Indian Head Campground

We stayed at this campground for the first time, but it won’t be the last time. I was impressed with the service and the washroom had a big shower and a tub. It was very clean and nicely done up. We had a pull-thru that was very roomy and they had the nicest and biggest fire pit I’ve ever seen and we’ve been to lots of campgrounds across Canada and the U. S. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Very nice camp ground, right next to the train tracks. First time here - entrance comes up on the left with no signage. Stupid us - we drove right by it. Beautiful attractive iron gate for entrance - a little tight with big rigs making the turn. Seems to be a well organized layout with lots of trees. Pull throughs must be at least 100 feet long. WiFi very good. No OTA channels. Get yourself a wrist band if going to the pool (no charge). Seems like a very nice place for family's. Gates close at 9: pm - get yourself a code to get back in.

This is a very nice campground. The staff are awesome. They also take you to your site. The grounds are well maintained and clean. There is a pool and two laundry facilities a playroom for the wee ones and a fully equipped games room for the older kids. The spacious showers are amazing and very clean. The wifi is better than most campgrounds as well.

Wow, wow, wow! We travel from Alberta to Quebec every summer and finding a good campground isn't easy!

This is likely the best campground we've been in a long while. Conveniently located close to Highway 1 (but not too close!), very friendly staff, brand new showers in very spacious washrooms with tiles and glass doors (not those small showers with plastic curtains!). Large pool, game room, all services including Wifi (which was pretty fast too!), laundry, etc.

We like to walk around the seasonal area and people were friendly and really looked happy - I was just "that close" to be invited for a beer! LOL!

This is a real cool campground. RV sites are very spacious with some great fire pits. They have converted an old grain elevator into washrooms with showers and one even has a big bathtub! The upper level is a games room with lots of different games but no pool table. Nice stire and real nice staff.

Just want to say l would recommend this campground to anyone l give you guys a A+ for everything and specially the bathroom they were so clean and nice love it will be back for sure 5 stars and plus for me

We really liked this location. It was super clean, loads of amenities, especially for kids. And beautiful, with lots of trees and flowers.

It's like a walled city or a concentration camp. The dog park is locked up inside like fort Knox. Why have a dog park when it's not accessible to the public. Very disappointed

Absolutely beautiful campground. Very obvious the work and care that they put into this place. Great amenities, gorgeous pool. Everything is immaculate. I'd give it a 5 star rating, but through no fault of the owners and staff, the flies and wasps were horrible! Lol. Really, 5 star treatment.

Really awesome campground for a couple nights along the highway. Amazing washrooms, great little store, nice sites! Very quiet, family oriented with a pool, games room and laundry on site.

We really enjoyed the couple of days we spent here. It's a quiet park - surprisingly quiet for being right off the highway. There's a train or 2 that go by daily, but they don't bother me much.

The park is well laid out with spacious sites, great water pressure & gorgeous washrooms.

The pool is a nice touch, however it wasn't much pool weather while we were there, so we didn't actually use it - but it's nice to have the option.

Overall, very happy with this park. Especially for a roadside spot, it might be one of the best.

Indian head campground is Highly recommended! The staff is very helpful & personable. The campground itself is beautiful, the sites have trees between for privacy, the grounds are very well kept and the many facilities are extremely clean. The showers are like a 5 star hotel! You even get escorted to your site!

Very nicely kept secluded campground just off Hwy 1 with inground pool. Staff is pleasant & helpful. Worth the extra cost to go for 50 amp pull through just for the site size.

Excellent spot. Lot of full-time residents but everything very clean and orderly. Great check - in with lots perfect I formation. Way better bathrooms with showers than you have at home. Two with tubs too.

The hosts were extremely helpful and very informative about the local sites and amenities. The facilities were very clean, loved the bath rooms (actual bath tubs and showers available)! My kids loved the play house (gaming station as well as games and table tennis) and pool. It had so much to offer our whole family. Would love to come camp here the next time we are in the area.

We were driving home from B. C.to Toronto when we stopped here for a night. We usually arrive a little later after closing time and have the gate code ready then entre and set up on our own. But when we tried numerous times to get their code, the would not give it to us. But when we entered the camp, they said that the emergency code was 2019. How ridiculous! Why tell us the code now when you could have just told us a few hours ago? The next morning my son went to the front desk asking for rubber bands. Instead he got a: "You do know that you are past checkout time. Right? " How ridiculous! It was only 5 minutes after checkout time when my son came back to our camper! When I confronted the woman about the situation, she said that that spot was reserved and that she was going to move us so we could use the pool. We never said anything about the pool, and we could also see rows of empty sites in front of us. Not like ours had some kind of special view. Never coming back again! Not recommended.

I was delivering product at campground. The place is clean, well managed. Nice get away from the city, I would think.

An excellent campground! Very clean with great amenities. The owners are also incredibly kind and thoughtful, and went out of their way to provide me with some help. Definitely recommend staying here!

Charmant camping. Vastes terrains, pull through de 100pieds disponibles, beaucoup d’arbres, super propre, excellent accueil.

Nicely kept campground. The bathrooms and showers are the show stopper here, no question. Glass showers and even tubs which is great for young children. All facilities kept very clean.

However, the trains. They mostly run at night. Sometime we were awoke 4 times. The kids were mostly able to sleep through it but even with ear plugs we were up multiple times with them.

I personally didn't find the staff overly welcoming or warm. Not rude but no warm and fuzzies.

