We get the best care here! Staff is so friendly, they are so good with my crazy little puppy. We are so happy we picked this clinic!

They treat my dogs like they are family.follow up emails, texts, or phone calls to see how the pets are doing.

This review is for the entire staff at Lakewood Animal Hospital. My sweet Harley has been in the best care throughout his entire life. Today we said goodbye to our little boy with the help of all the compassionate and caring staff. From the moment we arrived, there was the sweetest welcome sign and saved parking spot for Harley. Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely and sympathetic front desk staff who quickly took us to our room. We had ample time to spend with our sweet almost 9 year old chihuahua, Harley. The euthanasia was discussed thoroughly, we never felt rushed. The assistants came in and explained everything and gave lots of necessary hugs. The room was very comfortable with soft music, clean and the perfect send off for our Harley. I will never forget this experience and only hope others see this review and decide to also give their beautiful animals the same kind of care. Words cannot express how you have made my grieving less painful. If we do get another dog in the future, I know where who we will be coming to. A special thanks to Dr. Cross & Dr. Sthamann for the past few really hard visits and for todays.

I've used four clinics in the first few months I have lived here (moved here from toronto in August) and Lakewood is hands down the best of the best. Organized, punctual, friendly, and most importantly (though a lot of vet clinics lack this aspect) they really know their stuff!
My Cat Lincoln almost died at the 24 hr clinic but when I pulled him from that clinic and brought him to lakewood they revived him and kept me updated every step of the way. I was ready to move back home for the safety of my fur family after the trust issues the first clinic gave me, but I would absolutely feel comfortable with them looking after any of my pets, even my service dog over night.
Lakewood is top notch and I am yet to be dissatisfied with the Veterinarians and technicians. I am so thankful to have found such a well educated and welcoming clinic! Thank you Lakewood!

Had to put our 12yr old dog down. We came in, in an emergency situation and they were waiting with a stretcher for him. They were very thorough, professional and forward. This was one of the hardest moments of our lives and they made it as easy as it could be. Thank you so much Lakewood Animal Hospital and staff! I have been taking my animals to Lakewood for many years. I always get really good service and my dogs are well looked after.

They are incredibly good with our cats. Very gentle. They explained everything clearly and were very precise with what was happening and what they were looking for.

Fantastic clinic! We have been taking our pets to this clinic since 1989. Dr Meredith Cross is the best out there. She always takes the time to explain our options and understands the individual needs of our pets. 100% recommend Lakewood. Big friendly staff, very caring and knowledgeable. We've had a few pet misadventures and they always check in to see how our fur-babies are doing, if we have questions about the treatments. The in-clinic care is excellent and their follow-up care is above and beyond.
