Earls Kitchen + Bar

Many thanks to Shea our Server, we had a group last night of 12 for a Birthday Party and she was fantastic, good food, good service and great atmosphere. Thanks Again.

The vibe here was relaxed and fun. We were able to get a ravle fairly quickly even though they have no reservations. You can check in online which I think helps speed up the process so would highly recommend doing so. The server was really good and stayed on top of everyones drinks, all while being courteous and friendly. The food was amazing. It tasted great and was exactly as described. Prices were reasonable.

Had a dinner date with my wife the other day. She decided on the chicken tortellini and I went with the steak frittes. Both were great and the steak frittes was a happy hour special. The service was also great, we will be back for sure

No tip Saturday
Food today was good as it typical here. Service on the other hand was poor. It did not seem overly busy on the patio but server was inattentive. I was done my meal, water and drink. Wife was just about done her drink. He picked up my plate, never offered either of us another drink or refilled water. Restaraunt pays servers to take orders and bring food to the table. Patrons come to the restaraunt for good food and will tip for good service. Its all part of the dining out experience. Maybe this waiter felt he had made enough $$ today or maybe he feels he is just entitled to a tip. Nope. Tips are earned with an effort to serve. You can't even fill my water? I work hard for my money and will not tip a server who doesn't make an effort to serve.
Bottom line, food is good, service was poor. Why did I go out, I can have good food at home.

Went for a work function with 8 people and had a wonderful time. Staff were attentive, friendly, and extremely polite.

The appetizers came out promptly and when we ran out of bread for the spinach dip our server was quick to bring in more.
The main courses were cooked perfectly and came out with perfect timing.

We also got to enjoy a live performance from a saxophonist that was incredible, not too loud and added to the ambience.

Overly fantastic service and can not wait to go again!

The service at Lunch was very courteous, fast and friendly. We were asked for our vaccine passports upon arrival and were seated immediately after. Asked if we required physical menus or if we would be using our phones to browse the menu, which I appreciated as my older father was with us and prefers a physical menu to look at. The atmosphere was well lit and the music not to loud. It was quite busy but never did we feel we were without service. The food was hot and tasted great. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Great steak, can't speak to the rest of the menu, steaks that good. But my friend tell me the other options are also very good. Ask to sit in the old bar, it's nice in there

Don't order Earl's through Skip The Dishes. If there is a problem with your order the restaurant won't take responsibility to make it right. I paid 21.50 for 2 desserts before taxes that were not the ones I ordered. I called the restaurant and the manager on duty, Jordan, told us to take it up with Skip The Dishes.

Was out with a few girls from work last Wednesday trying to enjoy the beautiful fall. We can be a loud bunch and on occasion feel for our server. On this particular occasion we had Ben. What a delight! He was very attentive, and great accent! You tolerated us well Ben! Well done!

I tried garlic prawn spaghetti which was super delicious, definitely will try again.

The meal at earls tonight was disappointing.the steak was tough and cold and the mashed potatoes were cold and I didn't receive my seasonal vegetables.

Ordered bigger better burger, comes with no bun and whatever else came in box looked like they put it down their pants and hucked it into box oh also extra sauce. TO PUT IT ON WHAT!

I'm pre sure alot of the food came out of boxes, or something like that. For such an expensive place I expected my burger to be amazing like I understand this is a steak place but come on like if it's this expensive and high end why don't you have home made burgers. But the service was amazing and that was a saving grace

My wife and I had a good time where with our 3 year old. The place is kids friendly and you can also come out for drinks in a very vibrant environment.

We had a great time at Earl's. Our server was amazing, the food was awesome and it was a lovely evening. I was thrilled that there were delicious vegan options on the menu. Highly recommend

Great food. Best spinach artichoke dip around! It appeared our waitress was having an off day, though. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a happier one.

Quality and service experience has definitely fallen over the years. Last night the food was okay, but our server did not once come back to refresh drinks, ask how our meal was, did not offer dessert, just all the sudden showed up with the bill when we were finished eating. We ordered appetizers which showed up cold and at the same time as our main courses. I did not want to complain as it was a special event (as noted on the reservation booking - why ask the event if you're not going to recognize it?).

For as known and well established as Earls is, this should not be their current standard. Last night appeared fully staffed and not all tables were full, no excuse for subpar service and cold food. Very disappointing. I'm not one to write negative reviews, however, this was my first time returning since February after an even worse dining experience. I was hoping last night would turn my opinion around and they have not.

