Lawson Civic Centre

Really nice rec facility. I’ve only used the pool so far, but it is designed really well for toddlers and kids.

I went there it is probably. Perfect but the thing is the curtains in the girls change room doesn’t cover as much but the other way it’s good

Very nice place to just hang out in general. They have a gym and a swimming pool and also a library and it's just across the mall too.

Very rude customer service! I was trying to explain why my refund for the cancellation has not arrive yet! And the agent that I talk to drop the call while I am still talking! Very Poor service! I'm so dissappointed!

Waves are greta shallow beach area for little ones. Small deeper area for bigger kids. Waves are lots of fun, but were a little much for some of the little kids I was with. Lakewood pool has the warmest Temps. Staff are always really friendly and helpful at this pool, hot hottub.

Was going to go for a leisure swim. Came early and went to the mall before hand. Came back and had a $50 ticket! Ruined that plan!

I drove 35 minutes to go swimming here. I entered and the pool was at "full capacity". There were maybe 20 people in there. The front attendant told us that we would be able to get in when others left and I saw 2 families leave, and nothing. We ended up leaving. Very disappointed. Maybe update your website? Waste of people's time.

Was a bit late so they said to us that they were at capacity. And that they needed more lifeguards. I said I am a lifeguard. But still didn't get to go swimming. Probably would have sucked with that many people I. There.

I have taken adult swimming lessons here from Jan to March 2023. The staff are nice, especially, Nate who was my swimming instructor. He is very patient, professional, polite and knowledgeable. I will definitely let my kids to take classes here in future. I recommend this place for swimming classes.

It has a hot tub and sauna which the other facilities don't have which I take advantage of when ever I'm there

Just add some fun! The music is not very loud.and open a cafe on site.the more you have it. If there is tea / coffee / juice / hot dog, it will be a nice bonus to a super vacation!

Life guard yelled very loudly and humiliated one of the children here bringing him to tears. Very unprofessional. Watch who you hire to work as lifeguards. These things should never happen.

Giving one star for the lack of changing tables in the universal changing rooms. Very tough to safely change a 4 1/2 month old, who likes to roll, on a bench that is set far from the wall with a large gap.

This is my favourite pool for swimming lessons as you can work out while you watch your kids swim! The attached library makes it easy for older siblings, 10+ to be in the library alone, to wait for other lessons to be done. I do wish they’d reopen their food services as it’s nice to be able to grab a hot snack when you’re there for a few hours, but I noticed all pools we’ve been to have been lacking food services this year.
