Houston Pizza

Ordered online, pizza was mediocre, definitely not up to normal standard from Houston Pizza in town. Also missed the poutine I ordered. Hard to call them out on it when the receipt they sent is just an open food charge for more than the 15" pizza and sauces I received though.

First time here. Pizza was good, a little light on the cheese. Beer was cold, Service was very good. Lots of TVs ti view. Will go back for certain.

Just picked up my order from Houston’s and found this long dark hair in the caesar salad right after I opened the lid. This is unacceptable when you’re paying over $10 for a small salad.

I've only been there three times and they managed to forget to prepare the meal twice. An apology sufficed the first time but fool me once. I won't be returning. Which is unfortunate because their pizza is top shelf.

Noisy, salad was poorly constructed. Pizza was good.learn how to make real Mediterranean salad properly.

I went here yesterday for supper with my family & my poutine gravy tasted of raw flour. It really sucks cause I loved the poutines there and maybe it was an off night but there was absolutely no beef taste at all, it was very thick and you could taste the raw flour as if it wasn't mixed or prepared correctly. The service staff seemed overwhelmed by the dinner rush so I felt if I sent this dish back or complained I would be waiting even longer for my food and just be an inconvenience to the wait staff. Please taste the gravy when you make it. The clubhouse it came with was good. I still tipped as I know it isn't the waitress' fault. Normally I don't leave reviews but I felt disappointed with my last experience because I loved coming here for the poutines.

We were seated quickly. A waitress came quickly to take our drink order. Then another waitress came to take our drink order. I guess it was a waitress name mix up. We had to wait close to an hour for our food. My burger and fries were decent. My wife had the stuffed chicken. The chicken it self was cold. The mixed vegetables were not fresh. The were a mix like you would get from a frozen bag. We were never asked if we wanted another drink or how the food was.

For drinks, cheese toast and a 13" pizza. $70 is a bit steep. In their defense, really good pizza.

Place is great, always have a drink special and an appy special. 7 days a week

We ordered pizza for the family tonight at our favourite pizza place, Houston Pizza in the East end of Regina. We ran into a small snag with our order but the manager and their team went out of their way to make it right. The manager even personally drove the correct order to our place. I’m extremely satisfied with how the Houston Pizza team gave us an awesome customer experience. We will definitely be continuing to order from here!

Food and drink are really good and the specials are priced well. But if you sit at the bar you constantly get wafts of sewage smell. Really off putting

We read the reviews and decided to try this place. The food was very disappointing! We ordered dry rib entrée and kid chicken finger. Those were like pre procced food from Macain's frozen box! Fries were similar to MacDonald's, but more salty. They were brought to us within 5 mins of ordering! The trigger point for me to leave a review was the side salad that was included with entrée. It was barely fitting in a 6 inches side dish, with a paste of Greek dressing and sprinkle of feta cheese. The vegetable is not even cut properly, seem like the chef just grab from a salad bag at Walmart. Still, they charged us 4 dollar extra because it was a "Greek salad", not just a mall food court quality salads with Greek dressing.when reasoning, they blame us in public for not reading the menu carefully. I would gladly pay good money for a decent upgrade Greek salad, not some vegetable with Greek dressing. There are photos posted by other reviewers, (some left good reviews) please pay attention to the salad for yourself. Was that a mall food court quality salad with Greek dressing, or a upgrade Greek salad?

Like buying anything on amazon or booking a hot vacation. Please read the bad reviews first! Those experience are quite often, REAL! I have lived in Regina for more than 20 years. Getting used to food quality at local restaurants such as Trifon's and BP, We are very disappointed about the food quality at Houston Pizza Quance. I wouldn't comment on their pizza cause I haven't tried. However, I think decent restaurants should at the bare minimum, get their fries and salad right. The fries and salad were too disappointing. About the dry rib and chicken finger, they were too dry and too salty. My son said he had was better ones at the rink. I think we can get better ones from the costco freezer!

The owner said he has been running the business for 57 years. I guess he must have a lot of friends who got used to his mall food court quality food and at the same time propping up his business with good reviews. I can't be one of them. I stand by my experience and my opinion. Restaurant business is tough! I am astonished how someone can run a restaurant that looks decorated, charge high but serve food that are no better than mall food court quality!

While I am not sure how common it is to "crave" a salad I definitely do crave Houston's Greek salad on a regular basis - I love it! The pizza, ribs and chicken fingers are also incredible. We are so lucky to have Houston in Regina.

Let me tell you about Houston Pizza on Quance. The drinks are cheaper than anything you'd pay anywhere in the country, bar none. The food is worth twice as much as you'd pay at any other local eatery. The biggest draw is the people they employ. Not a night goes by that you won't feel welcome, at home, or amongst the greatest of company. This is hands down one of the best places to spend your time whether you're downtrodden, or celebrating the highest of highs. I recommend this locale with the highest of commendations.

