Holiday Inn Express & Suites Regina-South, an IHG Hotel

Great service. I lost my Gold chain from there and the house keeper handed it over to the front desk and I received it back. Really appreciate your service. Breakfast is delicious too

My only complaint is the noise transfer between floors. Being close to the airport I'm sure many travelers are up early but it definitely is disturbing to those on the lower floors

The room was great. It was totally spotless, very large and staff were super friendly and polite.

The cons were the super slow internet (I'd compare it to dialup) and the swimming pool. I suspect the pumps were turned off in the pool so no skimmers were operating. As a result the pool was loaded up with dead ants.

Good rooms, but way too noisy. Lack of Security, there's no security personnel that i saw while in the property. I had a weekend stay here when we saw the Roughriders Game in Regina, then after partying at the nearby bar, me and my wife decided to call it a night and went to sleep by 12pmn. Then around 3am, we can hear people talking through the walls like there was no wall at all, we tried knocking on their rooms, then i called the front desk and they were able to silence the other drunk guests on the other room. The sound proofing on this hotel sucks, you can hear people talking and walking on other rooms. Otherwise, breakfast was great and tasty. Front Desk agents are all very well trained and super nice. Their room price is the best value you can get for a nice hotel stay, but they need to work on the sound proofing on these rooms, it gets so bad at night.

The hotel staff were kind and helpful. However, the hardware facilities are among the worst hotels in the area. Best luck to the employees, but I hope the hotel owner gets out of the business because the person clearly doesn't care.

Spacious room but needs more lighting in a couple areas. Bathroom was small. Good selection for continental breakfast, big room, but it starts at 6: 30 (downtown location starts at 6). Parking is somewhat limited & cramped. Good location.

The walls are thin and the AC is very loud.
It was not properly cleaned: there was a dirty towel next to the leg of the chair and the bottom of the tub had stains on it.
Toilet paper holder was tilted sideways and same with the charging outlet.

Room was ok. Breakfast was very greasy and not very good. Pool was unclean and looked nothing like the picture

My parents and I stayed here for a friend's wedding. The service was exceptional. All the staff were so genuine and happy. They greeted us every time we arrived back. The continental breakfast is by the best I have ever had!

Clean, very comfortable and the staff are great. The walls and ceilings are thin. We had a noisy restaurant bunch above us and had to call guest services to deal with it. We could hear TVs in the adjacent rooms. It was a pretty full hotel as it wad Easter break. Maybe less noisy at a quieter time of year.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Quiet hotel you didn't hear other guest. One negative.they are having renovations done. So some debris around. Will stay here again

Went out of their way to accommodate me after my car broke down, and the hotel was very nice with a great breakfast that was included!

Still under renovation, it's not good idea to stay here recently.

We've been staying at various jacuzzi suites in Regina to see how they compare. One of our first was at this hotel back in November.
Hotel is convenient for food and shopping and hotel staff were friendly. Room was clean.
Now.the jacuzzi tub was just alright. Had a small chunk missing from it but it didn't seem to affect the function of it.
Room was actually really noisy for being a fairly empty hotel due to Covid. Pretty sure I heard the guest above us fart really loudly one morning. Hahaha. Which means the noise between floors was actually a lot louder than other places I've stayed recently.

Great service. Everyone was really nice and ready to help at any time. Nela from the breakfast area was really helpful. I will defently recommend this place for anyone looking for a great stay.

Clean and friendly front desk people. Due to Covid, we never got to eat a sit down breakfast. A tad bit pricey

Was a decent overnight stay. Kids had the opportunity to swim but waterslides weren't available for use. Had to book a time slot for them to swim for an hour. They enjoyed it. The price was resonable for two room accommodations. I'd stay again.

First night the service was great. We came back a few days later and the service was not very good. It was like staying in two different hotels. The breakfast was good.

