DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre Regina

Hasan and the assistant manager at Wild Sage restaurant handle a big crowd of people that fell victim to a delayed flight!
They were both so kind and helpful, even with a packed house.

On 03-January-2024 I had the pleasure of dealing with Maryana Sopkiv. Maryana did a wonderful job in accommodating a very unorthodox situation. She was extremely attentive, patient and understanding. The Double Tree is fortunate to have Maryana working for them and should be very proud. I will definitely return because of the customer service I received and hopefully I can thank Maryana for her wonderful service directly.

We were stuck out of our house, due to asbestos removal, and were luckily able to get a room during Agribition. The rate during this time was obviously ridiculous, but the service was great, checking in and out.

The room was OK. Nothing special. At regular price, I'm sure it would be worth it.

We never got to the pool/slide, but the restaurant was decent. Sever was super friendly.

Great service, friendly staff. Convenient location. Rooms are roomy, clean and comfortable.

We were impressed at how WONDERFUL all your staff were to us (our team) throughout this whole time. Super friendly and went over and above!

The bed is comfortable, the towels are new and clean, bathrobes are provided, compared to the price I paid, I give it 5 stars, although the air conditioner in the room is a bit noisy.
The food in the restaurant in the hotel is good, and there is a buffet breakfast provided.

This run down chain hotel is 2/3 star hotel at best. Lack of cleanliness, dusty, dirty carpets throughout the hotel, including the rooms. We asked for fresh towels after the first night and towels were just placed on a chair (that didn’t seem very clean) dirty towels not removed from from tub. Towels were super cheap and rough on skin. Shampoo caused some hives and itchy skin. Bathroom didn’t have a fan.
The heater/ac only went up to 25c and it was cold thru the night - it also seemed like it needed repair because made annoying, strange noises at random time throughout the night. Super dusty place had allergies the whole time (probably because of the carpets and heater had a fan that couldn’t be turned off)
We were told they had the best brunch in the city and were super disappointed, not worth the $$. Lunch and dinner food was decent. Restaurant staff was nice when serving, except two occasions we got rudely snapped at that they were closed.
Once I was one the phone just looking at the Easter brunch menu and other menu, I was well aware it being closed and the bartender snarled at me that they’re closed. Second time our family went to go ask if we can just sit in the restaurant 10 mins before opening as we saw the bartender allowed a group of 3 in to sit. The lady rudely said no because if she lets us then she’d need to start letting everyone… (keep in mind it was totally dead and the restaurant and hotel were not busy at all during our stay)

It’s not all bad though! The front desk staff were friendly enough. However this hotel is not worth it.

My family were at the Double Tree to have Easter brunch at Wild Sage. It was delicious and the variety of food was just right. Empty steam trays were replenished right away so everything was hot and plentiful. We would go there again.

I've stayed in many hotels over my 65 years of living. I am a Hilton Diamond member. Checking in to this Double Tree was the worst experience ever. I get to the hotel and find no parking. Then I notice the parking garage. The garage was low but my f150 pickup cleared the entry. Then the signs pointed to the Double Tree parking. However the piping in the garage was lower than the entry. Before I could exit the garage I received several thousand dollars of damage on the top of my truck. Not being able to find parking I tried to get the hotel to cancel my reservation and find a different hotel. They wound not guarantee I would not get charged for the cancelation. They would not do anything to deal with the damage their poorly designed garage caused to my truck. I gave them a 1 star because -5 was not an option. I would suggest avoiding this hotel there. Take your business to a hotel that cares about people and isn't a damage trap.

Really clean hotel room and nice staff. I love that they don’t only give the small soap bottle that you can only wash yourself twice with it they have big bottle of shampoo conditioner body wash and even body cream and it does smell good honnestly for hotel product. They even give you a warm cookies when you check in which was nice for an hotel to do.

Well, where to start.the bed is like sleeping on the floor for comfort. The pillows are fine though. The signage to get from the parking garage to the hotel is horrible. When we did get in, the entry way was locked by 8 pm and we had to walk outside to get to the elevator. We noticed another couple had the same issue. Our key cards continued to stop working. We had to go to the front desk 3 times. We did not receive breakfast vouchers. We had a last minute family member join and they more than doubled their room cost saying we had to email someone to see if they would.change it. We blocked off 35 rooms for a group stay. We will NEVER stay here again. We had 2 people stop in the hallway to say hello and was told to be quiet at 730 pm by 2 other guests in rooms near-by. Maybe get some better sound barriers, since a normal talking voice is too loud. We are not a loud group. And by the way, it was 730, not midnight. The whole stay has been less than great. I'd go somewhere else if I ever came to Regina again. Anywhere else.

A hotel who charges you for Parking with low satisfaction customer service is never a good option. Look for something else in Regina.

This hotel is amazing and were great supporting my family for an emergency hospital stay. I recommend them and we will usjng their services whenever in Regina.

Rates continued to vary depending on front desk staff. Parking tickets on vehicle parked in the parkade. Parking ticket while parked out in front of the hotel in what was assumed hotel parking. I do not reccommend this location. Rooms were nice but price was was excessive.

Staying currently at the Hilton Doubtree in Regina. Not sure if this is a Hilton policy but if it is, its still silly - asked for a cookie and was told you only get one at time of checkin - i know its silly writing a review but wanted to give my feedback to hilton. Average room, I was here 4 yrs back and the rooms still look the same. Nice lobby and the restaurant was busy. My initial checkin was ok.

Every time I stay here I have an excellent stay. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and very spacious. The food is fantastic. My only complaint would be that breakfast is done so early and on days where I don't have a meeting or appointment it would be nice to sleep in a little bit and not miss breakfast.

Hotel was fine. Annoyed at Regina hotel underground parking. Won’t fit a normal half ton truck. Toilet seat wouldn’t stay up. Lol. Toilet life was fine. Should be adjusted so one can piss with ease.

Hotel itself is fine, nothing to write home about but decent place to stay.
The front desk staff are nothing short of inept and unempathetic.
We’ve already stayed for four nights, and Booked a second room for our stay for the fifth night as we were in town for a passing relative, and had another family member coming to town. The relative passed within 30 minutes of me booking, and when I went to cancel, I was informed I’d still be charged. I asked if there was anything that could be done, an empathetic exception, which I was informed could not be done. Not happy, but I can accept that.
Returned to the hospital later that night to request that room be kept aside as we were stuck paying for it regardless, to which I was informed that because the room was cancelled, it could not be rebooked, regardless of the fact that I’ve already paid for it. I’d have to pay for another room in order to reserve one for my in-laws, who are coming to town to help with the arrangements. While not happy about the charge, I somewhat understand and accept that, but refusing me to re book the room when I’ve already paid for it, and informing me I’d have to pay for a third is obscenely insensitive when I’m dealing with the passing of a relative.

A really good hotel. Enjoyed my stay last summer while in Regina for a week.

The room was quite spacious. Had good sleep in the comfortable bed. The view was great from the balcony.

The hotel has a big lobby. There a 24 hour kiosk in the lobby.

The restaurant has good menu. The service was good and friendly.