Pretty decent place all around. Good Ceasar salads. The tossed dry ribs are great lots of flavour selections but price is to high when they aren't on special

Has the portion size changed for Houston Pizza? We were very dissatisfied with the Pizza we ordered yesterday. The toast was thicker than pizza. This is a ham, salami, onion large pizza.

With the removal of certain items off the menu such as baked potatoes I did not enjoy my dining experience as much as I could they have changed suppliers which has changed the taste of a lot of their products which is very disappointing because this is a staple restaurant in regina and I feel that the restaurant is not what it used to be it doesn't have the same charm and luster that it once did I do understand that change does happen but drastic changes in the last 3 years have definitely taken its toll on Houston's quality of food Overall the dining experience was pleasant due to the severe Who was extremely pleasant and personable

We went to Houston Pizza to watch riders game. Atmosphere was amazing so as food and $5 beer!

Wish they had the Sunday Buffet. Food was wonderful, with healthy portions and enough to take home for a snack.

The pizza was delicious and the portions were large. My only disappointment was that my fries tasted a little old when we finally got them.

We haven’t ordered from Houston in a really long time due to a bad experience! So we thought we’d give them another try! What a waste of $$$! Crust was tasteless and gummy on the bottom! Sauce was bland! Caeser salad, all you can taste is garlic! Ribs were mediocre at best! Ground beef topping tasted like it was boiled in water and flavoured with black pepper! I guess we’re done with Houston! Should have learned the first time!

We decided we would try this place as we are not from the area and were passing through on our way home and we don't have one where we are from.

We got there around 4: 45 pm on a monday and it was not very busy. We were pleasantly greeted and seated.

We ordered our drinks and about 10 mins later ordered our food.

The caesar salad was drenched in dressing. My husband typically loves a saucy salad but even he said it had way too much dressing (we kept these complaints to ourselves). He enjoyed his pizza though and we found that the salad and small pizza option was great.

I ordered the chicken nugget meal as a backup plan for my toddlers and fries (well done). They did not come well done whatsoever but again i kept this complaint to myself.

We ordered the kids pizza off the kids menu and asked for pineapple and bacon. When the food arrived I asked about the bacon as it looked like ham and the waitress (Kate) said that is automatically what you get if you dont specify as thats what they do. We kindly advised we wouldn't know this as this was our first time there and they should have asked us instead of just assuming we knew. She offered to make us a new one and we politely declined as the toddlers were hungry and grumpy and we didn't want to cause a scene.

Then the manager came and said the same thing. Again, we politely declined and told them we wouldn't know this as we were not locals.

Its at this point the waitress stopped coming around leaving us sitting there waiting for refills on our drinks and our bill.

Then we get the bill. We noticed that we were charged full price for everything in addition to the orange juices that we had ordered (most places you get a drink with the kids meal). Again, we were not notified that they only serve "pop" to kids and the orange juice would be an extra charge.

We sat for almost 30 minutes waiting for the bill and to pay and it took about 45 minutes for the food to come which seemed excessively long given they weren't busy.

Would not recommend! Only reason they got 2 stars instead of 1 is because their pizza was good.

My wife and I ordered a three topping bacon green pepper and mushroom pizza and greek salad. Seems quality is failing. Almost not toppings on pizza and no veggies other than tomato on greek salad. Hope they review their quality and offer better.

Dinner for 4. Pizza was OK but much better second day. Caesar salad was OK. Garlic bread for 4 people- 2 brick pieces of bread put out for the birds maybe. 403

The server that we had was the best I have ever had. Even though it was a busy night with the Rider game, our server provided thoughtful recommendations on food and every interaction we were greeted with a smile and helpful comments that felt genuine. Many servers can be nice and helpful but this lady made us feel like she genuinely wanted us to enjoy our experience there as if she had us at her own home.

Good pizza but not worth for what you get. Tries to pinch you for every penny one has. $65 for a pizza and they demand 2.50 for Parmesan on the side for something that should already be provided with a pizza? For ANYONE looking at ordering pizza buy it from the website as they charge 10$ less compared to calling in. 15” all dressed is 55.49 taxes in vs 65.13 calling in and paying in store?

The shrimp tacos were fantastic, would definitely recommend! Our waitress Lindsey was an absolute delight! Great experience!

Food was great, but the place stunk like old people who don't shower. Had to change my clothes when I got home. Food was great, other patrons sucked. Would recommend takeout.

