Great facility with friendly and super helpful staff! Very happy this opened up in Brighton and I decided to give it a try. I have never felt so motivated and accomplished as I do leaving Habiit after each workout. Variety of times to choose from and the app is super helpful.

It’s pretty easy for Habiit to become a habit. Friendly atmosphere welcoming to all abilities, where you can turn off the brain and have enthusiastic and knowledgeable coaches lead you through a 45 minute workout that will work you harder than anything you would do at home or at a traditional gym. Every class familiar but different. A great place to invest in your self.

HABIIT Athletics is a fantastic workout experience all around. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facilities are always clean and tidy and the workouts are incredible. The coaches guide you through a 45 minute burn that is fun and challenging. The HIIT format is the perfect way to get that workout in for the day. I would strongly recommend anyone trying out a workout at HABIIT!

This has been an amazing workout. The high intensity and mix of exercises is a great way to get in shape. The instructors are good at pushing each of us to do our best. I highly recommend the Rowhouse, it has earned it 5 Stars.

Awesome workouts, such high intensity in a non intimidating way. There are no other classes like this in Saskatoon. Mackenzie was awesome and my legs were definitely feeling it walking out of class.

For a guy with multiple knee surgeries/injuries I've always had a hard time finding low-impact/high-intensity workouts that I actually enjoyed, until I started going to CREW. The classes are fast paced a$$ kicking's with awesome instructors that motivate and push you throughout the class. Definitely recommend!

Crew has become one of my favourite places to go in the city! Lorne and Sheena are very friendly and they always greet you with a smile. I love the HIIT workouts as the instructors always do something different and they know how to challenge you. The best part is I got my boyfriend to workout with me and he hates working out. I am so happy I have found a place that we both can enjoy together as being active and healthy is a passion of mine.

This is one of my favourite places to go. The HIIT class is great and the combination of rowing and weights produces a really efficient workout. They even have a HIIT 101 class for beginners so there's something for everyone.

The classes at Crew are an awesome full body workout! Great studio and a welcoming environment. Highly recommend!

I have been attending the HIIT class on Friday's at lunch with Carly, awesome workout! Fast paced! She keeps everyone motivated and moving the entire time. I always look forward to her class. The facility is extremely clean, and equipment is top notch.

I love crew row house! It is a great, modern facility that is super inviting. The classes are only 45 minutes so they are easy to fit in, and even though they are shorter classes you definitely get your workout in! I love the rowing interspersed with a HIIT workout, you will definitely get your sweat on and feel great after. The instructors are great, especially Carly! She'll kick your butt but you'll thank her at the end. The only thing that prevents me from going everyday is the cost, but all great things comes with a price right? 100% still go and check them out!

So happy I found this GEM of a workout! I love the Crew HIIT classes because they are only 45 minutes long and I get a crazy good workout. They offer tons of different time slots so I can get a class in before or after work and even weekends!
All the instructors I have had a great, very encouraging to make you sweat! The facility is fantastic as well!
Treat yourself to a Crew and Brew class, they buy you a beer after working out!

I visited Crew Rowhouse this morning for the first time with a friend of mine. We participated in the CREW HIIT Class with Cassidy. Here are my thoughts:

THE GOOD:

- Crew uses the Mind Body app common to many of the fitness and wellness businesses in and around Saskatoon. As such, it’s user friendly and especially so if you are already familiar with it.

- The check-in process is easy and similar to that of RYDE YXE. Just show up and provide your name - done. The front desk clerk gives a brief tour to new customers which is appreciated.

- The facility is clean, fresh, and adorned in that chic, modern-industrialist inspired design Millennials would appreciate. Polished concrete flooring, painted gymnasium-style brick walls, exposed pipes; you get the idea. There is even the requisite framed insta-art with inspirational quotes. The fitness area is similarly clean and modern. All of the equipment is new and barely out of its packaging. They have installed a proctor wall at the front of the fitness area that projects current music videos onto the wall and invites participants to believe that it will be somehow incorporated into the class (It is not). But the aesthetic and atmosphere created is new and fresh and you can hardly criticize.

THE BAD

- The HIIT Class itself includes about 10 minutes of rowing and another 30 minutes of bootcamp-style workouts. The rowing is kind of fun but I can understand how it quickly gets repetitive; hence the HIIT component. Still, it’s kind of fun to row - at first. I felt though that the rowing component was definitely short changed in favour of the HIIT component. It would have been nice to have done more as a full group.

- The HIIT component is where the wheels fall off the bus. The class is separated into 5 groups, each dedicated to a circuit of exercises. We are rapidly explained about 10-12 different exercises in the span of 3 minutes and then expected to replicate on command. Glazed looks abound. I felt for the lone instructor who then spent the entire remaining 30 minutes hurriedly running around the studio re-explaining the workouts to confused participants and checking on their progress. She tried quite hard to keep everyone, a total of about 20 of us, to task. It felt onerous, cramped (the HIIT area is quite smaller that the rowing area), and a lot of time wasted on transitioning between circuits. It did not feel like an adequate workout. A comment was made that for such a class you would need a minimum of 2 instructors or a set of monitors to demonstrate each of the workouts in order to offload the work of the lone instructor. I would definitely agree.

In the end, Crew Rowhouse is a local business trying to capitalize on the boutique fitness trend found in many cities including Saskatoon. One can never criticize another option for fitness adoption and it’s great to see a new approach being tried in Saskatoon. I worry, however, that their business model still requires some adjustment in order to attract repeat customers the way that RYDE has succeeded. The HIIT class definitely needs a second instructor and a more motivational tone in order to succeed. Orange Theory and other businesses offer Boot Camp style workouts that are much more effective and enjoyable (If you like boot camps). Also, mirrors in the workout area would be nice. I plan to use up my remaining intro passes to check out their 2 other class offerings but at this point my enthusiasm for Crew is quite muted.
