Hawood Inn

Great location and friendly service. Rooms are dated and be aware there is no elevator to the second floor. Otherwise this was a fabulous place to stay. Outside decks are spacious and the food at the restaurant is fabulous. Will absolutely stay again.

Very nice space - I was there for some meetings and the front desk staff were very accommodating. The menu was lacking some variety especially for vegetarians, but decent enough price for the location.

We have had many great experiences at the Hawood. The food has always been consistent through the years and dinning experience is absolutely the best. The team does a great job.

We’ve stayed here many times because of the great location of the hotel. The staff is friendly but the entire hotel is very very very understaffed. There are no elevators so we had to carry our babies and their strollers up all the stairs and the circuits are so old that they said they wouldn’t be strong enough to handle plugging in a microwave to heat up baby’s bottles. The rooftop hot tubs are nice and the fire pits up there are very cozy, great for lounging with friends and family. The restaurant has amazing food, but again, extremely understaffed. We waited about 15 mins to get seated, we waited 15 mins to get drinks, and we waited almost an hour to get our food every time we went. The hotel has great potential, they just need to hire more people.

We’ve stayed here a few times a winter for almost ten years, and it’s a perfect accommodation for a relaxing winter getaway.

The hot tubs have been neglected in previous years, but they’re spotless this year. The kitchens are well equipped, the log furniture is priceless, the TVs and fireplaces are good, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The free-to-borrow skis and snow shoes are great quality.

The only things I miss are gas BBQs on the deck, and how there used to be a shovelled on the lake, for playing hockey on.

Highly recommend any of the condos for just adults, or with kids.

Cute place to stay, recommend if your looking for affordable, hot tubs on roof top, nice. Restaurant great service and breakfast.

Visiting every year since 2013, always a pleasant & comfortable stay, Lots of activities around the year and friendly staff.

Great hospitality, rooms were a bit dated, loved the rooftop hot tubs. Food at the restaurant was good, but only option as it was during off season.

Easily would have given our stay five stars, unfortunately the heater in our room needs fixing and consequently for my wife she did not sleep well the two nights we stayed there.

Hawood Inn was the perfect place to visit for our annual business meeting. Just over an hour drive from the city of Prince Albert nestled in the serene winter cover of snow laden spruce & frosty poplars. Just enough elegance & a touch of rustic beauty it was our home away from home for 2 days. Warm friendly staff, excellent food & comfy rooms & a jacuzzi on the roof to top it off!

One of the nicest places I have ever seen. Very quite and your deck has view of the lake.
We were there on business trip and the provided an amazing meeting room, with good food, and excellent service.

It's in the heart of a what would look like a small seasonal community with lots of shops and eateries.

The beach is only a few minute walk.

Would recommend this to anyone looking for a little get away I'm the summer.

We had a perfect breakfast with a view of the lake. The food was great and the server Murray was exceptional. Even though the place was very busy and short staffed he did his job so efficiently and still remained calm and friendly. He is a definite asset to the restaurant!

Noisy. Could hear people next room over talking through locked door between 2 rooms.
Another guest knocked on her door for 1/2 hr as she was locked out.
Front desk phone message was " hours to call at 8 am.and " stay safe".
Front desk person did come to floor to try assist that guest and approx 15 min later guest was banging on her room door again. Was finally quiet at 3am.
I informed front desk in am of this, and was told they would talk to manager and I may get discount and that there were several people that complained about the noise.
Was told I would be contacted in the afternoon, and was not.

Rooms are clean and adequate. Great food at the restaurant! I would give it a 5 star but no WiFi is a downer! Not like you're there to watch tv but at the end of the night a bigger tv and a Chromecast is the way we roll

Waskesiu is Beautiful and the Hawood is a difinet reflection of that. Dining room has some of the best dishes. Stop in, you won't be disappointed
