Brought my truck in 2 times for a noise under the hood, the first time the mechanics convinced me that is the way the truck sounds. After more of my personal investigation and test driving 2 other trucks the noise is not supposed to be there. The second time they couldn’t find the noise and charged me $200 to fix nothing. I will be taking my truck to another ford dealership besides oil changes as it will void my warranty. Terrible service, terrible

Drove right up and entered. Needed a tire switchover to tires that I had in storage. It was closing in a few minutes so an appointment was booked for the next morning. I had something come up in the and missed my appointment. I drove up and they fit me in right away.

Was in for oil change and had previously asked about a recall letter and was told next time I am in the would look at it. Well they did boot run my serial number to check to see if there were recalls. When asked the excuse was Oophs we will do it tomorrow. No I was here today. People have jobs. Then we will do it another time call and book an appointment. I did and once again only a 1/2 job done. Typical Lakeland in my experience. I have heard a lot of OOPHS there.

They took the time and Didn't force a sale on me. My purchase was months in the making. As I had a very specific car in mind. Give graham your specs and he well find it for ya. I've dealt with others and he took one week and my car was on the lot graham is your boy.

I was over-charged for parts, and labour on a routine maintenance job.

The filter kit retails for $75 online was charged $178.

Was charged $21 for shop supplies.

Was charged $120 for a job that takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Turning a job that should have cost around $200 into $400?

When I complained the Service Attendant basically "scoffed" and said that's what we charge

Over 100% markup on parts?

Will NEVER get anymore of my business!

If I could give ZERO or Negative stars I would!

The service lady was very good as I entered the service bay. I can say the same for Brady. He assumed responsibility for my vehicle and was helpful when I had questions about the vehicle. There was an initial misunderstanding about the work which was initially talked about before I brought my vehicle in. When I talked with the Manager he said he would see what he could do. I never did hear back from him.
The lady that took my payment left a sour taste in my mouth and makes me think twice if I will return. She did not say one word. Not a thank you or anything. Not one single word. She placed the debit machine on the counter. After I completed the transaction I placed it back on the counter. She stuck out her hand and kept sitting in her chair. After at least 30 seconds of her sticking out her hand (I could not believe this) I had to place it in her hand. She appears to have an attitude problem and would recommend she takes training in customer relationships. I found her demeanour very rude and condescending.

The other staff was somewhat professional and helpful. It is unfortunate that no one went over the work invoice with me after the work was completed. It would have been very professional and reassuring that everything was ok with my vehicle. A nice touch to bring the customer back.

I read other reviews and it seems the owner attempts to make amends telling the customer to let the service manager know of their experience. In most cases I am sure the service manger already knows as I did express my concern to him. I think it is the owner’s responsibility to discuss with his staff these reviews. The customer should not get involved with internal matters that need to be corrected. It makes more of a positive impact if the owner does this. It shows he is concerned and speaks on behalf of the concerned client. Show your employees that this is not what you expect of them. Leave the customer out of this, as he/she already has had a not so good experience. I hope this to be constructive and improve the customer’s experience at Lakeland Ford.

Bad customer service, my advisor kept on telling me he’s gonna call me back but no update. Talked to the manager, still the same. They can’t keep their word. I have to call numerous time just to get an update. It’s taking too long to know if the issue is covered with the “lifetime powertrain warranty” unlike before just after a few days my advisor can tell me if it is covered or not and they rented a car for me BUT now it’s been almost a month. I’m losing so much work because of this. - July 2022

UPDATE:
I forgot to put an update regarding this unfortunate transaction with lakeland ford. When I told them that I’m going to get my truck without having it fixed they said they can rebuild my engine because I found out that it is not covered as there’s a missing appointment after making me wait for more than 2 months, I just decided to pay for it. But I will no longer going back to lakeland ford.

One more thing, A guy named george was very rude to me when I talked to him when I was asking for an updated because no one was giving me one. His tone of voice was very rude and he got mad when I expressed my frustrations regarding the matter.

