I have a bad flu, walked in Saturday morning, the lady receptionist very friendly and kind, didn’t have to wait for long, the nurse taking my temperature and pressure was also kind and caring. Doctor Niekerk listened patiently and explained to me my situation and what’s happening even showed me a picture on the wall and explained my ear problems after flying. My visit was a good experience all together.

My wife ad an appointment with Dr. Misfeldt for a complete physical 3 months prior to the day we came in. As it was her last couple of days working. When we came in they said the appointment was canceled and they did not send either us any notice that it had been cancelled. They have both our phone numbers but did not send a message to either of us. They cost us both 1/2 day of work and the trip to the clinic. How absolutely irresponsible. All they would say is sorry. Absolutely angering and very unprofessional of them.

The doctors was very dismissive and judgemental. Bizzare service everytime. I did a walk in aound christmas and told the doctor about my symptoms and tried explaining it. The doctor eventually lost his patience and crosses his arms and said you are not convincing as if I was not to be taken seriously. Another time I did a walk in about a issue I was having and the receptionist said the doctor can pull my file and help me for a short period as I'm finding a new family physcian. Instead the doctor I was seeing didn't pull up my chart and after I explained my symptoms he got unpatient and unprofessional and yelled at me to go see my family doctor there's nothing I can do. What's the point of seeing a doctor here if I'm going to be yelled out the room because the doctor can't do anything isn't it their job to help patients? Yesterday I did a walk in and the doctor brushed my concerns aside and didn't physically examine me. I was horribly misdiagnosed. I lost faith in this clinic.

This clinic tends to be busy, but to be fair, ALL clinics in Saskatoon are busy! Most of the time, the staff is pleasant and accommodating and yes, there are a few just going through the motion of their job but that hasn't stopped me from receiving good care.

Dr. Van Niekerk has been my primary doctor for some time now and I am very happy with the care I've received from him. I don't visit often, but when I do he takes the time to assess what's going on and explain his diagnosis and treatment options (if I need them).

Sometimes having to wait a while for my appointment doesn't deter me from coming here for my health care.

I call at 6 o'clock pm on a Wednesday, trying to book an appointment. The robot tells me they are closed, call back between the regular clinic hours of 8: 30am-8pm? But I literally am calling between those hours? It's pretty frustrating that this keeps happening. If the information online is no longer accurate, you should update that so you don't just waste people's time.

The clinic called me that I have to book for an appointment to get my requisition. I asked if I can come in to just picked it up. They said, the doctor needs to see me, so I booked. Went to my appointment today, they took my BP and I waited in the room. An hour came by and no one came. I really needed to use the washroom, not that far from the room I was in (maybe 2-3 rooms up the hallway), so I went. I wasn't gone for too long, 1-2 mins maybe. I came back only to find that there was a new patient in the room they put me in. I told one of the staff that there is a new patient in that room. She told me that my appointment was completed and my requisition is available already without being seen by the Doctor yet (signed in today's date). Anyways, I just asked if I can get it and she printed it out for me. To be fair she was helpful. I got what I needed anyway. It would have been nice, if they just told me to pick it up rather than telling I have to book an appointment. Waited for an hour for a scheduled appointment for nothing.

Not sure if the staff tells the clerk or the doctor himself marks the appointment complete. I don't know their clinic workflow is but somebody needs to tell somebody that " yes, this patient has been seen, you can mark complete" or "patient was missing, missed the doctor, reschedule". This way, there's no patient unaccounted for and it's part of proper chart documentation too. Also, it prevents from cashing in from the health insurance for a service not rendered for. Completed appointment means service was given, cancelled appointment can be of different reasons but service was not rendered. It's a bit fraudulent in my opinion.

I visited the clinic on Sunday Feb. 26,2023 and was met by a warm receptionist and a very caring and charming nurse Nicole.
Dr. Johann Malan was the doctor on call and he is one of the best and most pleasant Doctors I have ever met at a walk-in clinic. He first listened to my health issues, asked me a couple questions and then diagnosed my symptoms. He took his time with me and I did not feel rushed In any way. He made sure that I understood his diagnoses and asked if I had any questions or concerns before leaving. Dr. Johann Malan also had a good sense of humour and he definitely deserves a five star rating

Dr. B. Olabiyi is my family doctor and I could say that I’m really glad that she is. She really listens to your concern and is really knowledgeable in her practice. I just wanted to extend my gratefulness and appreciation to all the doctors who genuinely cares about their patients, and Dr. B. Olabiyi being one of them.

I fell and broke my collarbone. I live nearby so my husband took me to Kenderdine Medical Clinic. The wait wasn't as long as it would've been at any hospital ER. I received excellent care and got X-rays so quickly. I was very impressed. My doctor has an excellent sense of humour and had me laughing even though I was in excruciating pain. Highly recommend this clinic!

