Holiday Inn Express Yorkton East, an IHG Hotel

Older hotel, walls are paper thin. Do not expect much. Set the bar very low. Staff were friendly though.

Holiday Inn Expresses are always decent, safe hotels and the Yorkton followed suit. However, I found this one also beginning to get rundown and the overall cleanliness in the room and around the interior of the hotel lacking considering the brand name and price.

On the good side, the room size was good, there was a tiny fridge and microwave, small tv, plenty of free parking space, free breakfast, free coffee/tea all day, great for handicap accessibility and movement, and the staff was friendly and professional.

Beautiful hotel. Well kept and very friendly staff. We attended the Yorkton Film Festival and appreciated the hospitality.

Nice clean appt with a very well attended breakfast option. It was a bit hard to find as it's tucked back off the main road. I drove by twice

When I was packing to leave the hotel I was inclined to give a 4 stars but I changed my mind during my checkout. The hotel is “ok” but lack in maintenance. The room was clean but a lot of dirty spots and some hair at the toilet. Also the leaning looked like used and not changed from the previous customer. It was just my impression since was not iron and had some dirty spots, not sure. Worst case I slept in the other bed. What made the difference was Aeron, the guy at the reception the night I arrived. Amazing, professional, really made the difference and raised (that time) my reviews for 4stars. Using the gym in the morning was deception. There was no weights. I run for 30min listening a terrible noise from the treadmill (lack of maintenance or poor equipment). The keyfob for the gym door was not working so I needed wait for the reception open it. The deception was the atitude during the checkout. The lady at the front desk was vacuum her office and took 7min to talk with me. She was rude and kept talking when I was trying to ask her some question regarding the issue hotel had to give the receipt. I didn’t stay for the breakfast so I can’t review it. My final opinion: I am in this city every month for two days so I will try another hotel next time. The price for this one was not cheap and I expected more. People make difference for good and bad.

It was very comfortable, quiet hotel. At first when we first arrived I heard thumping and thought oh my it's going to be noisy but when everyone settled down it was nice and quiet. The fellow at the front desk was very helpful with helping with our Wi-Fi to recommending a great restaurant. This is a nice hotel and would recommend it to anyone having to stay in Yorkton.

Hotels (all) need to stop building out of wood. The noise through ceiling was brutal. Foot pounding. Shower head and kitchen faucet were corroded and not very functional. Bathroom drain barely emptied and very slow. Rm 313

Aaron the front desk guy was phenomenal, he had a great attitude and definitely made our stay here a memorable one. Highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Yorkton Saskatchewan

Housekeeping only made up one of the 2 beds. The bathroom counter was not cleaned. No fresh towels were left.
Breakfast wasn't great. The eggs were cold, the cinnamon buns were dry, and there were no salt shakers.
We won't be staying here again.

Great place for last minute stay know the guy that worked there he gave us a great deal and would recommend this great hideaway for any family to enjoy.the swimming and room was elegant.rave reviews ️️️?

The staff are friendly, helpful, and they make you feel right at home. One staff member even made the weather more pleasant for our stay.