I have bought several vehicles through both the Wyatt Group and Lakeland Ford and I have to say the service is unlike anywhere else. We recently traded in and got a brand new 2021 Explorer and we throughly enjoy it. Our salesman Al was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help us get what we wanted. Even after a slight issue we were able to resolve it and my family couldn’t be happier with the choice. The service staff is polite and quick to help.

Like I said, Lakeland Ford is unlike anywhere else!

TLDR: Price was good, just check their work before you leave.

Wasn't gonna put it here for everyone to see, but since Lakeland sent me a text asking to review them I guess I will. I bought four winter tires for my truck and had them installed October 14. I should have checked their work before I left PA, but I didn't since it was a simple tire install. The winter tires are directional and clearly marked as such, but they got the front tires backwards. Since I wasn't going back to PA during their work hours and I wasn't going to make a special trip in, I had to fix their mistake myself at home the next day. Like I told Brady the service advisor the next day on the phone it's not the worst, but a job isn't done til it's done right.

The Lord Hipkiss was very welcoming and offered me a great deal on a vehicle, his whole sales was awesome, however, when it came to making the final sale, he would go to finance and come back with a higher payment plan which was kinda unfair but I needed a vehicle that was more reliable. He was great in all things and didn’t short hand any details that I noticed in anyway and he gave me a a great welcome.

Had the front camera recall done on my 2020 platinum, in and out in 2 1/2 hrs just like my main man Milton said it would be. Previously this summer he got me in on very little notice (called the day before at 3 PM) to have my air conditioning fixed on a Saturday of the long weekend knowing I’m from LaRonge and don’t get south very often.
Friendly and very professional best describe Milton, the world of customer care and service could use more people like him…… if you happen to read this Vaughn, give the man a raise, he deserves it

My salesman was really nice and very knowledgeable. He educated me on all the different trucks and options. Did a great job of finding me the truck that was the best for me.

I'm still not sure how I feel about the rest of the new vehicle purchase experience. Rather unconventional. High pressure. Sales manager wasn't being transparent with all the numbers. Just showing me the biweekly payment number instead of a full price breakdown. I asked for Ford extended warranty but they pressured me into third party warranty.

I really wanted the truck so I didn't really have much choice. Only one Ford dealership here.

Was to take in for service fr recalls. Ended up borrowing money for hotels for 2 extra nights.
To end up with the same tire problem I mentioned first appt.came home with same tire going low again. Not great service. But friendly service guys. My truck was in since fri to Monday and hope my tire is solved soon.

Our sales person was Ryan Palmer and he was excellent. Product at all the dealerships is scarce but Lakeland had a new Hybrid Escape what we were interested in. Ryan's product knowledge was excellent. He went through all the tech the vehicle had to offer and got us all set up. He followed up after the sale and is there to answer any questions or concerns.

Charged me 500 dollars to fix nothing at all even worse I was told everything was fixed. Took 4 days worth of me constantly calling them to even get them to listen to me. Terrible experience and terrible customer service.

I bought a used Ford 2004 2 weeks ago. I took them to Ford Lakeland for an oil change last week. I’m impressed the way they treated me. I felt the respect even though I brought an old Ford. The facility area are magnificent, clean and very nice waiting area. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. The guys in the service department are very professional as well as very easy to deal with.

As I was waiting not one but two employees asked if I'd like a beverage.
The service dept had to order a small part for my oil change and never charged for this.

We were in the middle of our trip from Calgary to Northern SK then the check engine light came on in Saskatoon. The Saskatoon dealerships cannot take us in so called PA Ford. They accommodated us, solved the problem, and saved our trip. They were the friendliest, even gave our dog a bowl of water. Thank you, Lakeland Ford.

I know I won't be back.

My vehicle was in for recall work, but after I mentioned the check engine light was on, they went ahead and charged me the 1/2 hour shop time to also plug into the diagnostics (while it was already in a service bay) and look at a screen. Someone also took my truck for a drive without my permission. I was later told by a neighbor that my truck was seen speeding down a busy street, but I wasn't driving.

