This is my new favorite hotel. I came here for a weekend retreat. It was -51 with the windchill out. I didn't have to leave once to have everything I needed. On-site restaurant and pub, room service, pool and hot tub, liquor store and complimentary hot beverages in the lobby kept me happy.

The front of house staff were so accommodating the entire time with everything. They went above and beyond.

Check in and out was easy. The rooms are really nice, updated and kept in great shape. Beds and room were clean. Lately when staying in hotels, my bed is no longer made but not here. I had daily service.

The food in the restaurant was good and so was room service. My only issue was paying 25.00 for my breakfast. I had two eggs, toast, fruit and sliced tomatoes with a milk. They could have easily charged me for a classic breakfast, subbing out the meat for fruit and the tomatoes for the hashbrowns. Would have saved me lots. I dislike it when restaurants charge substitutions as add ons.

I will definitely be staying here again. It was spectacular!

This hotel is insanely loud. There were people partying in the hallways and children going wild in the room above us until 1 AM. I barely slept either night of the stay. When I complained to the hotel staff, little was done until I had complained three times. I was called by a manager after I had checked out and was offered 10% off my stay, which I accepted. I was told it would be refunded to my credit card, and they never even bothered to do this. It has been a month since this conversation which I have recorded on my phone and would post here if I could. Highest recommendation to avoid at all costs.

Edit: Apparently there is a new manager, as I received a phone call from an employee that indicated they were going to refund my credit card as promised. This has actually been done now and I have edited my score accordingly. Maybe the place has turned over a new leaf?

I would not recommend this hotel. Dirty and pool area unsafe. Been to tidier holiday inns.

Great place to stay. It was extremely affordable. The Perkins restaurant on-site had free meals for kids under 12, which was fantastic. Rooms were very spacious and clean. The pool is on the smaller side but it may have just felt that way because there was a group of about 15 kids and 15 adults for a sports event there while we stayed. Kids still had a blast on the water slides. No complaints.

Stayed here for a "staycation" with my wife and twins 4 year old sons. Key card for all rooms in the building were not working and we would have to get a cleaning staff or matience to come open the door for us, stuff happens whatever, we brushed it off. The next morning our bathroom floor was flooded from the plumbing under the sink and it wouldn't have been a big issue but my wife makeup bag was on the floor and was ruined along with some make up. Went to the front desk to get a ahold of matience again, with no luck. Seen the matience guy after searching the hotel, he came and confirmed that their plumning was leakonh and informed the front desk, Have been waiting four days for a manager to phone me back as I don't feel I should pay full price for a king suite room with another king bed.

Check in time is 3pm, we arrived at 3: 45pm and were told the room wouldn't be ready for 30-45 minutes. We came back at 5pm (1 hr 15 min later) and were told the room would be another 20-30 minutes. We waited in the lobby and it was another 45 minutes until we finally got the key (5: 45pm). We asked about getting some type of a discount but none was offered.
The heater wasn't working in our room, or the jacuzzi tub. Maintenance had to fix them. The bathroom was grimy with broken tiles.
Room keys didn't work and had to have them reprogrammed twice in 1 day.
The pool area was so dirty it was borderline disgusting. Toilet had overflowed and wasn't cleaned up, hotel hot tub was not working. The pool was working but also under repair. The maintenance people had the doors open to the equipment room and the entire area smelt like gas fumes and pool deck was muddy from everyone wearing boots on and out.
No towels were available due to staff shortages.
We were supposed to have 2 breakfasts included with out stay as per the room we booked directly on the IHG site, however we were not given coupons for this. By the time we got it figured out the next morning it was past 10am and the restaurant wouldn't accept the coupons.no refund on that either.
Overall the hotel is in poor condition and ran down. Especially for the price. We've stayed at this location many times over the past 5 years and each time it gets worse and worse. We won't be coming back.

Bed was comfy, clean and room was pet friendly. Unfortunately the kids were looking forward to swimming but the pool area, pool and hot tub were all freezing and the water slide wasn’t working.

I’m a Platinum member for IHG. I checked in very late (1am) and took me a while to get settled and to bed. 11am on the dot the cleaning staff was banging to get in. 1 minute later the front desk was calling me asking what time I’m leaving. I’m allowed 4pm checkout, just not at this place I guess. Terrible customer service.

The hotel and staff were great. The room was spacious and clean. However, when my family and I were leaving, we witnessed the maintenance staff suffocating a sleeping bat with a garbage bag. It was really upsetting to see, and hear, as it was squeeking and squirming in the bag, under a broom, pinned to the ground. It had just been sleeping peacefully, not harming anyone. Next time, choose to be kind, Holiday Inn.

The rooms are very clean and you feel at home as soon as you walk in. You can see some age in them though so I gave 4/5. I can't say enough about the staff. So friendly and will bend over backwards to make sure you are comfortable, from the front staff to the cleaning staff, they're all great. Finally, the location. Perkins is attached, a bar, along with an off-sale liquor store. I stay here everytime I'm traveling between MB and AB.

