Jan Lake is beautiful, the air is fresh and the scenery and fishing is amazing. Jan Lake Lodge, however, is DISGUSTING. Our cabin was so dirty. My little toy poodle found a rib bone under the hide a bed, there were cheezies, hair elastic and so much dirt under the beds. Dead, bloody, bugs all over the walls, dirty finger prints everywhere, yellow pillows, the window sills haven’t been cleaned since I stayed here as a kid, 20 years ago, the sheets were dirty, the couches were caked in dirt and I don’t think the floors have never been mopped. I will never book the lodge again. I checked out Fat Camps while we were there and we have booked our stay for next year. Clean your cabins Jan Lake Lodge, it’s not acceptable.

Beautiful views from every cabin. Main lodge has all the goods and services you need. 10/10 would stay again.

The staff and owner are very caring and super helpful when you need. Amenities are really great. Boat rental available all day with a lot of area to explore. Convenience store on site for your basics.all you need for a Northern escape. Highly recommend staying here.

Poor customer communication, error upon booking to benefit the lodge vs the customer. The deck out front of our cabin needed major repair work. It is not safe for young kids (exposed nails, broken wood slabs, rotten wood)
