Don’t purchase extra product protection plans from Leons. Sales person don’t speak truth about insurance on the time of purchase.
We bought leather sofa in 2019 along with platinum complete protection plan from Saskatoon store. One sofa got tear in joint, contacted insurance company about 3 weeks ago, and they said tear not cover after 2 years. We contacted to store, they simple replied there is nothing they can do about it.

In insurance brochure it’s clearly mentioned accidental tear cover under 5 years damage. Also informed to customer service that sale person mentioned that everything is covered.

Now I don’t know why we payed extra dollars for useless insurance.

One of the pillows that came with our furniture was not sewn (it didn't have a zipper) and was covered up with a pillow case. How did I know this? I removed the pillow cases, to wash them last night.

Always go to Leons for whenever we need something around the house. Very happy with the the recent purchases we've made, and have always gotten great customer service from Chad. He answered all of our questions and was very helpful to make sure we knew what we were buying. Wasn't pushy or trying to force us into something we didn't want or need. He definitely was great to deal with, and would highly recommend going to Leons because of our experience with him!

We are waiting for the furniture since 18 December, 2021, that was the first delivery date given by The “LEON FURNITURE “…Yet, Didn’t deliver anything on the given time Afterwards, We tried to Contact with them, But, They we were not responding our calls, Even, We went to their Store, At that time, They we’re not accountable regarding the confirmed delivery date of all the furniture. Ordered a table for $1000 to be delivered. Arrived missing parts and damaged. After numerous calls and emails. They offers $75 back on my credit card and told me I would need to come into the store to pick up the missing parts (parts of small enough to be mailed via letter mail). Customer service (Amber) was resistant to help nearly every step of the way. For the cost of the table, I expect it to arrive undamaged and with all the parts. I don't think that is a big ask. If that is not done it should be corrected in a manner that is convenient to me.

Ordered a TV stand in May, and it came damaged. I called Customer Care and they asked for photos of the damaged pieces. They decided to order the pieces to replace the damaged ones, then the technician came to fix it with new parts and said that it was not worth his time (as there was too much damage) and might as well get a new TV stand. I called back, and we decided to order in a new stand, same style, instead of picking out a different kind.

Finally, got the new one this morning, and it also came damaged. It is now middle of December. I asked for a complete refund and they will not accommodate and will not give a full refund, which is VERY disappointing.

We will never come back and purchase anything from Leon's.

I ordered a couch from Leon’s and was immediately told by friends and family that I had made a mistake in doing so, as apparently Leon’s is unreliable when it comes to getting your furniture on time.

My couch is a special order, and the website told me as I ordered it that special orders would take 3-4 months for delivery.

After waiting 3 months I inquired about my couch. I was told that a representative would contact me to let me know how much longer it would be. One month went by with no contact. So I called again and was told the same thing. I let them know that they already told me that one month ago.

I just received a call that my couch will not be in until mid-February. The representative then offered to cancel my order that I made in July.

That same couch was advertised in a flyer I recently received. Which was upsetting to say the least, as they are actively trying to sell more of it to people while several months behind on the orders they already have.

I understand that supply chains all over are under stress due to the current situation, but their website should reflect that. I feel conned by them. If I knew it could be 7 months (if I can even believe them on that estimate) I wouldn’t have ordered it through them.

I will not be cancelling my order, as I don’t want to start the whole process over again. All I want is my couch.

I will make sure to never order through them again. Lesson learned. My friends were right.

This is a joke, ordered a firdge in the summer, told me ETA 2 month, okay, wait for 3 month nothing shows up, went to the store, they been rude, if you don't want we can refund you, new ETA end of Nov. Okay, wait until today, still nothing shows up, called in, checked for me there is no ETA at all. Great news. Ill go for refund then, no more Leon's. They don't keep there words.

