I am so thankful to have this diller ship in Saskatoon.
They are very busy but they get the job done. They been very kind to us especially Darrel and Sarah and the services manager. Thank you.

EDIT: Once again, my check engine light is on and you guessed it… no one ever answers the phone at the service desk or calls you back. This location continues to be the worst dealership we’ve ever dealt with. ANY shop I call they cringe when I tell them where we purchased from. Genuinely the most useless service department.

If I could give KIA a 0 I would. I have so much warranty, and anything I’ve ever taken my suv in for has been “sorry that’s not under warranty” and then they continue to tell me what’s wrong with my brand new suv (just over 40km) Whoever is working the front in shops… I don’t even have words. Anything you ask she says “I don’t have a record of that”. So what does the warranty cover, what do you have a record for? When asked “what if the motor blows” she responds with “oh yeah there’s a recall for that. Something to do with the transmission” … uhhh, ok. After this incident, it’s safe to say we are trading it and never looking back. I will never recommend KIA and I’ll be sure to share the horrendous experience with them. Avoid at all costs!

I waited in line to be helped as the service team was helping 1 person while there was multiple people working. I walked up because they wouldn't acknowledge me and when I did the employee said she would be right with me. As I was waiting the phone rang and she started helping that customer. This was super disrespectful as I was waiting for 10+ minutes while the employee was doing nothing just for her to tell me she would be right with me like she was busy with another customer but helped the customer on the phone right away. BAD service at the service desk.

Horribly deceptive sales tactics used during my purchase of a new Niro EV. I was offered a good deal by sales reps A and B. We communicated by phone and email since I live in Regina.

Before committing to the deal I asked the reps to provide all of the details in writing, including purchase price before taxes and rebates, finance rate, and bi weekly payment. They didn’t seem to want to do this, but after several tries, they finally sent the quote in writing. Then, over the phone, I asked rep B what would be due on signing and I said that I didn’t want any surprise charges. He said the first payment and a filing fee would be due, totalling no more than $400. I had him confirm that these were the ONLY amounts due on signing, which he did.

With this information, I was happy with that deal. I drove a rental car to Saskatoon to sign the papers and pick up the vehicle. Only when I met with rep B at the dealership did he tell me there was an additional $1600 due, apparently taxes due on the down payment. I was very upset to learn this, but was in a tough spot with no way to get home (car rental was one way), so I signed.

I was totally deceived by the sales team with respect to the actual sale price of the vehicle including all taxes and fees. This is a totally dishonest business practice. They knew I would be committed to the deal, having come from Regina. I would’ve had to pay for a hotel and rental car to get home. I’ve been in touch with reps at Kia Regina who tell me that they always quote a tax inclusive down payment amount for new leases.

Stay away from this dealership, they will offer you a deal that’s literally too good to be true then rip you off.

[The response below is completely inadequate. The point is the sales reps gave me one price to get me to Saskatoon, then a different price before signing. That was dishonest. Yes, they offered to rip up the deal, but they knew I was stuck in Saskatoon with no way to get home and nowhere to stay. What kind of choice is that? ! ]

I am changing my five star rating to reflect my most recent service experience and the complete lack of followup from Kia of Saskatoon thereafter.

1 Star Service Experience - My most recent service experience was less than satisfactory and left me feeling ripped off. I made my dissatisfaction known in the corporate customer survey that I received shortly after my appointment, later receiving a form email from the service manager asking for additional comments. At 4: 25PM on August 1st I replied with a thorough email explaining what I had experienced, looking for a little clarification and maybe an apology if warranted. After two weeks with no reply from the service manager I forwarded that email to the general manager at 8AM on August 15th. At the time of writing it is August 30th and I have yet to hear anything from the service manager, general manager or anyone at Kia of Saskatoon for that matter. Again; I'm not looking for anyone to get in trouble, nor am I demanding my money back. I'd just like an explanation, and maybe an apology if it's warranted. Until then I have no intention of returning to the Kia of Saskatoon service department.

5 Star Buying Experience - My wife and I were in the market for a new vehicle, so we visited Kia of Saskatoon to check out the new Seltos and Sportage. Heading in, we understood what the new vehicle market is like. We assumed we'd be placing an order for a new vehicle, and if we were lucky we'd take delivery in a few months. Upon arriving at the dealership, we were quickly greeted by Hassan who sat us down to discuss what we were looking for. He listened to what we had to say, considered what we were looking for in a new vehicle, and suggested we take a look at the 2023 Sportage LX FWD they had on the lot. We took it for a little test drive and immediately liked it. We returned to the dealership and sat down to discuss what it would take to make a deal. Before visiting Kia of Saskatoon I had used the trade in calculator on their website to value my trade, and their trade in offer was right in line with the estimation from their website. We told Hassan where we'd need our monthly payments to be, and he got them right in our range. We moved on to Tom in financing who thoroughly and expertly explained the various additional warranties and packages we could add to our vehicle. He helped us weigh what options would be the most valuable for us and was not forceful at any point. He got us financing through our own banking institution which was nice, and patiently helped us though all the final steps of the deal. Next thing we knew, much to our surprise, we were driving home in a new vehicle. As we were driving home, I told my wife that this was the first car deal I've made where driving home I wasn't second guessing myself or feeling like I had been taken advantage of or even bullied. From start to finish, this buying experience was enjoyable, easy, and not forceful at any point. I would absolutely recommend Kia of Saskatoon, Hassan Arif and Thomas Boldick to anyone in the market for a new vehicle. Thanks a lot!