Extremely rude receptionist. Don’t know why you’d work as a receptionist if you are angry to answer very simple phone calls. Answered the phone aggravated before I had even spoken - then provided no help and hung up. Embarrassing coming from a professional.

I called to ask about walk in wait time and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. I immediately drove to the clinic. When I arrived, I was told they were closed for lunch and to come back in 45 minutes.

Absolutely ABYSMAL communication by administration.

EDIT: (As a response to the comment left by Dan below) It seems you have misunderstood my complaint. I understand walk-in times are terrible throughout the city. The entire point of me calling ahead is because I know walk-in times can be long. I'm upset because the only reason I bothered to drive over was because I was told the walk-in time was 20 minutes. I assume your employee knew that the clinic would be closed over lunch hours, therefore it would have been helpful to disclose that fact when I was asking about walk-in times.

Had a fever of 103° for multiple days, after waiting over three hours the doctor gave me less then 4 minutes of his time and told me there was nothing he could or would do for me. He could not have cared less for me and my sickness. The next day I went to the Erindale health center and the doctor immediately proscribed me antibiotics and said it was very obvious I needed them.started feeling better within 24hr. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME seeking medical attention from this clinic.

I checked the Medimap for a walk in clinic and this said it was a ten minute wait ("updated 7 minutes ago") so I head over as my 7 month old needs to be seen. I got there at 10: 30am and check in. The receptionist tells me I'm 7th in line but there are two doctors for walk ins so it shouldn't take long. And an hour and a half later I get called to the front just to be told that the doctors have wrapped for the morning and have left for lunch. But if I want to wait they'll be back about 1pm and I'll be 3rd in line. A baby
can't stay patient forever especially when they're already not feeling well so we had to leave. Waste of my day. And the worst part is we still have to find somewhere else to go tomorrow.

I know doctors have to eat and there's an extreme shortage Saskatchewan, blah, blah, blah.

Had never been here before, but was treated rather promptly. Admin staff was very friendly, and caring. Dr. Milan was perhaps the nicest physician I’ve ever met. He actively listened to what I had to say, never dismissed my concerns, and was immensely compassionate. Despite the depressing need to go to a walk in clinic, it was a positive experience overall.

Dr. Van Niekerk is the worst Doctor I’ve ever seen in this clinic. He does not want to listen to what you gonna say about what are you feeling. Rude behaviour as a walk-in doctor. I walked out, I cant take the way his actions when you speak. Keeps on shaking his head. Rushing you off to be done for the day.
Ive been visiting this clinic for 11 years and this is the first time Ive been treated this way.

Took my sick 6 month old in to the walk in. Was told it would be 30-45 minutes. Over an hour and a half later we were told the Dr’s were leaving for lunch and that she was first in line at 1: 00 when they get back. That would had been another hour. None of the other Dr’s would take 5 min to look in her ears and listen to her chest. If I could give zero stars I would.

It's really bad walking clinic but we have no choice because it is close us. I was third patient in the waiting list but somehow I was moved down the list over and over and every time I asked the recipient had an excuse for it ready. Stupid medical system in saskatoon.

This is a personal opinion based on my own years of experience with this clinic. I am dissatisfied by the performance and analysis of Dr. S Van Niekerk, who was my family physician until recently. Rude, dismissive, unhelpful, and judgemental.

Also, the walls in that clinic do not provide much privacy, which is weird given that the clinic is primarily a windowless retail space. It seems like there could be thicker walls maybe.

Dr Dagiou was my Dr. He made me a specialist appt for surgery. I showed up for surgery and he walked in at the last minute and said he would be practicing on my surgery without prior consultation. Probably the most unprofessional thing a Dr has pulled on me. Very uncomfortable situation and had no accountability afterwards

Absolutely one of the worst clinics I've ever been too. Dr. Refused treatment and started arguing with me because I had used an over the counter medication before going in.geuss drs don't like it when you educate yourself before going to see them.

Spent over 5 hours over 3 evenings just trying to make an appointment. Still had no success after all that time. Seems impossible to actually make an appointment. Very unprofessional. Making the appointment takes only about 2 minutes. How hard can this be to do the basics.

Love my family doctor here, however, I’m very unimpressed with the wait times for a walk in. We signed In my 5 year old and they told us to wait in the car for a phone call. I called about an hour after we signed it to see how much longer it would be. They said there was 5 people ahead of me so it would still be another hour. And to come back for 4. I told her they should let people know that it will be a 2.5 hour wait and give them a call 15 minutes before hand instead. It’s almost 430 hot day in a car with my sick 5 year old, and I still haven’t recieved a call from them…. Very very poor service. Starting to wonder after reading all these reviews if I’ll even get a call back at all.