Thank you, Morny and Damon, for helping me find a badly-needed sofa! They kept me up to date on the progress of my special order sofa from manufacturing to delivery, the pandemic-related logistical delays, and were generally patient with my impatience. I appreciated that my sofa arrived still wrapped in its shipping materials; not only was my sofa delivered in pristine condition, but there wasn't a mark on the shipping materials either! The next furniture purchase I'll need to make will be a bedroom set, and I'll be calling on Morny and Damon for sure.

Oh my god. DO NOT SHOP here. Worst service and theyre products are cheap and WAY over priced. Takes a really really long time to get what you ordered and thats even if they deliver it. I can find cheaper better quality stuff online that ACTUALLY arrives on time. Save your money and your sanity and shop somewhere else.

Damon Ross was the person we dealt with and we had a great experience! He was very clear on what was in stock and if not, when it would arrive. This was very important to us as we were setting up our new place. We bought more stuff from him as we liked the product and service very much. It has been over 3 months we have had the sofas and we love it.

I ordered a mattress from Leons. The sales staff was very courteous, helping me choose a firm one for my back needs and within my budget. Delivery came within 2 days. The 2 operators were also kind and courteous, also asking if they should take off their shoes before entering. The shopping experience was great.

Customer service and management wasn't helpful resolving anything. Products were delivered to our home broken multiple times. Nobody actually cares to help at the store. Just gave us the runaround and never provided any solutions.

Our washer broke down and we needed a replacement that can be installed by the weekend. We searched different stores and it's either the brand and model we wanted is not available or delivery problem. With Leon's, they both have the 2 brands and models we are choosing from and can be delivered on weekend, saturday before Father's Day. We ended up buying the matching dryer of our new Maytag washer, although the dryer is for delivery by October. But that's fine since our old dryer is still working. Many thanks to Keaton who helped us with our purchase and some queries about the item, and financing as well

I have ordered a lot of furniture during the past couple years and NOTHING has been more of a headache then dealing with Leon's. I ordered a sectional in February and it arrived middle of March - The delivery guys were very nice and respectful when delivering the couch - that is about the only good thing I can say about his experience. Once assembled - I realized the frame of the chaise portion of the sectional was broken. I notified Leon's immediately and they sent someone within a couple weeks to come look at it. He said it is too damaged for him to fix and parts will need to be ordered or more than likely, that section of the sectional should just get replaced as it is the frame that is broken. That was end of March! I also ordered an ottoman to go with the sectional middle of March and still nothing 4 months later. Also, within the 60 days the ottoman went on 'Save the Taxes' which ended up being 60 dollars cheaper than what I paid. I reached out and they wouldn't match the price. So that is also a lie. I have sent emails and received one call with a voicemail that was hard to understand but from what I can tell they said end of August to get my couch repaired. How do you pay for a new couch and sit on a broken one for half a year? Honestly, I never write reviews and rarely complain as I understand the customer service industry can be difficult but PLEASE take my advice and take your business elsewhere.

Horrible store. Nothing arrives as it should and some of which takes several months. They expect you to deal with the manufacturer once it’s delivered before you have even used it if there is a problem. Which can take weeks to resolve. Which for a company that size it should be done in house. Will never deal with them again. Ever! Go somewhere else.

Terrible customer service! Been there twice. NEVER greeted once. Called the manager twice. Both times they were "busy". Still waiting for a call back. CLEARLY not of any importance. And kind of cowardly in my opinion. I've heard of low pressure sales. But because of their total lack of professionalism they received NO sales from us! We went elsewhere and bought an entire new living room set! Note to retailers. Don't judge people by how old they are. What they are wearing. OR your own personal opinions of how much money you think people have or don't have! Wish I could give a negative rating.

Basically same with everyone. Ordered a couch online, checked for the availability of the couch and clearly was in stock as you can set your delivery date while ordering. Day of delivery came and not a single call or email informing you the status of your delivery. Called the store and was passed around from one department to another until was told that they will contact me once they have information. Used the chat application online and was finally told that the couch is not in stock and will take 3-4 weeks for it to be in-store. (Ergo you can only get this information when you dig for it yourself). They won't inform you at all that nothing is coming your way even when the delivery dates are already set. This is by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. As a customer I'm being patient. But you would think as professionals in the field that they would atleast communicate the issues properly.