My wife and I are visiting here from Quebec we dropped by Kia today to ask a few questions. We have a Kia Soul GT line.
The person who served us was so nice answered all our questions and more. Her name is Jordyan if we were buying a car here in Saskatoon we would definitley go see Jordyan. Thanks for your time and patience Jordyan.

Horrible customer service. I took my car few weeks back and there is part that needs to be changed. I wanted to know if that will be covered under warranty or not. I have been calling them for 3 days the person who picked up the phone do not have the information. Transferred me to service 4 - 5 times. I have left several messages but not one got back to me.

After buying my first used car from KIA and it needing constant fixing - I had had enough and went back to Chase. I told him exactly what I wanted and he tried to get me something but there was nothing in my budget. He then showed me a 2018 Chevy Cruze LT and I was nervous but I said yes. I love it! Chase was nothing but punctual and helpful. Hopefully this car will last me! Thanks!

My first few experiences with the service department were good, but it's been going downhill drastically. My last time there was probably my last time there. I had an appointment booked and had my vehicle towed there. All I needed was a tire repair, but they didn't do it. I called so many times and they wouldn't answer or when they did answer they had no idea what was being done or where my car was. My car was there for 4 days before someone who knew anything called me. Travis from the sales department tracked down my paperwork which had been lost (not even his department and he was more helpful than anyone else).
I went and picked up my car, put the spare on it and took it to Kal Tire where they actually repaired the "completely shot" tire in half an hour. Buy your car here if you want but get it serviced elsewhere.

I have a warranty on my car with kia but I'd rather pay for good service than deal with this again.

I would like to say that Dawson, who works in the service department, was very kind and helpful when I picked up my car yesterday. I must say that I was impressed with his service and greatly appreciated it.

Last year, we bought a 2015 Kia Sorento car in installments from the Kia company in Saskatoon, Canada, called ffun, with an unusually high interest rate of 18%, and they promised us that if you pay all the installments on time for one year and be smart, you will increase your credit. The interest rate will be reduced to at least half, so we paid all the installments on time and in full for 12 months, but when we applied, we were faced with the disrespect of the Kia officials and they made bad promises and bet that you either have to buy another car or go get a loan from your bank. And the interest rate is 18%, which unfortunately is not common anywhere in Canada, considering the credibility of Kia and our good reputation and the fact that we are your customer, I would like you to take care of it. Thank you.

- Update Starts -
Purchasing the car with Kia was a good experience, but the service afterwards has been awful. I would recommend no one to go here. Unfortunately, they are my only option. I would go anywhere else if I could.

I purchased an extended warranty with my vehicle, which they conveniently couldn't find in the system for months, even after I provided the evidence. I had to wait almost a year for them to figure this issue out.

They don't have the recalled items on the car in stock, nor do they have other important parts. They tell you that they will call you asap with the details of when it will be available, but then they never do, it doesn't matter how big the problem in your car is. And it becomes your problem again to stay on top of them.

If you have any electrical issues, then forget about it. Even if you have a warranty, you'll have to pay hundreds of dollars to get it checked, and in the end, they either don't find anything or they don't have the part.

This place is BAD.

- Update Ends -
Matthew helped me make a decision on Sorento 2017. He's a great guy, very friendly and open, he'll tell you things straight, no BS or trying to dodge tricky questions. Everyone else at Kia is extremely friendly too, Kelly helped us financing and she's wonderful! Dealing with them is like dealing with friends rather than pushy salesmen wanting to push their product out.
19 June 2023 13:07
Recommend going to Seth. He and the finance team member, Kelly, got me what I wanted. They didn't beat around the bush and try push anything. They helped get into vehicle the same day.
18 June 2023 19:17
My car's engine blew due to a manufacturing defect. They have had my vehicle for 8 days and have not tried even once to reach out to me to update me or to arrange a loaner vehicle.

I have called every day and been told they will call me back. My girlfriend also calls every day and the same. We get no answers and no response, just "we will call you back".

*Edit*
I called five times today, and my girlfriend also called multiple times. Finally the GM called me back. One of the first things he mentioned was my review and how I wouldn't qualify for the class action lawsuit I mentioned in my review, perhaps I wrote something I'm not aware of above? Makes me wonder if he is calling because I became a pest today or he was worried about their reputation?