The worst service I have ever experienced.  I don't even know where to start!  We were a large group (12) that booked a head for lunch, we arrived on time, the restaurant was mostly empty.  It took 15 minutes for the server to ask us about drinks.  It took 40 minutes until our order was taken.  The server was busy serving 3 other tables that came in after us.  Some of which had food before she had even taken our order!  One of us went to the manager and asked why we weren't being served, the server interrupted saying "I was coming right now! ".  She was rude, rolled her eyes at us and snatched our bills out of our hands when we were paying.  I just can't believe how unapologetically rude she was!  I've never had service like that anywhere!  I won't name her but you know who you are.  You missed out on some really good tips because of your bad behaviour! We arrived at 11: 40 am and didn't get our food until 12: 45 pm, we had to rush and some of us didn't even finish our meals, because we had to get back to work.   It was the strangest and most unpleasant experience I've ever had in a restaurant . The worst thing about this is that the manager, who was observing then ducking behind a wall, didn't even come and apologize for the long wait or the bad service. I was going to call them today but thought since they didn't care while we were there why would they care after.  I will never go back there again.  They don't deserve to wear the "Houston Pizza" logo,  I will be sending a copy of this review to their corporate office as well.  Bad behaviour should not go unchecked!

The pizza and wings really hit the spot. We also ordered Caesar salad which was swimming in dressing for some reason. Other items like the Greek salad and garlic shrimp were great.

The service was fast and the food was very good. Price was very reasonable especially in these times. Though went to order off of skip and the prices were +5-10 bucks more then dine in

We ordered honey garlic wings and they were phenomenal. The flavour was really bold and the chefs made sure every wing was coated generously in the sauce. Thank you!

Everything was way to salty One of our group had an allergy and the cooks missed it even thought it was noted on the order.food was just average

This is my go to restaurant/ bar with my mom on Fridays. Staff is excellent and the food is always hot and fresh! Gotta love the $5 schooners!

Our group of 8 had a fantastic meal. The service was over the top. There were NO mistakes made with the orders. The waitress was more than willing to accommodate our individual requests and take a few pictures for our Celebration of Life.

This place has always provided great food and the staff is always excellent.

My Dad and Step-mom always came out on a Saturday night for supper here and the staff room extra time to chat.

Love love love their pizza. For some reason, Hill Avenue location has always tasted better - not sure why. But either way, can’t go wrong with Houston’s!

Pizza is excellent here. We enjoyed the Caesar Sal. The dressing they use is very tasty. We stop by once everytime we come to Regina. Service was good, prompt and helpful.

Had the chicken parmesean it was terrible wasnt even made properly was just slapped together for $23 and the spaghetti was the most vial tasting noodles ive ever had couldnt even eat it.

Got food here tonight. We came from out of town. Had a very nice girl on the phone Amy. And when food got to is there was a small problem I called and got wonderful help. Shout out to Marianne for the help. Food was so good. Service was awesome thank you for making a very tired lady's night.

Had to wait for a quite a while as the kitchen was slammed with take-out orders, but the pizza was still good.

I always LOVE going to Houstons pizza loveable servers, excellent friendly servers always smiling and generally caring people. Such a light atmosphere. And even better food

Great service and very clean, the only issue i have is that my garlic toast was quite old other then that it was a perfect experience.

If you're in Saskatchewan, this place has to be on your to-eat list! This is a fantastic family-owned restaurant that has more than just pizza! The "Regina style" pizza is a unique twist to a classic meal, and everything is made in-house and you can definitely tell! I had the best garlic toast, crispy but also fluffy and with the best real garlic butter. The pizza meats were deli quality and the dough is made from scratch. Even the Caesar dressing was made in-house!

This location has a warm atmosphere and a huge bar/lounge with a great drink selection. Staff was kind and very personable. Will definitely be returning!

Have been a loyal customer and loved Houston Pizza forever but the last few years I have noticed the pizza sizing getting smaller and the price going up up. Now today, the toppings and thickness of toppings changed and it’s now this skinner pizza. What’s going on? The Caesar salad was soggy and way too much dressing. So disappointed. How can I continue to support Houston Pizza when you are changing the reasons why I always came back for more.

How can you go wrong with pizza and dry ribs from here. It was so awesome. The take out service was great, even though there were about 10 people all waiting. Not one person was complaining. I'll be back.

I will never come back here the food was terrible looked like my fish and chips come from a Safeway box disgusting the pizza was doughy raw on the bottom.just a terrible experience this was houston pizza east regina

I did not like the pizza. I wouldn't order on a brunch day, I ordered the pizza to go.
It tasted like oregano. It was a vegetarian No sauce, I asked for extra, under cooked I asked for well done.

I just picked up 2 souvlaki meals to bring home tonight for a quick supper. The salad and fries were good, but the souvlaki was inedible. It was tough, stringy, cold, and super fatty. I think it was made hours ago! We couldn’t eat it. It was disappointing. I’ll stick to pizza next time.

