Lathey Pool

I'll give it a 5 since I spend my entire summer there when I was 10 years old. But that was back in 1962, lol. Guess it's changed. If I ever get back out to western canada I might go and have a dip and reminisce.

This pool is small and caters to smaller kids no deep end. That’s not my issue. The problem is that they only have one person collecting payment. We had to wait 20 mins in scorching 30 degree weather with blistering sun. The other issue is you have to pay whether you swim or not! We took our two grandkids to the pool. Grandma and I did not swim, but had to pay regardless. Why? We got nothing out of it. If you are so worried about people swimming, but not paying, there are different things that you could do to monitor that. Put stamps on peoples hand who cannot be in the water or put plastic bracelets on them. Not impressed.

Was very fun! Waterslide was very nice to be on since you propel your self faster or slower and was open roofed. Pool was very clean for an outdoor area. Only problems were that the lifeguards were not watching the waterslide and didn't stop people from going to soon, causing a few painful collisions. There were also boys who were throwing things off of the slide, and were not told to stop even after hitting someone with a ball.

I like the pool cause it’s close to where I live and I can go swimming for quite cheep but I hate the new slide

Nice big pool with something to do for all ages. Good food at concession.
