Golf Town

Great selection, pricing seemed average but was looking for gifts so bought sale items. Happy with pricing and selection.

They have got to improve on customer service. Was in looking for a new fairway metal. Employee seemed very uninterested. Didn’t ask me at all about my game, what brands I’m interested in. Taped up a couple that I liked and left me to hit in the bay. I know I’m supposed to get fit and try clubs, but they sure don’t help much.

If you like trying out clubs with Masking tape all over them, go to golftown. Local Saskatoon Golftown doesn't have fairway woods to demo, they tape the club so bad that you cant get proper spin or feel from it. Terrible experience there.

Golf town is alright, other than the fact I feel judged walking in there as an overweight female golfer. There are no plus sizes in golf, it isn’t very inclusive in the store. The workers all judge too, if you want golf stuff buy it online. Everyone also watches you like you’re gonna steal something, it’s golfing in Saskatchewan. Not everyone has Ivy League golfing in their small towns.

Really poor floor service an older gentleman in shoes offers very little help makes you feel like you are wasting his time. The young kids at the tills are much better

Get rich idea, open a golf store in Saskatoon that actually has stock of products people use. Whoever does the ordering should honestly be replaced. The amount of times I walk in fully prepared to spend way to much money only to walk out empty handed is insane. How many people actually use Regular flex shafts? They’ll have 50 regular flex and 0 stiff of a brand new this years model club. Every. Single. Year. Went in to get a Golf Pride grip in April and they said they’re out of stock until the fall? So you went an entire golf season without the most popular golf grip in stock? Makes a lot of sense to me!

The staff was very helpful. I was able to try a few clubs on their simulator. I ended up buying some used clubs but will likely return to buy a driver they let me try.

I wanted to trade in a couple clubs and use the credit towards re gripping my irons, but they have a store policy that you can only trade in towards new clubs. It shouldn't matter what I trade my clubs towards. I also believe if they loosened up their trade in policy they would have a better selection of used clubs. They could also wash the dirt off their over priced used clubs before trying to sell them.

Once again I went into golf town to find that nobody wanted to help me. I was there for 15 minutes looking at golf clubs. I was prepared to buy a club today. I walked around, I pulled them out, I swung them, I held them and yet nobody came and helped me. All the sales people must be financially independent at golf town.

Great products, good place to go if you know exactly what you need and where to find it in the store becaue their customer service almost non existent

It's an awesome store (store only). Full of most of your golfing needs. I give it a 5/10. Only thing keeping me from rating it a 8-9 is the fact that almost always, they don't greet minorities once they walk in. Don't believe me? Go check it out for yourselves. Maybe if they treated everyone equally but then again, this is Saskatoon.

I have been going to golf town as it’s the only club retailer in the city of Saskatoon. I’ve had multiple problems since I’ve been going there. Just recently I had bought two Evnroll putters and both times they gave me the wrong headcover for the club as well it was covered in stains and dust. A short period after that i had pre ordered the Stealth + driver/ three wood. When they were both delivered they were covered in scratches (both the head and shaft) so I decided to take back the driver and keep the three wood as it wasn’t that bad. I had to switch the driver at the store three times due to the quality of each one and ended up getting a worse one i started with. If you don’t look a certain way they take advantage of the fact they can get away with what they want too. I’ve contacted them on social media and directly on email. On February 19th the social media said they would be in contact through email but after three follow ups on my end i still haven’t heard a word. Going to golf town is a good way to get clubs immediately but if you have the time to wait for the best quality of products you should order them straight from the manufacturer…trust me the wait is worth it.

I got some great advice from the salesman helping in the golf shoes section. Not pushy, just helpful and honest. My kind of way to buy golf shoes.

I dealt with one of the younger guys and thought he was fantastic. I told him I was looking for just a PW cause I lost mine but was planning on getting new clubs after selling my house so he dug around and found the only just PW in the store for me. Then he showed me some cheaper sets and said based off the limited experience I had he wouldn't spend anymore money then some of those cheaper sets. Didn't push anything on me to try and buy. Helped me find a pull cart and the few odds and ends I was looking for. I asked about fitting and he said it's not worth it till I've been at it for awhile and have made changes to my swing and got that where I want it before getting too serious about new clubs. It always looks busy and some of the reviews aren't the greatest about staff but I thought the guy I dealt with was great and gave me good advice, I'll definitely be back in the future.

Staff members come off as arrogant and stuck up (mostly the elderly gentlemen) and not willing to work with you to find the clubs you need. Basically no extra effort to satisfy customers very poor customer service in my experience at the saskatoon store.

Sadly, online shopping experience VERY disappointing. Golf bag shown as in stock; ordered. 10 days later email received that it was no longer in stock. Substitution product offered didn't compare. Questionable online purchasing inventory management = questionable attention to customer experience = questionable business sustainability = opportunity for a competitor!

No customer service, we walked around the store not once did anyone offer to help us, they were quick to ask other customers if they needed any help to find what they were looking for

Just different with the Covid situation. 15% off not quite enough of a deal in these economic tough times.

The purpose of my visit was to have 2 golf clubs regripped the associate showed me the grips I was looking for and he installed them while I waited, the service was excellent and associates were very knowledgeable and friendly, all and all a very good experience

Went into the store for a price match recently and there unfortunately was a mistake on the receipt in which I did not notice until I was home. I called the store back and it was handled exceptionally well over the phone. This is why I shop locally instead of online. Thank you Bailey!

Phoned to see if they had a club in a stock the person on the phone would not say if they had club till i let him know what my budget was for the club.

Stopped in to get a putter fixed. Great staff, incredibly helpful. Sale on right now with some great prices. If you're looking for new equipment, a new club or some new clothes definitely stop in.

The service was poor. They where more interested in counting inventory that helping customers. I was in trying to get clubs checked of lie angle a loft before going on holiday. They wouldn't even try to help. This not the first time I have received this type of service at the store. I drove down from Prince Albert. I was told to go there because I am left handed. They are the people with the equipment. Thanks for nothing

5 Star service here! I had a fitting today and the guys there are very knowledgeable and will suit what is needed for game improvement. Every question i had was answered and some info that was given will be remembered. Enjoyable atmosphere and I left very happy with the outcome. I will go back for sure and will recommend to anyone that is looking. Keep up the great work guys!

Very disappointed today at golftown in saskatoon. I took my daughter with her full set of Taylormade m2 clubs to see if she needed new shafts because of her swing speed increase and growth. Was over ten minutes before any help with staff standing around doing diddly squat! Finally after some time help arrived. After her session the so called "pga pro" tells us yes, she is now into a mens shaft. He then tells us it would be $800 to reshaft her clubs and it would be better to buy a new set! So trade in value. Hmmm. $410 dollars for driver down thru all the irons! So another set of m2's at 2800+ is better than reshafting at 800, which is high anyway! Really! And at the same time I am trying out a new me with the twistface. Zero help with the computer. No help or any questions if I would like to try another shaft or adjustment, nothing! Dropped 500 there on other stuff like shoes and such. Wish I hadn't. Won't be back there. Go to regina. Much better store and staff!