Due to Covid, a competitor that has pizza hasn't opened their dining room. So be it, craving pizza last night, so Houston's it was. Best pizza ever! Mind you, had to decide what topping (or toppings) I wanted! Service was awesome and the pizza hit the spot (and the dry ribs for an appetizer were a nice touch). Keep up the awesome work!

Cheap and good portions. Excellent for friends and to have a nice family casual outing. The caesar salad is always fresh and neat flavors.

Always a good time at this restaurant. The only thing, I don’t like is their tables. They feel clammy and gross all the time even though they are clean, still not a good feeling. Brings the whole experience down. To bad I like this place, but spend a couple bucks to refinish their tables come on.

Very slow and poor service. And the prices are ridiculous for what you get. Not impressed at all! Won't be back!

Always spectacular! Houston's never disappoints! The original Houston Pizza was by my Fathers' drugstore & the great food back in the 1960's is still great food now, especially the PIZZA! I have lived out of province for 20 years & always come back to the Houston brothers!

Cheap beer and great service, the bartenders and servers are fast and efficient with there orders.

Brunch was ok. Lots of different options! A little pricey. Service wasn't the greatest. Our server put someone else's dirty dishes down on our table in front of where my son was sitting, as he took payment from me. That was not cool at all!

Very disappointed in my order. We decided to pick up from this location instead of our regular location and the food was terrible. Fries were cold and soggy. No dip given for chicken fingers. Salad was soggy. Threw out most of the meal. Overall was not happy, Will not return to this location.

Poor service in the Pub, waited 20 mins before waitress came to the table after we sat down. Decided not to order food due to the poor service. She walked away while one of my friends was trying to order food. Three of us were going to order but we decided to go somewhere else. Usually service is better.

We waited over 2 hours to get our meal but to be fair, they discounted our meal. The food has always been enjoyable.

Since the south end Brewster's closed, we've been looking for a new Sunday brunch buffet - we found it at Houston Pizza! Big selection, fresh (nothing is dried out or gross), AND they have perogies! SO GOOD!

Worst experience of my life. It was the night of my boyfriends prom and I ate the chicken Parmesan Alfredo pasta here at lunch time. 1 hour later I was in the bathroom throwing up all night. I would never go there again. The chicken wasn’t even cooked all the way through.

Food's always been great here, there's lots of seating in the main room, and the ceil is high so you don't feel crowded. Been going here for years and will continue to do so.

Went there Saturday night.service was ok.really slow.waited 1 hour and 20 mins for my food.to find out our food was giving to the wrong table.only good thing was the manager came and apologized.offered us something dry ribs.other then that food was good service was horrible.

My husband and I have been going to this Houston Pizza location for years. Marshall one of the managers always has a smile on his face and starts a genuine conversation. Then there is Alex our server she provides great customer service everytime. She is quick to top up our drinks and makes sure our food is up to our standards! Food portions are big and taste great! Thanks Houston Pizza!

Messed up my order, food wasn’t prepared properly. Managers completely lied to me with the promise of resolving this issue. Not sure where they come up with the idea as the best pizza in Canada!

Ordered the garlic parmesan pizza wedges with house dressing on the side. It came out undercooked and there was a large amount of oil and grease at the bottom making everything wet and mushy. Absolutely disgusting. Wasn’t even asked how my food tasted I just got it boxed up, paid and left. My waitress looked like she hated her job.

Food was ok but Servers dropped used utensils on floor and proceeded to walk over them 16 times instead of picking them up.

It's a busy place but family-friendly. They serve the thick, layered style of pizzas Canadians love oh so much. Lots of choices and the food is always well prepared.

BUT, the Jukebox doesn't play outside on the patio! Oops, forgot to mention that HUGE point for me!

The pizza is great. I ordered the dry ribs plate and they were over done, and what happened to the great lunch menu with reasonable prices.

Great pizza (Mrs. Eats' loves the crust and sauce) and we both LOVE their Caesar salad. Fast service and great staff. Get the family meal for a great price.

This was our "regular" while attending the university. The bartenders were always awesome, it always closed late, and the specials were always cheap and fillings. The best part about this spot was the little known secret that their schooners were $5 everyday. It was nice to walk in with $30 bucks, let the bartenders know you were going to get tipsy for cheap, and just hang out. Staff never bothered us, and on several occasions they sat with us when things were slow. Awesome place, cannot recommend enough for younger adults as a place to have a drink or two.

Always end up here for special occasions (mothers and fathers day). It is usually quite busy but the staff are attentive and efficient at getting customers in and out.

Wait times for your actual supper were 40 min inside the restauarant.then veal was so hard fork would not go thru it.over all bad

We were put into a booth that had no springs or stuffing in the seat and felt like our chins were in the table. The food was good. Ask for a table with chairs avoid the booths.
