Handy Special Event

Rented from here for our july 2023 - fantastic to work with. I had so many changes along the way, and they accommodated everyone.

I have worked in the special event industry for over 25 years, primarily setting up tents of all sizes. We attended a family wedding, in Saskatoon, where handyman had supplied a 60×100 tent. The tent was set up properly but was filthy, with muddy footprints, and dirt spots covering the whole roof interior. Two tables were broken and the chairs were covered in mud. Rent from handyman, but be prepared to have your dream wedding marred by unpreparedness.

Sent half the workers they should have, finished hours after they were supposed to, and no one seemed to care. Out of the three guys they sent only one seemed to be working at any given moment.

This place was recommended by our venue and was a terrible experience. We booked everything as an estimate, they told me call back and leave a credit card to confirm the booking. I did this about 3 weeks before the wedding. Fast forward to two days before the wedding, I call to confirm the pickup time, they tell me I never left a credit card number and the order wasn't put together. After the wedding was done they tried to charge me for a tray of glasses that we never received or ordered. The staff wasn't bad but overall I would not recommend

We had great service, we only had a couple of hours left to set up the hall, and we requested the red carpet runners. They came through and made the event extra special.

Rented beautiful glasses for my wedding. People loved them. The company was so good to work. Would rent from them again and would recommend.
