Holiday Inn Saskatoon Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Always great location downtown, use this hotel when I have early appmts in the mall or attending TCU, right across the street. Lots of room Large shower and bathroom and water pressure. Has good lighting in bathroom. Rest of king room has microwave, frig, table chairs, desk, hidabed sofa, and extra seating bench. Bed is very comfy as are pillows. Depending how you sleep it can be a bit noisy with sirens throughout the night. TV was decent size, but on volume kept going loud or soft. Only thing why the room got the 4 of 5 stars, is the poor lighting in the room, not enough lights. Plus, don't forget the $20 additional charge for the underground parking, increased from $15. IN RESPONSE to the hotel repLY, re TV volume that was wonky, I do understand the volume changes by the network.that was not the issue, the issue was definitely with the TV volume itself it would go normal then soft both during commercials and during the show, no, it was NOT the network.

Great rooms but even better service especially at the bar… great drinks and also amazing service especially from Tristan. 10/10 would recommend.

This hotel is a great location in downtown Saskatoon; close to loads of great restaurants, shopping, and TCU place if your event is there.
The rooms were spacious and quiet, the bed was clean but a little hard for my liking, but that is a big personal preference. There were no extra blankets, robes or the small things like a shower cap, etc in the room. Not sure why that is.
Pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. Parking is secure with a steep climb up but spots are right sized and plentiful.
Will definitely be back.just bring my own shower cap! Lol

I haven't stayed here, but my Husband and our Granddaughter were stuck in Saskatoon for a couple of days so they stayed here. When I came and picked them up it sure looked nice and clean. They were close to the Mall. The Room looked very nice and clean. My Granddaughter would Video Chat with me and the room and the Bathroom all looked Great. Only 1 Problem, after all was said and Done and Everyone was home. My Husband looked at his Receipt from the Hotel and there was a Charge of Over $100.00 and no reason What for and How Come. No No Response from The Hotel. So we will have to wait and more Phone Calling to do!

A professionally run hotel showcasing how hospitality should be done. Clean, modern and with all the amenities you want. Special shoutout to Laurie-Ann and Tristan at the Hub hotel bar. Amazing cocktails and local lore. A fantastic weekend experience.

Best location for visiting the city. Within walking distance of escape rooms, restaurants, the mall and the park

Complaint would be the regarding the staff in the restaurant/lounge. Very slow service in the morning and a not-so-friendly bartender in the evening.

This hotel is my go to when staying in Saskatoon. The desk staff are always super friendly and willing to help, they have an amazing restaurant, everything is very clean and well kept. They have several levels of indoor heated parking, although that does cost extra. A very short walk to the Midtown Plaza. The location makes it great for visiting anything downtown. Very nice hotel for a reasonable price. It will continue to be my go to when visiting Saskatoon

Bonita at the front desk provides the worst customer service. She is rude and extremely unhelpful. Hotel rooms are nice.

Bed extremely comfortable. Staff very obliging.
Convenient location. Parkade was a bonus for security. Only reason for 4 star - toilet paper rolls very far from toilet - tough for some people to reach. Sliding "barn door" for bathroom had no handle but that's likely the style. Otherwise, had a great stay here!

Nice hotel. Parking is a little tight. But nice to be right downtown easy access to mall and convention centre

Unbelievable hotel. Don't bother going to the terrible lounge downstairs. I've never encountered such a terrible server. Punch line, didn't even get a drink before leaving. Terrible

Spectacular hotel, clean, new, and very nice.
The steak sandwich was a disappointment but the breakfast was very good.
Would not hesitate to suggest this location to anyone. Very impressed.

Good location, parking available at hotel or at one of the many lots near it. Nice atmosphere in the pool and hot tub area (though on the smaller side). On site restaurant, however we didn't try it out. There is a great variety of snacks available at the front desk too though which we did take advantage of. Staff were great! Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was great, food was great and the rooms were very clean. Pool was also clean and very well kept. We stayed in one of the big penthouse rooms and it was so much fun! Even had a pool table!

Wouldn't accept complete reservation for lack of credit card and wouldn't cancel my reservation said I had to do it online.

Looking to be close to downtown and the night life then you love this place. The staff are very friendly. Rooms are clean and the dining/bar is great.