Earls is one of those place that use to have an interesting energy and crowd. Back in the days it was the place to see and be seen and get decent/hight price food. Now it's over priced and there's nothing really that interesting about the place. The food hasn't changed much and I couldn't belive the price of sweet potato fries $10? An appetizer now costs pretty much the same as a meal. Why? Anyways it was refreshing to see new young servers who are not over sexualized but simply professional. I really liked the service we received.

I was able to enjoy a meal out on the patio. Everything was spaced out and there was a QR code to scan that directs you to their menu. The waitress was very friendly and checked up on us a few times. We did have to ask for more water since we didn't originally have a pitcher at the table but it happens, the patio was quite busy when we went. We were able to sit under more of the vines so we weren't in the sun too much so no one in the group got burnt. The group I was with had the chicken clubhouse, the Cajun chicken sandwich, the starter tacos and the spinach dip. All of the food was delicious and well-prepared. I would happily go back to enjoy that meal again.

My wife and I went to Earl's for our anniversary. I'd never been there before. The experience was great! The food was delicious! Our server's name was Ben. He did an awesome job!

Great accommodating staff and were able to work with my food allergies. The friend I was with enjoyed the spinich cheese dip which I could not eat but was not happy about her steak frite as came rare not medium as ordered but they redid it. My meal was good and drinks as well though I wouldn't order the Indian Pale Ale but may try the lager next time.

One of the most known saskatoon establishments, Earls deliver services with good quality and class. Their food is fresh, drinks are plenty, and the service is fast (with their servers being drop dead gorgeous too). However, I wish there were more food options- more unique food options to be exact as the menu isn't very inventive.plan the visit ahead of time and book a table as the place could get busy at nights and weekends

Was at this location for drinks when the hostess started making out with a customer in the middle of the lounge.not sure why that happened? Will not be dining here again.

Maybe it was just COVID, but it was just okay tonight. Sat in a weird spot and didn't feel like a priority for our server. Probably try again in a few months once some restrictions are relaxed.

Not a big fan of the Margherita pizza though. Mostly cheese not much tomato sauce.

We have been patrons here for many years now. The staff are excellent and the kitchen is consistently good.

They do NOT list all of the main ingredients in the food on their menu. I ordered a Caesar Salad and it had anchovies in it, but the anchovies were NOT listed on their menu. If you have allergies to any foods I would beware, or take the time to tell the waitress everything you are allergic to so they have some form of accountability.
Also, the waitress was too concerned with other things happening in the restaurant to check on our table. So I never had the opportunity to order something else and left the restaurant still hungry.
All in all it was a pretty terrible experience and I won't be going back.

Great food, amazing steaks, amazing atmosphere, amazing staff. A bit on the pricier side but it's well worth it. The spinach dip is top notch.

Wow has this place ever went down hill! Had a disgraceful server today, “SANJANA”. I honestly think she just got out of bed and had no idea where she was. No manner, slow, sleepy, no idea what the specials were, walking into walls, etc. Manager standing behind the bar texting and staring at the empty water cup in front of him.
No wonder this place is always laughed at by out of towners. Close it down please.

The whole dining experience was terrible. I entered through the main entrance and asked the hostess for seating for 3. She said it would be a 15 minute wait. I asked if there was someplace we could sit and wait, to which we were told that we would have e to wait in our vehicle. I walked away and overheard the same hostess asking the next group of people for their names and a cell number, and the same for the next group of people. I returned to the podium and asked why hadn't she asked for my name and cell number to which she stated "I didn't know that you wanted to stay. " I responded with I asked if we could sit and wait, is that not an indication of intent to stay? She then entered me in the computer and I took my disabled mother a block back to our vehicle. I receive a text that our table is ready. We return to the dining room and we were taken all the way around to tables we could have made 4 steps to get to through a glass door. The same glass door that allowed us to see that those tables had been unoccupied the entire time we were there. Each table only allowed for 2 guests. I asked the hostess if we could move things around so we could all sit together and so that I could get away from the draft off the window. She allowed me to swing my bench in front of the other table. We order our food. When the food arrives I inform the server that it is very cold where we are seated and ask if there is anything she can do. She tells me just hang on then doesn't return. Our orders arrive and we begin eating, jackets still on. The food was mediocre at best. The Cajun chicken was sprinkled with Cajun seasoning rather than marinated and the garlic mashed potatoes were from a box. My guests had fish and chips and BBQ ribs. They both stated the food was ok. The portions were small. The positive, our plates were warm and we were able to warm our hands on them. Once again I told the server we were cold and she said again she'll see what she can do. We left very disappointed. As we sat at the table we witnessed other guests being permitted to wait in the lobby area? The service was poor, the environment was poor the food was just ok and our first dining experience at Earls will be our last dining experience at Earls.