At no time was there even a mention of the inconveniences of having to bring the truck in a second time for the second recall on the same part. This time in a pandemic. I couldn't put it off as it was a block heater cord and we live where we live. Then they gave me no idea how long I'd have to wait, but a "promised by" time mysteriously appeared on the bill when they were done.

Then when I came to get the vehicle there was absolutely no one around. When someone finally did show up, it was some old guy without a clue and without a mask that made me just stand there as he tried to figure out the paperwork. Which he never did. As far as I could tell he thought I was trying to steal from them and sneak out on part of my bill. He wanted to charge me the quote total as well.

In the end I went in for recall service and paying $100.00 for a quote to change spark plugs. Which I already knew had to be done, as anyone would know, given the kilometers on the vehicle. So glad some pretend mechanic got to play act that they knew something at my expense. Literally.

I hope they had a good laugh about it though, and it was worth losing any future business from me.

The answer from management when these complaints were brought to their attention? They just had to charge me. Too bad. I even have a screenshot of one of their people telling me I should be happy I wasn't charged for the recall work. I was then blocked on all their social media accounts.

In my opinion it's most definitely the culture here thats causing the bad service, and from the top down is most likely, so this has to be a "definitely avoid".

Overly aggressive crooks. Read the fine print on ALL of it folks. These guys will say ANYTHING to make a sale. They don't give a rip abt your financing or your warranty. You're there for them.

Skip dealing with these clowns and find some folks who are honest.

Brad and Rene did a terrific job finding me the exact vehicle that I was looking for. They ensured that the vehicle had all of the options that I was interested in, and took the time to show me how to use those options (Rene showed me how to use the FordPass app, for instance). Everyone at Lakeland Ford was pleasant to deal with from start to finish. I highly recommend this business if you're interested in purchasing a new or used vehicle. Thanks again!

Customer service is an absolute joke. When they say they will call you back, you will be waiting days. Our vehicle has been in and out of there since November with nothing but issues that they couldn’t figure out. And if they did “fix it” something else would pop up. They tried the whole bribing situation so they wouldn’t receive a bad review but this is getting out of hand.

This is our one vehicle that we NEED. I have cancer and appointments in PA and Saskatoon every week which cost money and stress to begin with. We don’t need issues with a new vehicle as well, waiting for rental vehicles and hoping our suv doesn’t break down on the road to where we have to go. My husband has been dealing with the sales people, parts people and management and it just seems to go no where and I’m fed up, we don’t need this.

Would absolutely not recommend Lakeland Ford or dealing with them. Go somewhere else and save yourselves the headache.

Graham was a great salesman, and made sure I had all of the information I needed to make this purchase happen without feeling anxious about my decision. Ramneet in financing made the rest of this experience a breeze, and managers Nicole and Brad were very helpful as well. They even delivered our ride and picked up our trade! We live 3 hours away, and I'd reccomend them, hands down!

Our experience at Lakeland Ford was superb. We went there looking for a used truck. We left with a truck that leaves me wide eyed and smiling each time I start it, and a used car to replace my room mate's car.

The sales staff were extremely curtious and willing to accommodate our every need. This was my idea of an ideal car shopping experience. When it comes time to replace our vehicles, I'll be back in hopes of experiencing this kind of purchase again. Thank you Lakeland Ford.

We were somewhat disappointed that we didnt get the price for the exchange. Not happy with the tires our new vehicle came with. They have a lot of road noise and not that great on gravel.
We were very satisfied with our salesman. He did a great job.

Service rep was friendly and very helpful. The technician left the fog light wires tucked away in the bumper unplugged. Didn't discover for a day until they fell out and were dragging on the road.