Throughout the conversation he explained that I was mistaken about Kia Canada informing me that the long block replacement was approved on the 15th, two days after I had dropped the car off, and in fact they had only approved it today, just before he called me. Also that they did not have the ability to offer me a loaner vehicle at this time, because their full fleet of loaners was out to other customers.

This I completely believe as the quality of the kia product is seriously questionable considering they have three class action law suits (now I mentioned it) against them, multiple recalls, and a multitude of reports talking about the billions of dollars it's costing Kia because of poor engine quality.

I asked about the roadside program, as their signage and the paperwork I was given includes the promise of a loaner vehicle. I was informed that if only I had broken down 50kms further away from my home and had the vehicle towed, than they could have given me a daily allowance for a rental car. You can imagine how ridiculous 50 kilometers seemed to me, and my disappointment when the GM affirmed, that I was s.o. L.

At the end of the conversation I was sure of the following: my car will be in the hands of service for longer than another seven days, a loaner may never be given to me, and I'm never buying a Kia again.

I had an incredible buying experience at Kia today. Travis was hands down the best sales person I’ve ever experienced - honest, to the point and pretty funny. Kelly-Lee in finance was also angel who explained every step to me along the way. I didn’t feel pressured or an ounce of regret driving off the lot. Highly recommend!
11 June 2023 18:05
Over 2 years of chasing down a warranty repair that still has not been completed. No call back from service manager or dealer manager. It floors me that anyone could give a good rating. On top of this I went to a tire shop and was told my tires were over inflated causing uneven wear. Only people to touch the vehicle prior were KIA service. Stay away from Ffun. Buy in another city if you are set on a brand.

Great place to purchase a vehicle! In and out within 3 hours of deciding what we wanted. Amazing quality in staff, give them your business. Kia is a technically evolving company that had converted me from purchasing another Toyota.

Thanks Kia Saskatoon!

From the moment we stepped on the lot we felt so welcome. Our Sales guy Travis was fantastic, down to earth and treated us so well. Once we purchased our telluride, he celebrated with us by popping a confetti gun to make it fun. The finance manager Kelly was fantastic, super welcoming and had such a huge heart. It felt like we’ve known her our whole lives. I would highly recommend dealing with Kia Saskatoon.

I have an SGI claim for a kia and I've been waiting roughly 2 months just for an apt.well they said I will be contacted by phone for my claim and I have not been contacted since. I've been calling and I do not receive a call back. I've left numerous message with my name and number and of the sgi claim, noone has ever returned my calls. I have a kia so you would think it would be best that they look at it and fix it.wouldn't you.parts are starting to be hard to find for this vehicle.as I've been told.

Recently bought a 2020 Sportage. We had a very comfortable and easy sales experience with Raj. He has only been there for 3 weeks but handled our questions very well and made it easy for us to buy from him. Colin helped us out with the financial questions we had and made the sale process work like a dream. These two impressed me with their attentiveness to our needs and we would highly recommend anyone to go and check out Kia for you next purchase.

Big shout out to Tom and company. They were able to get us hooked with a new PHEV Sportage in 4-5 months. Very friendly and they even stayed late so we could get take the SUV home the same day. The SUV is very smooth with tons of standard options and we love it. Also, huge thanks to Ruby for helping fix our predicament.
Thank you Kia Saskatoon!

They sold me some appearance protection with car by saying it is mandatory and told me if i did not buy this protection, they will put other charges on sales like delivery charges and stuff like that. Now my car windshield got stone chip crack, so I went there to get it fixed (included in that appearance insurance) and came to know it can't be fixed because my car has a heated windshield. First, they gave me appointment and then called me 3 hours before my appointment to tell me this. Why would you guys forced me to buy something that is not even useful for my car.

Last week was contacted as I put an application in through Canada Drives (I believe that's what it was). Spent time with someone who took information, and was hoping for a callback to see what was happening or to get the process rolling further. Unfortunately, got contacted by another dealership, and things are progressing. You snooze, you lose. Besides, I got approved by another dealer, in the same amount of time someone could have contacted me

If I could give this dealership a negative star I would! Recently purchased a used Caravan in the middle of winter, drove it home at night only to find it was not cleaned inside the next morning. The stow away seats compartments were dirty from the previous owner. Being due with twins the next 2 months you expect quality service and having to deal with this hassle free. Called the dealership about the warranty and what it covers, only to have them play phone tag within the departments.not to mention the 2 weeks within purchase the wiper blades in the back stopped working properly. Like you expect the dealership to be honest and not have to worry and be frustrated with having to deal with issue after issue especially being super pregnant and just wanting to have a vehicle for my growing family. My mistake was not catching the red flag when the salesman said he didn't know much about cars! UGH I should've reviewed the reviews on this dealership and noticed ALOT of 1 star reviews! Please learn from my experience.