Tonight October 3rd, 2022, we went for dinner and had Alexa look after us. All I wanted was a garden salad with a grilled chicken breast. It wasn’t on the menu, but she made it work. She was attentive and super pleasant. As a server myself, I knew that she was new, and she was wonderful! Kudos to her. We all start our journey as new workers in the workforce and Alexa did not disappoint us. We hope that we have her again tomorrow night. She was a gem Please pass along our rave to Alexa, as she earned it with her charming personality.

Clean rooms, personable staff at the front desk. All around a great experience once again for our stay in Regina, SK

The hotel was under some renovation with roof repairs but we were given a room well away from the noisy work. The smiling reception staff were very quick to check us in and invite us into their hotel. Of NOTE, our AC unit was in need of cleaning and was noisy. When I requested a cleaning, JASON, the Maintenance Technician inspected the unit and decided we deserved a brand new unit. It was removed and replaced within 30 mins with a brand new unit and wished us a pleasant stay while apologizing for the inconvenience. Thank you Jason and all involved.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Surprisingly very quiet given busy location. Fitness centre was impressively large and well-maintained equipment. We really appreciated the Perkins breakfast voucher - great idea!

Worst Holiday Inn I’ve stayed in ever! Over priced, no breakfast, slow poorly functioning elevators, and WiFi didn’t work and was charged $10 money than the price I was told at the front desk. Avoid this one, better to just sleep in your car.

Absolutely gorgeous and clean hotel. Upon arrival we were upgraded to which was lovely. Nency was an absolute pleasure: she was friendly and extremely welcoming!

Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff. A bit on the expensive side, especially since no breakfast is supplied. Amenities similar to other hotels with a pool, hottub and water slide. Other than the name, there really isn't a good reason for the extra price. Would stay again, but only if cheaper, comparable hotels were not available (as was the case this weekend).

Couldnt get a room at my usual hotels here, so called the HI. Put on hold and listened to dead air for 15 min. Thinking maybe i was disconnected, i called back. Waited 5 more minutes and finally booked my room. Checked in. Forgot deodorant, went to front counter and didn't have. No big deal, lots of places like this. Asked where breakfast room was he points me down the hall. I realize it's just the attached restaurant. Go back to the front desk and ask if they do a continental breakfast. Nope. Breakfast voucher for restaurant? Says it should have been included with the room, checks my room record, says no, it's not included. So 130 a night plus tax, no continental breakfast, no voucher? I'll pick somewhere else next time I'm in Regina.

I stayed here a few nights, it was 2 beds one pullout, I stayed on the pullout which was comfy and it had a pool.

The best hotel we have been to so far, my family and I. For a great price, the kids had a good time with the indoor swimming pool and the independent restaurant who offers a tasty breakfast for the whole family. If you go there, you will also enjoy the comfortable beds and the convenience of a pull-out bed couch if you have more kids (available in a few rooms only).

Horrible experience.
I booked for 3 night with family, breakfast was including for everyone and written clearly on booking.
The front desk refuse to offer free breakfast, even i showed my booking.
I asked to speak to General manager and she instead of helping canceled the booking.

Would never stay there.

The rooms were clean, the Staff was very accommodating and as I didn't know about the new breakfast policy the front desk was happy to provide more $5 Breakfast coupons upon request. Overall a Great stay in a friendly and relaxed environment.

This place I visited around a month ago with my family via a third-party website. Breakfast wasn't included (even though it said on website). And customer service was good but I would recommend you go stay at a competitor. Personally after 2 nights I went and stayed for the rest of my trip at Best Western Plus.

My stay here was amazing for the fact I came from Alberta and have not been in a pool or hot tub for over a year however was disappointed to find a used Condom under my bed. Thinking cleaning could be more thorough.

Tried staying here for one night while in the city. We called ahead to see what the deposit would be by paying debit when they continued to tell us it would only be $50 we decided this would be the best place to stay. Once we got there the lady wouldn’t let us speak to her manager and we’re going to charge us $300 per room for a deposit. There was not only horrible service but the lady at the front desk didn’t know what she was doing. 10/10 would never stay here

We received a noise complaint at 1am. Claiming it was our second when it was not. All mean while the people above us were stomping around NONSTOP. And their child was screaming and crying and we heard them screaming back at thw child. The hotel was not busy so why would they place people above others.and not stagger the guests.

EDIT: In fact the stay is always to my satisfaction, therefore I changed my review from 1 to 3 stars. But that messages sent through a "contact the property" link on hotels.com website are ignored and not answered by the hotel, but the hotel uses this channel to sent welcome messages (most likely automated) is a no-go. As a business, I must make sure that my staff is answering customer communication. Not answering email is equal to not picking up the phone. Unfortunately, many businesses are not aware of this simple fact.

Original feedback:
It's not about the stay this time. It's about the desk staff's incapability to answer an email within 36 hours, regardless of 2 reminders. We only had a bad experience once that we reserved pool time, and when we arrived the pool was booked out. I don't want to have this again and put in my pool reservation together with the booking, but I am requesting a written confirmation (email). Obviously, hotel staff in 2021 is not trained to answer an email.
