Galon Insurance

Been with Galon insurance for over 15 years and have my home insurance with them. Terrible service last week. Long story short. My brother purchased a brand new vehicle and wanted to add a package policy and I thought I would refer my brother to Galon insurance. Brought him in the first location at 3rd ave. They told me they don't have a broker in at the 3rd ave location and to head to 51st street. No problem. I head to the 51st location and they told me no broker at this location and to head to 3rd Ave. Strange, I just came from that location and I have a busy schedule myself so I can't be running around all day. So I ask for a name and email so I can do everything via email. The lady working the front refuses to give me the brokers name or email which I thought was ridiculous. Told me it they cannot give out a name or email and that I will have to call in. How can you not provide a name and an email address? I'm not even asking for a phone number. Also to have a business with 2 locations and to not have any brokers in mid mornings is ridiculous. Needless to say they lost my brother as a client.

Terrible service and needless to say I will be switching my auto insurance and home insurance to a different company.

Always great service and knowledge staff. Never had an issue with this issuer. Not once. I fully recommend them.

Went into the office 2 days after my wedding for a simple name change, I just got my new license in the mail and whoever was helping me changed the city I live in for in my physical card So now I need to wait another 2 weeks for a proper ID with all my correct information.

Can never get through over the phone. I request a call back but no one ever calls me back. Been trying to pay for my insurance for a month now. Probably just going to switch to someone else.

Always friendly and easy to deal with. Quick and efficient to get what I needed done. I usually do business here over the phone but have also visited the store and was treated the same.

Our go to place for all insurance needs, we're from Warman and won't even use the one there - the staff at Galon are ALWAYS friendly, ALWAYS welcoming and ALWAYS explain everything really well. Easy 5 stars

Very gracious stay even you pop in as a last minute customer on a Friday night just before closing. They helped me over the phone and saved me a legal headache on a short notice transaction. I'm grateful for their great service.

Poor experience, use someone else the staff is not knowledgeable and has to guess their way through simple tasks like getting a custom plate. If you want a good experience go elsewhere. Now, I'm signing documents on my phone as they didn't have me finish the required paperwork on site.

Starting Monday, I called three times this week to get an insurance worksheet for my home. I expressed that time was somewhat of a factor as I need to renew. I still haven’t received anything from them after 3 different phone conversations.

Never coming back. I'd been going to either Galon for anything I needed for years until one location almost ruined my wedding my making a mistake on my marriage licence and the other one aggressively refused to give my immigrant wife an ID regardless of how much documentation we had. Took less than 10 minutes at another dealer but they aggressively told me that wouldn't do it here. I will deal with any other SGI dealer over them.

I liked everything. Quickly changed the Ukrainian driver's license without queues. I recommend

Waited in a chair for 15 minutes while numerous employees stood around and visited with car salesman and new vehicle owner. Not impressed. Phone lines always busy

Was e mailed wrong insurance papers and got someone's registration I didn't know

Helpful people and great customer service. With consumer friendly hours. It’s the only place I go for my insurance needs.