Great staff very friendly and helpful. The manager Adam, what a great guy! Quiet rooms (despite being downtown) I was well rested. Definitely recommend.

Exceptional customer service, clean comfortable rooms with beautiful views and very secure. The two things I would suggest is that some usb charger ports are added to lamps or somewhere in the room as I didn't have a converter so I had to get creative. Furthermore, I know it is downtown parking and that is expensive but I was disapointed that the cost for parking was not included in my fee. I would suggest that the hotel charges for parking included in your room and then offer a discount to customers that do not have cars once they get here. That way it is not a surprise cost. Loved my stay. Thank you!

Terrible stay. The workers allowed pool time for two-three families at a time and ensured our children would have the pool for the birthday party this Saturday and the children swam for 10 minutes and were told to get out. Crying children was an absolute mess.

Not family friendly, came for weekend to celebrate 4 year old birthday party and was kicked out of swimming after 15 mins. I was told week prior we didn't need to book pool time and now we apparently do. Someone's lying here and our family didn't appreciate it. Nothing posted ANYWHERE about this supposed booking.

Great location easy access to Midtown Mall. Great staff updated comfortable rooms. Great restaurant on sight with great waitress Isabel super friendly. Definitely would stay here again.

We visit this hotel for my toddler's swim lessons weekly. The staff is very friendly, facilities clean and lots of parking! We enjoying it alot.

Helpful desk staff, service in restaurant and lounge was top notch. Room was clean, good downtown location.

Gave away my room although it was paid for through Expedia.no call to ask if I was coming just gave it away and doubled there money. This is stealing is it not? Staff was not understanding in anyway nor did anything to help. I’d strongly advise to stay elsewhere the rooms and the hotel isn’t worth the money or the headache.

DO NOT STAY HERE Just got to Saskatoon, seeing Elton John in 3 hours.and they gave away our room 3 nights stay.already payed for and nothing. No refund no apologies nothing but rude service. Even tried to call to check on our room and no answer. I’d say. HUGE THUMBSDOWN TO THIS HOTEL.

Comfortable bed! At least my room was - 901, though the toilet needs to be re-bolted to the floor as it makes a noise when you sit on it.

Anyhow, nice place, I would recommend it!

Extremely unhelpful and not understanding about changing a stay, I was informed that even though I was only staying 1 night I would be charged for 6 nights.

This is always my first choice to stay at in Saskatoon. It is in a really nice location as it is close to the TCU Place, Midtown, and all the restaurants and bars downtown. The hotel is really nice with underground parking, clean rooms, and a restaurant/bar for drinks at night and breakfast in the morning.

It's ok. Clean! The bed was not comfortable. We had a King room and also used the pull out couch for our 3 year old. It was suitable for a child but I would've hated to have to spend the night on it. We were only provided 3 towels for 4 people in the room, which was annoying. No huge issues but my aching back is making me give this a 3 rather than 4 star rating.

Jameel Younan is a very good at what he does. He helped me with all my booking problems and help me get to my room as quick as possible.

Great stay - BUT prepare for amenities before arrival!

In SK for a conference at TCU Place and the organizers had a great rate at this IHG property.

BUT I didn’t know until I got here that they have FREE bicycle rental! And there are some beautiful paths by the river conservation area very close by. I didn’t bring proper clothes to take advantage - if you come here, plan ahead.

They even have cool guitar rentals at the front desk! I thought they were for show until the last day.

My room (I paid a very small amount to upgrade) was big, couch, seating area and microwave with a good sized fridge.

Love the many plugs in the room and good sized washroom with a beautiful sink.

Another big surprise was the hotel restaurant - a bar side that many conference goers appreciated for networking over libations each evening and a separate restaurant. See my pictures, it’s very bright and welcoming and the food was puzzlingly good. It’s a hotel, a chain hotel - I had a fresh chuck burger and the “beef barley” was so clearly fresh prepared. I never go to a restaurant twice but I did this time.

Clean and quiet place to stay. I don't like their parking entrance because it's on a very steep slope.

Used their conference rooms for hosting technical sessions. Staff was great to work with and very accommodating. Will continue to come back.
