was very noisy in there today. Dennys has been our go to restaurant for years but with the price of food there I don't think that we will be back for a while.

Easton h, he was so incredible, so patient and order was accurate, coffee was hot, and he was such a pleasure to chat with.
And watching him leave at the end of his shift say good bye to his coworkers, and customers. What a nice way to end my day

Almost always good service. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Food was fast and prompt got the Santa fe skillet portion could have been bigger but was just what I was craving. Server Katana c put up with our wit and banter quite well which can be challenging at times over all great experience!

My wife and I went here for lunch on Sunday afternoon about 1: 30pm. It was very busy, they said about a ten minute wait. About 6 minutes later we were seated and a waitress attended almost immediately. Good service for how busy they were. Server was on the mark for coffee refills and took our order on time. The food was fresh and well presented, served hot. I had a veggie skillet and was satisfied with the taste, I would definitely order it again. The grand slam eggs were ordered over easy and were corrected cooked which is often hard to get at a restaurant. The restaurant was clean, the service was friendly and attentive. I’ll be coming back another time for sure. Price was about what you would expect, not a steal but getting the quality you pay for. We got to watch traffic on circle drive, I suppose that would not appeal to all but it can be entertaining.

Always leave happy whenever i come here! Great food and excellent staff! Have had Easton as my waiter for a few times and he always gives 110 percent! Great friendly guy

I was really thirsty when I went in to eat. Ordered a drink, then waitress comes back to take order, I order and remind her of the drink. I wait and wait and eventually the food shows up and I ask for the drink again. It finally comes and I had to slam it all back and asked for a refill and it never came. Also they brought me a different meal than what I ordered and it was some very spicy skillet which is not close to the lumberjack slam I ordered. Not worried about the food being wrong so much but the lack of a drink. Once done eating I again asked for a drink, she shows up with the bill and I again ask for a drink, it shows up and I drink it and pay bill. Was very thirsty the whole time there. Absolute horrible service or maybe just a really dumb waitress.

I'm not sure if it was due to the crazy Rush that we walked (3) in on but we were very forgotten at our table as we sat down and two tables who were seated after us with several people in big groups were served their meals before we even got our drinks. Unfortunate the food wasn't very good! However our waiter RYLEY was phenomenal and I was sure tip the young man!

I went here a few weeks ago with some friends. It was the first time I had been to a Denny's and let me tell you it did not disappoint! The food was amazing and well priced, and it came reasonably fast despite how busy it was. Our server Skylar was excellent too! Very nice and gave helpful recommendations. Excellent service, excellent food, I can't recommend this place enough!

I came into Denny's for my annual pancake pick me up and while I was there I had a great experience with skylar l, she suggested the cinnamon roll pancakes and they were amazing. 10/10 server 10/10 pancakes

3 times in the last 2 months at this location and this will be the last time I will go to this location. Waited 30 minutes after I placed my order for 1 meal that was basic and the waitress came over to ask if she took my order yet. Maybe she was having a bad night but after 3 bad experiences and 3 different waitresses as far as I can remember in the last 2 months, maybe there is a problem.

Nazhda recommended chicken n the philly steak omelette it was really good glad she recommended it

Ryley was an absolute pleasure to have serving us. He is the one of the best servers I’ve had at any Denny’s location that I’ve been to. I would definitely like to have him serve us again. Thank you so much Ryley for the laughs and putting up with our craziness.

We had a lovely brunch at Dennys. The food was great as always and the service was friendly and pleasant (a tad slow, but they were busy). We even got to enjoy some free pancakes due to a mistake in the kitchen, so that was a fun surprise.

I had a wonderful experience at this location. The food was good and came out on time. My server Ryley did a wonderful job.

I had Ashton as a server today and she made sure that I was well taken care of. The service was very fast I was in and out within 30 mins

Our server Breanna was AMAZING! She took such great care of us. A waiter brought our food out and forgot my fiancés meal. Stuff was missing from mine and our sons meal was missed (we ordered his way before ours) when Breanna (bree) came around to check on us we told her and she literally ran to the back and figured it all out and brought the rest of our food and gave our son some gold fish crackers. She apologized and was so polite! Best service I have ever experienced in a restaurant!

So finally we went to Denny's for breakfast. It was amazing experience. We ordered pancakes, skittles, sandwich, smoothies and it was all so good. The place is next to highway so lot of people coming in when they pass by.

We had to wait for 10 minutes as it was fully packed with people. Our server Marylene was really sweet. Helped us place the order.

The place could have better interiors and can be bit more clean. Nothing major but could be better.

Overall really happy with our visit.

Had a Vegetable omelette last night. It was mostly devoid of flavor. Very bland. No seasoning. Very disappointed for the price paid.

Diskriminate unvaxxed people.truck drivers can't go inside. It's NOT their Job to Check my privacy. Remember, I don't need your food, but you need my money!

I had great experience today at this location. The food was out on time and was delightful.i personally had the banana chocolate pancakes and they looked and tasted perfect.my server Ryley did a fantastic job at bringing everything out on time.

Great service! Teegan was attentive and sharp, he is a keen server and is pleasant and welcoming! Food was the usual Denny’s fix.you know, when you need to eat your feelings, sober up, or up your sodium intake for the day by 800%. Delicious in its own wonderful salted way and this location delivered perfectly. My kids love the confetti pancakes!

The pros service was awesome our waitress was very attentive food was delicious
The cons could’ve had more tartar sauce with the fish and chips could maybe change the menu a smidge for one side instead of two I hate wasting food

The waitress was very nice and helpful, courteous and very pretty.

Skylar was absolutely incredible! She was on top of everything and was super friendly. Pancakes we're probably the best I have had in a very long time

Service was excellent our waitress Sasha was such a sweetheart, the spice skillet my husband loved it, grandson had spaghetti and he loved the meat balls and for me the Big Dipper melt the roast beef melted in your mouth … everything arrived hot at our table.

We had Breanna as a server and she was amazing! From her friendly smile to excellent service she made sure everything we needed was taken care of

I'll start this off with the food, its was good.its not that it tasted bad, but if you are understaffed in the morning it seems to be a cascading affect. I dont want to blame the server or the cooking staff. I would put this on the manager.the poor server was running the entire floor all by herself. So you can imagine that it would take a long time to get anyting. I'm not blaming her.just the manager. If you have the time to go here, please do go, the server was kind and she was efficient for running the whole place, just know she deserves your tip. They need more servers like her. By the time we left the manager and three others show up. BTW the server was not the one with the died red hair or the one with died pink hair.

I had a very good experience recently at this Denny’s. I was greeted by Ryley who was very polite. Our server was Teegan and he did a great job at making us feel welcomed. The food was delicious, try the crêpes!

My friend Ashlie and I went out for dinner for the first time since lockdown. The server, Bri, was a total Rockstar and made our dinner so much greater than just a visit with an old friend! She was super quick, friendly, and made us laugh! Thanks for turning a good night into a great one! Cheers!

Server was clearly new. Took 15 minutes for her to come greet us, then another 10 for our waters to be put on the table. Never came back to ask how the food was.

Ordered online. Got a confirmation email and everything. Was told it would be ready at 833pm. Here we are at 850pm still no food.
It wasn't even made. They won't cancel my order. The c##t waitress wouldn't even acknowledge me for a full 7 minutes. They had zero ideas about any online order.
I just want my f#$king money back.

We took a wedding party to Denny’s… After all flying into sask, and poor Teegan the waiter had to deal with us and our complaints that there was not enough vodka in our orange juice lol. The food was fantastic, no one threw up and all of us are decently sober to leave here appropriately. God bless Teegan.