Very secure park with lots for the kids to do. Fully fenced and locked gates after 9pm. BUT they also lock lots of the other buildings like the laundry room. Pool is small but a nice option for being right there. They have a volleyball net with volleyball, soccer nets with balls and a full playground.

Mostly seasonal campers, with lots of dogs. They didn't seem to be a problem though.

My husband and I are staying as guests of seasonal campers, we could not be more impressed and delighted with this campground! So many things for kids to do, swimming, kids playroom that has air, awesome playground, a wonderful store with snacks and treats and so much more. The bathrooms are stunning beyond belief, new, showers are huge, and a tub available for kiddos as well. All amenities are included in the overnight fees! We are very experienced campers and to date we have never seen a campground so wonderful! Hope to visit here anytime we are in the area!

We are seasonal campers for a number of years now and love it! Facilities are clean and staff are very friendly. Would recommend especially for campers with kids.

It really does sound silly when they don't take tents because of the corona virus. Especially when the place is most likely 80 percent full of rv's, families, kids, playground etc. I'm one person walking across Canada, and since Vancouver this is the 1st place I've been denied.in a business sense I DONT recommend this place. Too bad nice town

The place is so great. Very well maintained. All of the facilities weren't open yet but loved everything about. Will be back this summer.

Awesome campground with great amenities. Heated pool, 10/10 washrooms, large pull through sites, fire pits, playground area, store, friendly helpful staff! A place to call home

This is our 2nd year as seasonal campers at Indian Head Campground. We absolutely love it here! The owners are fantastic, campground well maintained, bathrooms are nicer than the ones we have at home! The pool is also a big draw for our kids. Highly recommend!

They have excellent campsites that are large and level. Wifi was good and also they have 50amp power at sites which is hard to find at campgrounds in smaller towns. Office people were very friendly and helpful

It was so awesome.the staff were very nice. There is so many fun things to do like swim, go in the games room, and play at the park.

Won't be camping here, Rottweilers are not allowed. Really disappointing to ban the breed like that

The staff r great facility was great and clean. The problems r wifi and cost of laundry 2 expensive.

Fantastic place to spend a weekend. They owners a extremely accommodating and friendly. Store is a bit expensive but that is to be expected.
I will recommend this little jem to everyone.

This place has everything you need. Everyone here was super friendly and helpful, the pool is great, there is so much for the kids! Would love to come back

This campground is the gem of the prairies! A little too close to the CPR tracks but very well run, complete with a heated swimming pool and games room for the kids. It won't disappoint you!

Such an amazing campground, lots to do and fun for everyone. The new games room and toddler play room is an awesome addition!

Very nice campground with really good amenities. Would get 5 stars if the train tracks weren't so close. You will be woken up at night by the train horns.

Extremely nice hosts. Very well maintained campground. The pull-through sites are long and wide. Even the largest RVs will have no problem. The pool is not Olympic sized but is well suited for the campground. There's a playground, volleyball net along with other lawn games. They have a game's room with 4 different systems and games. There's a laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers. (At a small cost per load) They are working on a second one. The washrooms and showers could use a little updating but with all that they are doing, I'm sure that's on the list. There's a small convenience store with basic needs and the usual treats as well as a good selection of ice cream. We will be back next year. Thanks for a great stay, see you next year.

Very clean facilities, well kept grounds, and excellent wifi. Attentive staff. So why only 2 stars? It's way overpriced for what it is, at least for tents. I paid $37 for one night for a no power tent spot when I was cycling through. I camped at similar type places in similar sized towns for $15-$20. Campground is right next to the highway and train tracks so it's loud, especially with the train horn. Only one building with washrooms/showers. Bit of a hike from most sites. For that price they could place a porta-potty near the tent sites in case you need to go at night. And some guy powered up a loud gas lawn mower to cut the grass by his trailer at 9 am! Really? !

We often stay here, and we live right in the town of Indian Head! It is a fantastic facility, clean and the mature sites are well treed and maintained. The large fully serviced sites will accommodate the largest RV, or the smallest.
It is like a "community within a community"! Our grandchildren love the nice playground and wonderful pool. The recent addition of a larger office and confectionery is just one more plus.
The owners and staff are knowledgeable, polite and professional, always ready to help.
Value for money is exceptional here, and we look forward to our next visit.

My favourite RV park on our trip to the Stampede, we stayed twice and I wanted to move to Indian Head. 5 star
Wonderful park. Very well kept, clear, bright lots of flowers. Wonderful staff very friendly. Lots of trees and a concrete pad for bbq and chairs. Pool though we didn't use sounded like kids having great time. Bean bag games they provide bags very close to Indian Head the town ten minutes walk to down town. WiFi not bad compared to some we've been to. No TV if you have Antena but you're here to camp highly recommended

Very poor and unacceptable customer service by manager /owner. Made reservations for an unseen site July 3/18 and upon arriving the site was very uneven and not even reasonably close to being level! We asked to be moved to a level site but was refused! The owner/manager came over by golf cart and greeted us in a very rude manner. He told us to "get away" from his golf cart while we were trying to reason with him! Told us to move a head 4 ft and it would be level! We did and he said there you go! It was still way off and we demanded another sight! He threw a "Fit" with hands waving in the air and shouted "Go to WalMart"! We asked for a refund and left. We travelled further east a short distance and booked in at Comfort Plus RV and that was one of the best decisions we had ever made! Management here, very friendly, level site all for less money! I would have given a minus 1 if the indicator bar allowed!
Our advice to you, any RV'ers heading into Indian Head Campground -"APPROACH WITH CAUTION! ️