Very friendly staff and a great facility but I looked at a truck last week base model f150 no frills v6/na 4x4 and the price they came back with was completely out of this world I was being told there were factory rebates employee pricing so i was expecting them to come in under 40 thousand as this was a very very basic truck and I was prepared to pay cash money, I got the impression it was some kind of screwy sales tactic or they want you to finance but almost $53,000 for this truck was absolutely crazy I spent about 10 minutes asking the salesman if he was for real and if there was a mistake on the price then I told him if that was the starting point I was going to walk, I drove over to nissan and bought a loaded frontier pro 4x for 13k less later that afternoon

I tried to book using their online service, and it's been 6 days and NO RESPONSE after the dummy email they send saying I would be contacted in 4 hours. Very disappointing. Don't offer online booking and not check your emails!

I brought in my 2016 f150 for recalls, they got fixed.however I brought up that my chrome bumper and grill were flaking and the service rep took pictures to send to Ford for manufacturers defects. I was suppose to get a call back from Lakeland Ford and I never recieved a call back about my bumper and fender. This all dates back to March 2019 and I tried to call them and nothing. I even tried calling the Service Manager and nothing and even tried to talk to the fella when I went in and got told he was busy and seen him hiding in his office. However I did get numerous phone calls and letters to trade in my truck.what for my truck has low kms. I just want my truck bumper/grill fixed and move on.thanks Lakeland for convincing me not to do business with you.

I've previously had great experiences at Ford Dealerships. However, this time was not very pleasant. I spent over a $1108.72 (parts and labor) to fix my car's broken muffler. I'm giving them the stars because they fixed the muffler (while charging me a huge markup as all dealerships do) and the lady and guy driving me to work after dropping off my car was very pleasant. However, after that was all said and done, they didn't bother to vacuum and clean up my car. I asked them to take pictures of wear and tear to my suspension because they recommended extra repairs. They could have even taken videos (everyone owns a smartphone right? !). However, they didn't bother and just said it was too difficult to do. I've been to Estevan Ford dealership and Saskatoon's Jubilee Ford and they were all very professional with making my car look presentable after oil changes or repairs. Some even threw in free repairs like changed a car light for me. I am not asking for free service. However, professionalism is very important. Even Kal Tire (low end chain) cleans up the car to look presentable. I am not going back there ever again. I'm going to ask my friends for recommendations in the future.

All repairs were done with competence, although a exhaust sensor was bumped accidentally by the mechanic when fixing the leaking oil pan, which caused the 'check engine' light to come on. Lakeland Ford said it would take care of it since it wasn't my fault. The staff at Lakeland Ford have always treated all customers like myself with courtesy and respect which I greatly appreciate. Lakeland Ford staff in Prince Albert, Sask.has always worked hard to meet and exceed my expectations for vehicle maintenance and safety. It is because of the quality staff that I will always drive a 'Ford' vehicle.
Today is July 18th, 2019 since my last paragraph (above) a few months ago. I had the vehicle repair done and also an oil change which went very smoothly. Thank you to "Kristen Bell" for arranging and taking care of my vehicle's needs. I was pleasantly surprised at the prompt service, and found myself heading home sooner than I expected. Again, the courtesy and respect from all the staff at Lakeland Ford is second to none. Until my next 'oil change', have an wonderful day. -billy der

Watch out, i just had a recall done on my airbags (recall 17S42). Everything was fine when i brought it in, now they want to charge me $308.15 for a faulty airbag switch. Go figure! Now there's a yellow blinking airbag indicator on my panel that was fine when i brought it in. Has this happened to anyone else or am i a lone wolf? BTW, i spoke to the service manager (Craig Hewitt), he told me to get out of his office. Nice PR.

Was gonna buy that blue Ranger in the showroom but this is one of the reasons why i don't deal with Lakeland Ford. Not to mention everyone's on their phone texting when they should be helping.

Watch out for Tyler if you deal with him. He sold my sister a vehicle that didn't work. He sold it to her without knowing the vehicle had issues. He was saying how it was "like new" as soon as the following winter hit the vehicle had so many issues and the dealership didn't want to do anything to help fix it
