La Bamba Cafe

One of my favourite restaurants in Saskatoon has to be La Bamba. The food is always delicious and the people working are always so nice. They are only offering take out and delivery but the food is perfection. Ordered the flautas tonight, and they hit the spot with the rice.

One of the great restuarants of Saskatoon! You owe it to yourself to order or dine in here. Probably the best Mexican food I've had in the province. Highly recommended!

I think you'd have a better experience dining in and requesting extra salsa or hot sauce. Didn't get that option as they're only doing pick up or delivery. They also didn't offer sauces or cutlery when ordering. Food was very bland, only had the salsa from the chips we ordered and that wasn't enough. If you order, request hot sauce and salsa as the food has no flavor to it at all.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, that warms the soul and does not break the bank then this is your spot!

The food tastes homemade. Really enjoyed it but just a tad bit expensive (hence the 4 stars instead of 5). I highly recommend trying this place out if you want to experience unique Mexican food and their serving size is very good too.

Ordered from skip the dishes hoping it was good, but it is not. Food was super bland and tasteless, no flavour expect for the enchiladas, that is it. Definitely was not worth the $80 I spent on my order. $15-17 for 2 small tacos and rice… no flavour.

This place used to be my favorite Mexican place, but the quality has dropped during lockdown. I was disappointed.

We went here last week Friday - tried about 6 different restaurants that had more than an hour wait before calling La Bamba. Though small, they fit us in. Super quick service. Chips and salsa are great, fresh (free, I assume with a main ordered). Flautas were fantastic, good sized portion. I've never had a bad meal here.

Great food and really friendly staff. You can't go wrong with any of the items in the menu. Chilaquiles Verde are a personal favorite.

Just ok. Sides didn't seem fresh. I heard so many good things that I was unfortunately underwhelmed.

Staff were amazing and kind, accommodating to the people in wheelchairs, also everyone loved the food

I along with my girlfriend ordered the chilaquiles, and all I can say is holy dinah it was delicious. Perhaps the best Mexican food in town, definitely giving Las Palapas a run for its money.

Super tasty food! Enjoyed a really nice meal with a larger group of friends and their son. Extremely good value for money!

Great place although the soup of the day was tequila and when we asked for 2 soup of the days he laughed and thought we were joking!

Definitely one of the more authentic of any Mexican or Tex-Mex restaurant in town. Service was good, staff were friendly. I ordered the flautas and nachos, both were excellent. I was surprised with the high quality of the complimentary chips and salsa. As with any good Mexican place, they use cilantro liberally but tastefully. I'm hoping to head there again soon!

Very good food! I ate here while on vacation to Saskatoon from Toronto. We have a lot of really good Mexican places in Toronto so I wasn't sure how it would compare, but I honestly think it was better than a lot of the places I've tried back home. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back here if I'm ever in the area again!

An okay Canadianized Mezican restaurant. The mole was too sweet and the green sauce not spicy enough. Generous guacamole.

Sooooo good! I was starving when we arrived, so I was a bit hungry still afterwards. Portions aren't the biggest, but the quality of food is great!

This has to be one of our family's favorite restaurant's. Authentic Mexican food, fast, freindly service. Nice atmosphere. There could be a wait but is well worth it and not usually very long.

Went for supper on april 6/19, small and cozy, the food was amazing. Large portions, huge flavour, very happy and will be going back

Great food consistently. Probably the best place to go if you want to get Mexican food. It's been amazing no matter what item I choose