My experience with the clinic’s wait times itself is relatively positive. They are quick in seeing you; however, the reason why this a one star review is because of one physician in particular, Dr. Ojelabi.
I strongly advise anyone seeing Dr. Ojelabi if possible. She is unprofessional and profoundly incompetent as a general practitioner.
I had to see her for two walk-in appointments, and it was enough for me to decide to never return to the clinic again.
She laughed at one of my questions regarding my health, and our appointments lasted no longer than five minutes. She is short with you, and doesn’t invest the time to throughly evaluate your situation (with each appointment lasting roughly 5 minutes). She was incapable of being caring and understanding towards my health concerns in any regard.
I cannot comment on the other physicians at this facility, but again, if possible do not give this GP any amount your time, as it will allow her to continue perpetuating her malpractice and leave your health concerns unresolved.
Overall, she is rude, uncaring, and is one of the worst doctors I’ve ever had the opportunity of meeting.

The phone system is crazy. Plus one person answering the phones has a bad headset. Can’t make out what they are saying. Do they accept the fact the headset or connection is bad? Of course not. Hang up wait 30 minutes on hold get a different person and the call is fine. Very poor.

Took our son in. Sick, 3 negative covid tests. New symptoms discovered after following prior dr directions form another office. Initially, he was denied access to a doctor (due to covid symptoms), despite negative tests and seeing a doctor 4 days earlier. Saw a doctor after begging, explaining and having him crying hysterically in the waiting room. Doctor was blunt, did not allow for any questions and did not want to hear details that may help with diagnosis or direction for further treatment. We understand the pressures of covid and thank all medicinal practitioners for their work, but this felt like a near neglectful experience. It felt a bit belittling to advocate for a child and then to be dismissed in this way. We plan to see our family doctor in a week since the visit did not feel like any legitimate assessment was performed.

I saw Dr. S. Van Niekerk for my 3 year olds head laceration. We were visitors to Saskatoon and this was my first injury with my child and I was a scared mom. I asked him an innocent question on if he’s stitched up a lot of 3 year olds and he turned to his computer, muttered “Jesus Christ” and then turned to me and said “I have been a doctor for over 30 years so yes I have stitched up people. ” Needless to say I left and took my child to the Children’s Hospital as I was not letting him touch my child after that. I understand there is a medical professional shortage, but is a patient not allowed to ask questions anymore? Do we have to tolerate treatment like this from physicians just because they have an “MD” title? I have never had a physician act in this way and I don’t care how bad of a day they are having, bedside manner and professionalism should be part of what a business is meant to represent, and unfortunately if this clinic allows physicians to act in this way I would encourage you not be seen there and go somewhere where you will get treated well.

Patient for 1.5 years, missed an appointment a while back because the desk gave me the wrong date (showed up for that date and time). This past week the weather prevented me from getting to my appointment, too cold to walk and too cold for the car, made me reschedule for the 3rd, suprise missed that one too as it was still too cold. Asked not to reschedule until it I could guarantee transportation. Got a letter saying they will not be seeing me anymore as I've missed two appointments in a row. Thanks for displaying medical classism and ableism kenderdine medical clinic (Dr Van Niekerk).

Nobody answers the phones there or if you leave a voicemail they dont even call you back. I have been calling for four days now and left messages simplying asking when my appointment is and not one person has called me back.

I've unfortunately had to visit this clinic twice in the last couple of months. Both times the staff have been kind, patient and helpful. Reception, nurses and the two doctors I've seen. Great care, referrals made and fast follow up to my GP. Should I need to go again I will have to bring them some treats. I'm so appreciative of the availability of this clinic in my neighbourhood.

Worst medical clinic in the city! Arrived at 9am on Sunday for a walk in appointment and the doctor didn't even show up for work until 9.45 even though they opened at 9! Waited for over an hour and a half to see someone, so unprofessional will never come back here!

This office is hands down the most incompetent medical team i have ever dealt with, after prescribing something it took 2 hours for them to send the prescription to the pharmacy. (after telling us to go next door to the pharmacy and wait) after everything is said and done it will take a total of 4 hours for the prescription to be finalized.it takes 1 minute to fax literally. No urgency, no caring about the patients needs.if you need a doctor go anywhere else.the current 2 star rating is highly kind

Today I had called and left my number for the reception to call me back to make an appointment for myself and my son. When she did, she got impatient with me, continued to say that my son can see any doctor for a walk-in. It’s hard to do walk-ins with an impatient toddler. So I continued to tell her I would like him to see the family doctor we have there. Then she replied with attitude, well tell me what works for you because I have a line up here waiting. So I told her she didn’t need to be rude and I hung up. Not impressed with the attitude from the receptionist. I am just as important as those patients that were in line.

