Go For Sushi Buffet

Deck was nice except for the dust from construction across the street. Good and Devore were neat and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We went back a second time and ate inside. Much better.

Nice food, good quality, variety to choose from and the order came fast. Good service, the place was clean.

An expensive but fun experience that the kids enjoyed. You order from a selection of sushi and sashimi on an iPad, then head over to the mostly western Chinese food buffet. Give yourself at least 2 hours and come hungry.

Tasty food, but service not tidy. It takes minutes to clean tables after customers have left. Cups are old and some look dirty. There is a need to improve on services such as timely cleaning of tables, change of cups, as well as need to train staff not to hold straws unwrapped in the hands for customer. Food is great though

Before service and food was really good. We’d come here for the buffet option and sushi but from my last two visits, it hasn’t been that good. Tables weren’t properly set (missing sauce plates or utensils), staff didn’t prepare the proper condiments (no soy sauce, tempura sauce or the ginger and wasabi). Overall, service has gone down a notch. Probably wont be coming as much as before.

The food is not phenomenal but ok. There are quite many to choose from. I like how they make the green beans, not the same as other Chinese buffets. The servers are fast. There is nothing very special but overall it’s ok.
I realize that the price is a bit costly but it’s understandable.

It's pricey but good. The buffet had crab legs and the made to order sushi was good. It's been better but it was very busy. Duck was good. Always good chicken wings. The servers aren't very friendly or talkative but really all they do is seat you bring your drink and take away plates. It was $100 for 3 people.

This has improved since I left this review. Just try to focus on your In house customers before delivery companies and everyone will be much happier!

We used to love going to Go For Sushi. Our last three or four visits the service has gone down hill. We usually arrive late to avoid the dinner rush but are still waiting about 20 minutes or more to get two orders (12 pieces) of sushi. I feel the priority of Skip The Dishes is diminishing their in house service. I think we will be finding somewhere else to go for sushi in the future.

A lovely all you can eat Chinese restaurant with a good sushi menu. Tips and tricks include they can make any kind of sushi you want as long as you know how you want the modifications to look like. Defo worth trying in Saskatoon

I loved it here (: My bf doesn’t like seafood and was happy with the buffet that included other meats and foods! He loved it and I loved ordering off the iPad and I thought the price was pretty fair for what you’re getting I believe it was 20$ lunch and 28$ dinner per person! (All you can eat) It was really delicious and my new favorite place to go to, Everything you need is on the iPad so you don’t constantly need to be getting someone’s attention to help you or if you’re an anxious person lol

The fish has a reasonably good texture despite being flash frozen for shipping. The buffet is usually well stocked and has a good assortment. There are lots of sushi options for those who don't like the idea of raw fish.

The service used to be excellent and is now still very good; just don't go when the place is packed or you may, for obvious reasons, go overlooked for long periods.

The food is tasty, with good selection. Not top notch sushi or sashimi, but good for the price. However, the service was poor the last time we were there. They were extremely busy, so expected a wait for our sushi order. However, took 15 minutes to get a can of Canada Dry alone. Got some of our order, but even after asking three times, we never got our tempura and only half of our sushi. People around us were getting their orders, but it seems our table was on "pay no mind" or something. After 90 minutes, we got tired and left. Everybody can have a bad night, and they were slammed, but that experience makes us not want to go back. Unfortunate,

I appreciate the food there very much. However, many times they play loud annoying music that really spoiled my appetite. Update: The service is sometimes disappointing. Some staff are really nice but some could be more polite and accommodating. Two staff we dealt with there was condescending and somewhat rude. They should be given more training in customer service. My friend and I were kinda regulars to this place before but would not consider visit there again just because tired of the staffs' attitude.

Totally enjoyed the buffet here with my family. They had a lot of variety. Getting a table took a bit because the restaurant had a lot of customers and fewer staff. The dishes weren't cleared off the tables on time, that's one thing they need to work on.

This place has GREAT takeout combos for the price. Remember to ask for extra ginger and soy sauce!

The Sushi is enjoyable. It isn't going to blow your mind, but it definitely will not disappoint. As far as Sushi goes, this is a great spot for a group of friends or family looking for a place that everyone can eat and feel satisfied. There are alternative options available for people who would prefer an alternative to Sushi.

Unable to comment on the dining-in experience as I have only ordered take out from here over the past couple of years but based on the comments of other viewers dine-in seems to be hit or miss. I've never felt like I've received anything but freshly prepared rolls from takeout orders.

We went there in hopes of a reasonably priced buffet.and we walked out with empty wallets. Very expensive for what they offer and pop is extra. At $62 for two people, with so little selection, I wouldn't recommend them. Here in Saskatoon, Smileys is still king.

Nice food but the buffet is great but since I have very little appetite buffet is not the best option for me go for it if it's your thing so you can get good value for the price

This place is pretty solid! The sushi isnt top tier, but not bad either. The buffet has some really good options, such as the spicy green beans and the fried surimi. It's not the best buffet, nor the best sushi, but does both pretty well!

Food and service were great, totally reasonably priced and the chef's obviously know what they are doing. Totally recommend.

Sushi was great! IPad ordering system was super neat! Lunch buffet was awesome for my husband who doesn't like sushi! Atmosphere was nice and it was an inexpensive lunch!

IT WAS Very bad experience there, Although it is all you can eat restaurant, after I finished my lunch, I informed them that I will not eat or even take away the remaining sushi.

When I went to pay, they have charged me for the sushi I ordered and didn't eat it as they were not tasty.

TECHNICALLY IT IS NOT BUFFET.

My advice if you have an extra food, take away without informing them, if you don't like just throgh it in the garbage, otherwise you would be charged for that.

Not as good as it was before. The bufet was almost empty. Took very long time until they started to fill up. Spent very long time in, and left almost hungry. Not happy at all.

Amazing food and lunch deal, although I became aware that the owner keeps all of the tips, not the minimum wage servers. This to me is quite disgraceful by the owners. I understand why the waiters morale is low.

I don’t understand how they keep running their business with poor service.
If they provide that kind of service in the other city, they can’t survive.

I was very disappointed in my last visit there. The sushi tasted gross and unappetizing. Everything was just off in some way. The fried sushi was especially gross. I was so disappointed that I will not be going back there, but i highly recommend new island sushi instead.

Good food, good service. The portions they give out at the buffet are quite small though. I can't wait until you can serve yourself there again.

I really like sushi but my husband isn’t a fan so this place was good for us. I ordered on July 6 and was relatively happy with my order. Just noticed that prices on some things have increased over 30% though which I’m not sure is worth it so good to be aware of.

Everytime I visit this place for dinner buffet, I failed to have crab. Crab is one of their menu for dinner. But they serve just really few crabs. Just few people who are really good luck can enjoy the crabs.
If I ask about crabs, they always say 5 minutes. But never served it, even I stayed there more than 1 hour.

Also, most of staffs are not friendly, never smile like angry. When they are serving food, place it on the table like a tossing at the edge. It makes me so uncomfortable.

This is the place to experience the worst customer service.