Well what to say about this hotel. First the positive. The staff are friendly and always willing to answer any questions. They arranged a shuttle for us for 415am and had fresh coffee waiting for us. The amenities are good. Pool, hotub all good. Rooms are clean and very well designed. Breakfast was good and hot and a decent selection. Now the bad. The hotel must have been built in about a week. The walls are made of paper I swear! Every little noise could be heard whether in the hallway or the next room or the room down the hall. I had an afternoon shift and tried to nap before my shift however, this was almost impossible due to the cleaning staff in the next room. Whether vacuuming or cleaning the bathroom, they were noisy as noisy could be. Now this is no fault of theirs but because of how cheaply the hotel was built. All noises echoed what felt like 1000 times worse than it was. Then the weekend came. Again no fault of any of the staff but with about 100 hockey kids filling the hotel! Well you can guess how well that went over with the paper walls! In closing, a good hotel, good location, close to amenities but very cheaply built!

Hotel is a little dated, could use some care. Breakfast was okay. All in all the stay wasn't too bad.

As hotels go, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Regina-South is smack dab where it should be for this class of hotel. For a traveler looking for a clean affordable place to stay, this place is that and more. Easily accessible and close to many amenities like shopping and dinning. The rooms were clean and a comfortable size. The pool is adequate and well maintained, as is the hot tub. The thing about this place that exceded my expectation was the complementary breakfast. I’ve had my share of hotel breakfast over the year, and this was far beyond the standard toast with butter and jam. There’s an omelette making contraption, for crying out loud, I was pleasantly surprised. All in all, if I’m ever back in Regina, this is a do-over for sure.

Arrived at 1am, fast and easy check-in. Complementary water bottles at front desk. King suite was large and clean. Very comfortable king size bed and pillows. Only complaint is the heater/fan was very loud in room 322. Also, Tim Hortons is in the same parking lot for convenience.

I cannot say enough about the front desk people. They are so helpful and so conscientious. We had left a bag behind and they were so efficient at locating it. Clean, convenient, great breakfast.

I can hear everything around me. It's an old building with thin walls. But the staff was great and everything was clean and convenient.

I known someone that works there. Half the rooms on the 2nd floor have bed bugs, and they're not doing much to fix it. If you know bed bugs it wont take long to spread to the whole place.

Came for the outdoor hockey game. Great staff and location is nearby plenty of restaurants and shops. Not as updated as other HI Express properties, but rooms are clean and comfortable.

Reasonable hotel on Albert Street. Hits the sweet spot for affordability and amenities, in my opinion. Nice sized room with the hotel bonuses I expect (bath and body works toiletries, mini fridge, comfy bed and linen) and some unexpected bonuses - free continental breakfast, bathroom fan separate from light switch, temperature control comes with an off switch, and the elevator is so quiet! I was worried when I saw my room was right beside the elevators, but pleased to report it did not impact my stay at all. Desk staff are courteous, helpful, and professional. The only thing that was making me consider a 4 star rating was the parking lot - small spaces and doesn't seem like enough for the number of rooms available, but I did always find a spot. Tough to navigate and the entrance off of Albert is EASY to miss. Maybe more signage would be better? All in all, pleasant stay and would recommend.

Photos are misleading seriously if you are thinking of staying here DO NOT TRUST the photos they are very misleading and the rooms are similar to a cheap motel!

Beware this hotel. Received my bill for one night and they added 20 calls long distance placed all within a minute to increase my bill by 30$.

Very disappointed with this hotel. The staff is very friendly, cleaning the room every day.the service is very good.tasty and hearty breakfast, but everything is very old and NEEDS RENOVATION! The air conditioning in the room is very noisy, often waking up at night when it is turned on or when it is turned off.for 4 nights we paid almost 600$ and I think that it is very expensive for this hotel.

So far the best Holiday Inn express that I've stayed at. Nice big room. Fantastic breakfast. Very friendly staff.

This is a nice hotel except not enough parking when almost full. If you can't get parking in hotel spaces then you have to park in R. H. A.parking spaces and need to be moved out of that parking space by 8 a.m. Especially Mon-Friday!