Food a bit salty but otherwise good. The restaurant is starting to show it's age. Staff were pleasant and the service good.

I had the chicken tacos and they were so delicious! Each bite made me want more. The fries were also perfectly crisp and tasty. We got our food shockingly fast considering how busy it was. Great place!

Today as a family we headed to Earls for a family celebration. As a group we ordered food to share. There were 2 orders of the wings and other food but it’s the wings I would like to review as I have never experienced this in my life. The 2 full plates of wings came to the table with only wingette pieces, not one drumette was to be found. This I felt to be a bit unusual, so I asked the server and she didn’t know what I was asking and told me truthfully, that is how Earls serve their wings. In the end I didn’t want to go into a further discussion about what constitutes the pieces found in a typical plate of wings. I feel that this experience warranted a review and perhaps a future change in how Earls serve their wings.

Took 20 mins for drink re fills and waited for ever for our food. Needs improvement. Mashed potatoes were watering chicken tasted like rubber. All tasted bland. Overall not impressed

Was pretty excited to come here for the first time. From the minute we walked in I was in awe with the decor staff was extremely friendly. Unforchently THE FOOD. It arrived Luke warm. My garlic bread was forgotten. Nothing was seasoned (we were pretty hungry so we ate anyways.). The steak had nothing special the prawns didnt taste as they were described. Almost like they were cooked in oil and garlic powder thrown on. My daughters steak was pretty cold. But as I said previously we were starving. Food wasnt horrible. Just wasnt impressed especially for what we paid for.

The food a service weren't what I thought they would be for the price. I had expected a way better outcome. We were sitting beside dirty dishes on the floor, we ordered steak, and both my husband and myself didn't get steak knives. The waitress forgot the sides I ordered. My steak was over done and my husband's was blue rare. Both were supposed to be medium rare. We sat and waited a whole extra hour just waiting for our food, the waitress kept coming back saying it was on its way, not sure if it was lack of communication with the wait staff, or if something was wrong in the kitchen, either way, wasn't pleased.

Was packed, yet we were seated very promptly. Had the clam chowder and Steak Frites. Both were awesome. Very friendly servers

Exceptional service, unbelievable atmosphere. Had very impressive service from a young lady named Amanda, who completed and complimented a perfect evening in a wonderful venue. Had the salmon and the clam chowder, both prepared to perfection! Earl's is my new goto!

A veritable institution in Saskatoon. Consistently good food and service. The menu keeps up with the times - go back for old favorites or discover something new.

Came in with a group of 10 at 3pm this past saturday. We came for drinks and some appies in between wedding events. There was 2 other tables in the dining room. When we asked the hostesses if we could get a table of 10 put together she seemed highly inconvenienced even though she was just standing there. We had to ask for menus. The food was yummy as per usual. There was just a lack of team work.

So disappointed that the gluten free fish and chips are no longer available. They removed the dedicated gluten free fryer. That is why I went to this restaurant.

Dropped by for a work lunch. The food was amazingly delicious as were the drinks. Highly recommended.

We are visiting from Winnipeg and we were surprised how different this Earls looks. Love the original vintage Earls parrots and unique sign on the roof (Used to be McGavin Bread and said “Don’t say bread, say McGavin’s”). We sat outside and loved the coziness and comfort of the hedge enclosed patio. Food was regular Earl’s menu, tasted good. Love the Dry Rib appetizers (as always). Also liked that the Rhino beer is locally brewed. Cocktails were unique and good.

Most beautiful Earl's! Built into an old building on the outskirts of downtown, it still boasts the parrot mascots outside that Earls used to have adorning all their restaurants.
The food is the same as you find at all their locations but is fresh and well made.
If it's summertime ask to sit on their pergola style patio - shade with just the right amount of sunshine!

I've eaten there many times. They have a lovely, grapevine covered patio with heaters, an elegant bar area, lovely large interior with some round tables for groups. Earls offers (in addition to the regular alcohol list) their own beer brewed on site (very good in my opinion). Service has always been excellent, high class. Food has never disappointed.

Always great food and service. You know what you’ll get on a couple ti yak level. No surprises. Luv both the summer patio or inside lounge:)

An absolute must dining experience in Saskatoon. Great menu with lots of choice. The bar is excellent and service is tops.