I saw a sports medicine doctor here for chronic hip pain. He didnt even look at me, like with his eyes. No eye contact. No assessment. He wrote down "do lunges" on a paper towel from the dispenser in the room and left. Embarrassing. Avoid this place.

Waiting times were great for the few times I went. Place was clean and well organized. The reception needs a bit of work on the friendly side but not too bad. The main issue is the doctors. I saw one who gave me a very bad medical diagnosis. Had to take more time off work because of it. The other one gave a much better diagnosis but was very miffed when I asked him to fill out forms. I would've gone with my family doctor with the forms but he was unavailable.

What I don’t love, is being on hold for 1 hr + before I even speak to a receptionist. Every. Single. Time. Hire more front end staff to answer the phones.

Drove 1.5 hours for a walk in after couldn't get an appointment. Asking screening questions, one symptom, and me, and my two kids were asked to leave and asked to wait for a phone call. After two hours of being stuck I parking g lot we get told that we need to get tested.i took my kids to a local clinic, got the meds need for a sore throat. After four days of suffering. When we could have just gotten from here. Made me feel like I was a lower class reject.

I recently had a negative covid result but still don't feel great. Went to this clinic for a walk-in appt. I was told to wait in my car. 55 mins later they called me and didn't bring me in (not sure why I had to wait in my car instead of going home). But because I have covid symptoms there wasn't even any assessment. Just send back for more covid testing. Thanks for nothing. Never coming back or recommending anyone to this clinic.

Awful clinic, they never answer their phone on purpose. If you book telephone appointments the doctors don't call you, and the staff don't tell you you're not getting a call. When you go into the clinic there are barely any people there. The busy phone signal message says your call will be answered in 30 mins, that there are 9 calls ahead of you. If you leave a message they don't return your call. This is just such an unprofessional and useless clinic.

I'm always pretty skeptical of other reviews because I got to the clinic at 9: 00am and waited for only 45 minutes (compared to other places I've gone, this isn't so bad) to see the doctor. He was quick, listened to my concerns and made sure to explain the medications he was perscribing me. All in all, getting in and out of a walk-in clinic in about an hour is pretty good to me. Only thing I noticed was that though I got there before a few others, they got priority (most were children, so I understand). Honestly, just go when the clinic opens or before it starts getting really busy (I find anything after noon is typically pretty busy for most walk-in clinics).

The service is okay, for a clinic that's 20km or more away from my house, have been nearly on time for every appointment and have been seen no more than a couple minutes after being told to take a seat, then moved to a room where I waited a reasonable 25 minutes, they are an extremely busy place which makes sense that you need to wait a bit, I have been sick with an unknown health problem for maybe a few months on and off, so far my doctor has only been able to detect viral infections and low white blood cell counts through blood tests, they are extremely helpful though, I remember I went there when I had phenomnia as a child and as terrible as it was my family doctor was able to provide me with the right treatment and it helped, I'd highly recommend Dr. Misfeldt for anyone she has been there forever and is very reliable time wise, have also had a physical done, which turned up clear since nothing was sore. Unfortunate that the wait for a specialist is far too long, especially when you are suffering while waiting and you are just hoping you get to see one and find out what is wrong and nothing bad happens while you wait, I have been seeing the same clinic and doctor since I was a child and everyone is always so friendly and welcoming there, I would encourage anyone to go to this clinic, sure whatever health problems you may have will also have a long waiting list if it isn't seen as serious or they can't seem to find out what's wrong thus requiring further examinations or tests but it's better than nothing I suppose.

Initial impression was great. The doctor I saw was very informative and had a great sense of humour. Went into the clinic for a hand injury. Had X-rays and they showed that I had metal barbs still stuck in the bone. Doctor said he would send X-rays to radiology to see what the next course of action would be and that he would let me know what they say regardless. After calling back 4 times over the following week and not receiving any call back, I decided to just go to emergency where I received an answer after being there for 4 hours

Absolutely the worst clinic I have ever been in to date. The receptionist was the only good part of my "walk in"
I sat in the half full waiting room for 2 hours before they finally called me. Then I got a blood pressure test,
even though I only needed a prescription refill (I can only assume they do because of the wait times) after sitting for about another 10 minutes they brought me to a room where I sat for another 25 minutes before seeing a doctor. The doctor then only prescribed 1/12 my regular prescription, and refused the bloodwork I wanted done because it's "not important".

Do yourself a favour and avoid this place like the plague.
