Great Canadian Oil Change

These guys were quick and efficient. They answered my questions and addressed a concern I had. It was also very handy that they are open so early!

I've been a loyal customer here for a few years now. The service is great and the staff are very friendly! They are great at checking more than just oil like transmission oil and belts and recommended services if needed but are never pushy. Highly recommend.

Miller was awesome. Didn’t try to over sell on anything. Pulled my work truck which he recognized and immediately gave me discount for fleet truck. I am taking my other work truck here. If you are reading this review as customer then take your trucks and cars here for oil change. Keep up the good work.

Had been to several oil change centers, but this outlet/ franchise stand out among all. Their service is second to none, customer relations is superb and wait time is very minimal; all these at a very reasonable price. They are manned with skilled Technicians. Two of their technicians (Shamus and Tyson) are not just highly skilled, but quite professional in their acts and will make you drive out with comfort and assurance of safety and reliability touch that your vehicle had received. It is a place you just have to be and experience the 5 star oil change service they render!

Went to this "establishment" for an "oil change. " The "gentlemen" were "nice" and I was "serviced" quickly. Good value for "doubloons"

Customer service is always wonderful at this location. They're very honest when it comes to what services your vehicle actually needs rather than being like some other oil change places that try and just upsell you anything. The added bonus is that they always have coupons which help in reducing the cost of services as well. Highly recommend this location!

Good service yet, I was told all my levels and such were great. I ran into an issue with my vehicle shortly after to find out that I was completely out of coolant, leaving ym vehicle with no heat. I'm disappointed that they never notified me and could've caused me more issue with my vehicle. I've heard bad reviews on this place that I thought I could trust. Never going back.

I've always had my truck serviced at my dealer, but since Covid the amount of driving I do is way down, so the prompted oil changes on the Maintenance Minder is way too far apart. Therefore I do one oil change at 50% and another around 10%. Since I can't convince the dealer to not reset the MM, I've opted to have the mid point oil changes done elsewhere. This time I chose the GCOC at Louise and 8th.

I pulled in around 6: 15pm. All the doors were lined up two deep, me being the third in line. I don't know how long the car inside had been in the stall I was directed to. It was just under an hour wait, so not too bad. I was offered beverage, but declined.

The staff were friendly and explained everything they were doing. Chose 'house 0w20' as that is the recommended oil. One of the techs started doing tire pressure adjustments, which I knew would be low at it was -30 outside. However, their adjustments started setting off my TPMS, and I pointed out they had put 40 and 41 lbs in the tires, rather than 35. He started arguing that their gauges are 'super accurate' and the TPMS was wrong. I know the TPMS is accurate to two professional gauges I have at home. Another tech said they have six gauges and they vary by five pounds.

Anyway, when done I did leave with the tires well over recommended pressure. The cost for the oil change including fees was $120 plus taxes. This is about $30 more than my dealer charges.

The next day the tire pressures were still well above (at 39 and 40), so I adjusted them using my own gauge. I also noticed a pool of oil under my truck in the garage. I couldn't find any leak, so my guess is the under-tech didn't wipe spilled oil from the frame when he removed the filter. I've had this before with the quick-change shops. Always nice and clean with the dealer.

Retail price from any store of fuel filter housing turned out to be $25 at max, yet their markup is $15 on top of retail price? I am amazed that with that much crew (Most of them wondering around), turn around time per vehicle is 20-25 minutes for a small vehicle.sometime even 30+ minutes with useless chatter, for just regular oil change? Use to be good place for oil change but recent unnecessary upselling tactics, painfully slow progress, I am afraid this was my last visit there.

Came in the morning to get my check engine light fixed. So minor. Great service, did a basic maintenance check on all my fluids and they even did the air in my tires.

The only thing that bothered me is the dude with a lip piercing. Why are you touching my vehicle? Why were you fiddling with my wing on my Civic? You weren't even working on my vehicle. Yes, I know it's bondo and poorly done, but there's no reason for you to be fiddling with my car unless you were doing any service, please leave it alone. I saw you in my rear view mirror, unprofessional and not cool. I didn't want to make a fuss while I was there so I'm leaving a review here. Check your cameras. It's just an unwritten rule, don't touch people's car man.

A few weeks ago I went to the 8th St & Louise St location for a regular oil change on my vehicle.
Upon my arrival Travis greeted me at my car window and directed me to pull into the bay next to the one I had pulled up to as it would get my vehicle served quicker and have me back on the road sooner.
Shamus and Travis were ‘my guys’ to do the oil change, they were two of the most professional and personable individuals. Shamus offered me full explanation of what was happening under the hood of my car and ways I can stay on top of maintenance between oil changes.
They were both amazing to deal with and I would highly recommend this location and if you happen to pull up to the right bay where these two operate, I guarantee you will not be disappointed with the service
