We loved the look of this classic hotel and loved the restaurant and great service even more! Not crowded but very high quality experience.

Beautifully restored boutique hotel. The queen suite we had was comfortable, and spacious. The bed was exceptionally comfortable!
Staff was so pleasant, friendly and helpful.
Was definitely a treat to stay in this lovely hotel.

It's nice but rather pricey. The food is excellent, the rooms aren't anything out of this world. Nice old building, nothing overly spectacular. No complaints.

Wonderful place to stay. There is a restaurant on site. The hotel is a great character hotel. The staff are helpful. There is some parking at the hotel. Highly recommend.

The room was very hot, they hadn't turned the ac on yet. I left the room for a conference and came back to a fan in the room which was fantastic! Staff here are so nice

My wife and I stayed here a week or so ago on a Sat night. I don't often write reviews, but figured I had to help plug this place however I could after the experience. We were overall very impressed. It looks to me like they put a solid effort into running the place. We've stayed at the spa many times and the lack of maintenance and just general uncleanliness the last time around had us looking for something new. If you're staying in Moose Jaw and looking for a quiet get away (leave the kids at home), you can't beat this place.

Pros:
* Couldn't find a hair in our room. And I looked hard! Probably the first time I've ever come up empty, including at many LasVegas strip mega resorts. Cleaning team is phenomenal in and out of the rooms. We left them a $20 tip which is my largest cleaning tip ever. I'm generally pretty frugal and only tip when warranted. Great job whomever you are!
* Front desk staff were all pleasant, helpful, and available.
* Price was pretty reasonable at $189 all in for a King bed.
* Restaurant had good food overall - only one minor observation noted below. You can tell that they put effort into the food, service, and decor in it which is getting to be a rarity these days with deep fryers and pre-prepped foods being thrown on the grill in most places. For $30-$40 a plate, compared to a typical restaurant night out for the two of us, the price wasn't all that expensive. Was nice to sit in the unique and fancy decor and experience something different.
* We took the Prairie Bee Meadery history tour for $135 (which gives you $100 in the restaurant so it's really only $35 for a lot of mead samples and an interesting couple hours of absorbing prohibition facts). Ended up buying some bottles of mead which I know are going to be fantastic when we crack them open.
* The decor inside the entire hotel is just cool. I enjoy learning about history and didn't know much about this place. Was really happy to see that someone saved it from the wrecking ball.
Thank you to who all was involved!
* Everything we usually do is within a block - the park, the casino, the spa pool.
* It was really quiet and peaceful in the entire place - room, lobby, restaurant, meadery tour.

Cons:
First off, we'll be back to Grant Hall, so none of these are show stoppers by any means.
* The front entrance has some pictures on the wall that tell the story of the hotel's history. Very neat. But IMO they weren't done very well. Some of the pictures clearly don't line up with the historical period being described below them. Just seemed weird to be talking about the 1950s and have a picture from the 1980s above it, for example.
* I ordered the ribs for supper. I don't think the membrane was removed before cooking which makes for a very messy eating experience and just more fat than I care for. I'd try something else next time. Everything else I had on the side was wonderful though. My wife had the chicken and it was delicious.
* We also had a calimari starter. Would have been great to have a mix of the rings and the full mini octopus.
* I couldn't figure out how to operate the TV had to call for help. But, the lady said they're working on simplifying the system down to one remote so improvement on the way. I don't think a company could make a more complex remote than SaskTel - then factor in you need another one to control other aspects of the TV. None the less, got it figured out in short order.

So, overall, we'll be back to the Grant Hall. I've never seen any advertising for your facility and think it would be money well spent to do a campaign in Regina. I know lots of people just want a night away, without a long drive, to go hang out. Maybe offer a package where you include 2 pool passes or something at the spa or partner with the casino to offer some free play as part of a special rate.

Anyways, keep taking good care of the place!

Price was high ($200 with doggo fees) for the quality of the room. Said to be dog friendly. Took my dogs out to pee and the doors are all locked when we attempt to re-enter. No keycard system. My dogs are freezing and crying because the ground is covered with snow and ice and they can’t stand on it for extended time. They are 15/16 years old. Get a key card system! It’s 2023. The desk agent finally woke up and let us in. Fairly disappointed. This could have become a security issue as well. As we walked back in we were asked if anyone followed us. It’s a bit late to ask that if you’ve already let us in the building, no? I’d rather stay at a motel 6.

Beds are super comfortable. My steak was awesome. Exactly how I wanted it. Parking isn't the best but not a serious issue.

I have always loved going to Grant Hall for dinner. Our experience on Valentine's Day was superb. I asked to rent out the movie theatre to watch our wedding video for the first time with my husband. I can not say enough good things about Shirley. She gave me her personal phone number, arranged to meet me on her day off to ensure our video was compatible with the movie theatres technology. On the day of she set up private dining experience for us out side of the theatre and included thoughtful touches including music with a bluetooth speaker and complimentary dessert. The food was amazing as always - my husband had steak - cooked to a perfect medium rare with a peppercorn sauce, sweet potatoes, and caesar salad. I had the half rock cornish hen with brocolini and the summer salad. The chicken was buttery and perfectly cooked while the salad was so refreshing. Grant Hall truly made our first Valentine's day as husband and wife so memorable and unique. A huge thank you to the staff for making it happen.

The staff are super friendly to everyone that walks in, they make any guest feel welcomed and important. I traveled with my cats and were welcomed without a problem. They're housekeeping staff were equally as friendly and always willing to assist. The room is very comfortable and right accross from crescent Park. Internet is high speed with no delay. I highly recommend the grant hotel
