Holiday Inn Express & Suites Regina Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Building was old and dirty. Construction was going on in the area making it difficult to get around. Lastly there was parking but it was paid separately. I dont recommend.

Service was great here. Rooms are a bit dated and oddly it's great being located DT bit it's definitely a sketchy part of DT. Caution at night when alone.

Good value, quality, and location for a 3-star hotel. The room was spacious & clean with a few chairs to sit on, coffee maker, fridge, microwave. There were a few breakfast items in the included continental breakfast. 1 block walk to get the shuttle to the Rider game. The elevator is a bit slow & clunky, but it did the job.

I wonder what items are used to develop such a large a$$holė in management? Absolute unprofessionalism and poor public relations.

The most unwelcoming hotel experience I had.
I was stuck in Regina downtown at 11pm on a winter night. I walked from the Riders Bus Station, 2 blocks away. Nothing was open in the area. It was around -34degC. I was looking for a place to just recollect myself, to call for friends to pick me up. I saw the Holiday Inn and I felt safe. I walked towards there. The guy in the reception didn't even open the door for me and insisted that I am not a guest so I cannot enter the hotel. Since when do hotels become this unwelcoming? What if I needed to book out of an emergency? I have stayed in so many Holiday Inns around the country and never have I thought that they are this rude to people.

Holiday Inn, you just lost me and my whole family as a customer. And will make sure all my friends know about this unwelcoming experience I had. And to the guy at the reception, I understand you are doing your job, but bless your soul, you could have been nicer and less rude. I pray you will never experience what you made me experience.

Very clean, straightforward, no fuss, no muss room. Bright, spacious Breakfast area with hot food options, not just continental. Friendly, helpful staff!

Showing its age but the rooms are very clean and the staff are great. Breakfast isn't as good as other HI I stay at

Staff were friendly. Rooms are modern and spacious. Tv remote was unresponsive and channels sort of sucked. Breakfast was handy

I don't know why this hotel has four star review. I had really bad experience.no room temperature control, have to manually turn on and off the heating. Had a very bad sleep due to the uncontrollable room temperature. The shower didn't work well too, either it is too hot with good flow, or too cold with small flow.never met what you need.

Not a good experience, maybe a shortage of employees. Not clean and no elevator also. But price was fair.

I was there for a week for training. The staff were excellent to deal with. The room was ok, one had to get their own towels and I had to remove garbage from my room because of Covid. Bed was comfortable but the one thing I noticed it smelt of a strong body ordour which I found unpleasant.

This hotel has been DEFRAUDING customers through Booking.com by allowing a booking of a Jacuzzi Spa suite that either doesn't exist or is double booked everytime. They accept the reservation and then don't refund by blaming Booking.com. Suggest contacting authorities for a fraud case investigation or pursuing your refund through a small claims court fraud claim.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Before arrival the staff were extremely rude over the phone to the point I cancelled my reservation all they want is there money and after reviewing other reviews they were even rude in their replies. I was also told my room would have a spa tub and then when we called to confirm they said that room doesn’t even come with them. And I would be able to stay in the one that did with no reasons given.

Id say Best Hotel ever in regina. Good breakfast. Great value. Exceptional service. Staff were all friendly and very helpful like estrella and the front desk just didnt get the chance to get her name tho. Had great experience staying in this hotel

The staff is friendly but the facility is showing its age and while I was the the elevator broke and being on the 5th floor is the problematic. Also they charge for parking and provide no shuttle to the airport. So while the staff is great, there are a number of negatives.

Friendly and informative staff. Alright decor and furnishings. Pretty good for an old building.

Nice place, clean friendly staff but what they never mention until you get there is parking costs you 15 a night. And the lot right next to the hotel is small so you have to park across the street in an impark lot with little security. Also no view!

Great boutique style hotel. Location to downtown shopping and restaurants is excellent. A good value for what is offered.

Would give this place a zero if I could just because of their rude staff (who is seemingly nice) at the reception.

There is no proper thermostat control in the room. There is one knob on the system, but very hard to tune it on appropriate temperature.

Great staff but the parking is weird. I gave my license plate to the front desk but still got a $70 ticket for parking. The staff said they will take care of it though.

We have enjoyed that place. Breakfast included, nice, clean.
Don't like only one side of the hotel - they're charge for parking if you have vehicle

We stayed overnight in 2 Queen room. It was very large and clean. The bed was very comfortable. All in room amenities were good. The continental breakfast that was included was one of largest I've ever seen. Lots of food to choose from, hot and cold. The hotel allowed us to check in very early, which was convenient as were headed to Mosaic Field for a football game. We got in, got changed and out the door. Only negatives, were the single elevator and the long lines at check-ins. Can't help the long line when everyone arrived at the same time but the elevator was an issue. I would definitely stay here again.
