Diefenbaker Dr Carwash

I use this car wash regularly. The facility is clean, well maintained and gives me the most time for my money. Last week when I went in the owner was standing on a ladder in one of the bays. When he saw me struggling with the wand as I had a cast on my arm he came over and offered to wash my car for me. He gave me advice on how to get the the most bang for my buck (things like don’t use the foam brush without putting money in as moving the dirt around without soap will scratch the surface of my car) and finished my wash in no time. He explained that I needed to rinse my car with regular water before using the spot free cycle as the spot free water won’t take the soap off. He was polite and respectful, helped me when I needed it and gave me advice for the future.

June 2023 update at bottom of msg. I have to say all the reviews I've read about this carwash dont really favor them.seems to be more about the young guy with the nice vehicles. NOW I havnt experience any negative things at this place.matter of the fact I've been bringing my vehicle here for years to wash, (not no more) at one point they sold dry rags which was nice and handy.unfortunately people forgot how you use the garbage and ended up here and there on the ground. I will not keep using this place to wash my vehicle until I do Experience the negative reviews I read or even hear about.as for me recommending them no I will not recommend this place on a 2 star.update june 2023.water must be expensive as it normally takes 6 to 8 dollars to wash and scrub my SUV now it cost me 14 dollars to do the same as I always do.a toonie gives you a very short window to wash your vehicle I'm talking less a 60 seconds for one toonie.in order to rince my SUV off I had to run literally run.now there's other carwashs that give a timer which this place needs, spiffy and wash world both are a better place for your buck unfortunately I em not going to recommend this place as a good car wash to go to unless you have the money to burn thanks for reading take care out there and spend your money wisely

It’s simple… you pay, you wash, you finish, you leave… anything outside this the owner will tell you. Best place ever for normal people who just want to wash their car and not deal with idiots who have nothing better to do than hang out.
For anyone who just wants to wash their car this is the Best place to go. Owner takes pride in his business and it shows All bays, and equipment are top notch compared to anywhere else. I would not even consider going to another car wash.

Worst experience ever. Owner rudely told not to use cloth on car as its his business and that he will tell how to wash your car. Also compared taking waterbottle to restaurant.

Worst customer service. The guy who is working there he don’t know the way that how to behave with customers.

Another great car wash. It takes toonies only, but you get a decent amount of time. The foam brush I used was perfect. It dispenses soap just on the cusp of not too much. The exit is paved, which is great. Overall great value for the money.highly recommended.

For the past 6 years, I have been washing my car here, but after today, March 28,2023, I will never go there again. Although it's my first time there without my kids, I have never asked for any assistance from the manager or the owner until today. I inserted a $2coin in the machine, I first rinsed the car because it was dirty, then I picked up the brush, and turned the machine to soap and tried to use it only to discover that it wasn't dispensing soap as I applied  the brush on my car, but I continued to use the brush. The attendant approached me and yelled at me to insert a coin and stopped using only the brush  and I explained to him that I already did and ready to insert another coin to assure him that I wasn't by chance playing smart- because his body language was giving that countenance. I asked for his assistance to put me through before inserting another coin because the soap is not dispensing. He yelled at me to follow instructions and walked away. I put another $2coin  and the soap was not dispensing, I called out for his help, but he refused to attend to me, and another $2 coin was wasted. I stayed in front of his office, and I told him to come  and put me through as the soap was not dispensing. He repeated the same answer, "Go and follow instructions. " I pleaded  with him to show me how to use this tool since I am not doing something right. However, he started yelling at me, saying that it's not his fault that I don't understand English and can't follow instructions. Well, I am Black, and I interacted with him in the English language. So, I struggled to comprehend why and how he made such a conclusion. I politely recapped our conversation from the beginning to him and politely told him that it was wrong for him to be racist because of the color of my skin. This guy went inside his office, took his phone out, and started taking pictures of me for some reasons I don't know, I should be the one doing this, I should be making insinuations not him! This is a shame!
This guy needs customer service training. It is totally rude to pick your phone and start taking your customer pictures. I will never recommend this place to any one.

Okay so I’m gonna rant a bit. I stopped at the car wash in Confed by the KFC on Diefenbaker Drive, I was the only one there to start with 4 bays only open. I waited twenty minutes while the guy in the bay used the brush to clean his car. Other cars came and we were all waiting g to use a bay. I saw the kid get out and waited for him to open the door. I got out of my car and asked if he was done. The kid asked if I had a twoonie to finish washing his car.told the owner I had been waiting and he looked at me and said if he is plugging the machine he could spend as much time as he wanted in the bay. I always thought there was a maximum time you could be in there. The way the owner said that while there was 6 other cars waiting to spend our own money to wash our cars was very rude. I will not being giving my business there again. They don’t want to open more bays cause then they would have to clean them. Who takes 20 plus minutes to wash a car.

I don’t know it’s owner or worker, he don’t have manner, just yelled why you didn’t close the back door, so rude, if you don’t wanna run the business, just close your business, silly business.

If I could give 0 stars I would! The owner is extremely rude & does not value his customers. I guess thats why all the other car washes in the area were lined up, and this place wasn’t! Will never give him our business again. Spiffy is the way to go. Best service ever!

I was rather disappointed with the attendant. I just bought my car and took it for a wax and washing. My service dog was tied up to one of the hooks. And I was told to put my dog back in the car so I did. After spending a hour waxing i gave it a spray wax rinse and was waiting for it to dry so i was fiddling with my car camera and it only works with the car running. Sings up to keep doors closed when freezing no signs about your car running so i assume there is adequate ventilation. The attendant banged on my window told me my car was running and so i left with wet wax on my car. Facilities were nice but attendant sucks waxing wasing

Went in to ask if he had salt or something to spread out back as we slid right out of the car wash and dented the front bumper from the build up of ice out back. Witnessed other vehicles sliding as well. I didn't want this to happen to others. He responds "well I don't have salt. You just have to drive out in neutral. " Then walked away from me. If you want to support ignorant people, go here. If you want to support companies with good customer service, go anywhere else.

So the owner come and hunt you if you take more than 3 minutes to waste your vehicle, he is so bad and disrespectful unbelievably even the matt floor he das not want you to wash it there because he say is gana take more than 3 minents to be finished, my advice for you don't go there because you will give business to some one das not deserve it.

Love this car wash, excellent pressure, decent amount of time for $2. I’m able to get an entire SUV done for $10, far cheaper and more thorough than an automatic car wash. For the people complaining about the owner, I’ve never had a run in with him, but stop doing things that upset him. Close the door as soon as you get in, don’t use his bay to towel dry, don’t start hand washing. Get in, do your thing, and get out in a timely manner. Maybe the owner should put up signs clearly stating his car wash rules.

Good location- friendly service, all bays working. Even though busy the wait is not long. Garbage’s emptied regularly.