Not impressed at all. Take 4 months to be delivered, loveseat was broken and am now having issues with the couch footrest less than a month after getting it home. Yes they fixed the loveseat already, but now its the couch. Am really not sure the quality of the furniture is worth what I paid for.

There was nothing in stock, we picked couches with one of the shortest delivery times which was 3.5 months. They still arrived 3 weeks late. Most of their stock is made in Asia, stored in Asia until purchased, and shipped from Asia.

We took advantage of a price adjustment when our couches went on sale for 20% off, but it took them almost four months to process it. When we finally got the refund it was significantly smaller than I thought. When I looked in to it, I realized they jacked up the prices just before putting the couches on sale. Greasy.

I called multiple times to get answers about our late couches and refund, but I found out our salesman had left the country. It seems like no one wants to help you if they didn't get commission on your sale. One person spoke with wouldn't help me and said a manager would call me back, but no one did.

Definitely won't buy here again.

I've talked to other friends and coworkers and we all have the same problem. They take our money and keep us waiting Months for the product, and asking for your money back will be hard aswell. The "System" likes to go down. Other times they put out recalls and some are just manufactured wrong.

Very disappointed in Our 2nd and last experience with a purchase from the Saskatoon location. We tried a number of beds in the showroom which were all in 'double bed' size. We chose one and orddered it in a king size which we were aware would come with a split boxspring. The salesperson indicated that the sleep warranty only applies to those who purchase their specific mattress encasements. I was disappointed in the quality of them and indicated that if such is the case, they should offer a variety and at least in a better quality. I insist on a high quality encasement that protects the mattress from everything yet is a breathable material- not plastic feeling. I wanted to purchase much higher quality encasements from a different store but this still would not support the waranty- the warranty onlyapplied if I purchased their poorquality "plasticy- feel" encasement. We decided to purchase the bed anyways as we found it comfortable in the store but definately not ther encasements. Bed arrives and delivery occurred as expected. Our mattress was not in it's original packaging which was odd. We put the bed together and the first night was no problem, however, significant problems started occurring in the nights that followed. Our mattress started to sag significantly within the first week and developing a large lump in the middle that increased in significance over the following week- it was like haveing a third person in the bed. We took itapart and realized the split boxspring was the issue. Each had a rounded metal outerframe with a sunk in middle part- leaving a big ridge running up the middle of the bed. I attneded to Leon's and looked at the display again and realized that the boxsprings we recieved were not the same material, structure or quality that we had tried out in the store - I was told by customer service that sometimes they use other boxsprings for displays - there was no mention of this during our entire purchase experience. I called and/ or attended to the store three times after the first week of purchase and no assistance could be obtained because we did not purchase the cheap encasements they initially tried to sell us. I had a reciept dated the same date as the bed purchase indicating that the bed was encased in better quality material the entire time. Still not one inch of assistance to rectify this- we were even willing to spend more money on a better quality boxspring that we thought we were ordering originally, but there was not any consideration of the incorrect boxsprings they sold us- not even a discount offered. We were stuck with a $2000 on 'sale' mattress with a really awful boxspring we did not choose and no assistance whatsoever from Leon's staff after the purchase was made despite several attempts. We went to one of their competator stores and explained what had occurred and our experience- the competator sold us a king version of the boxspring we originally tried at Leon's and discounted it for us with consideration of the awful service we recieved from Leon's up until that point. He personally attended when our new boxspring was delivered and confirmed the awfulness of the boxspring sold to us by Leon's- "extremely poor quality" were his words. I would never trust, much less make a purchase from Leon's again- deceptive and the worst followup customer service I have ever experienced in home furnishings.

Love my new sectional. Nhat was great to deal with at Leon’s, very helpful, followed up and even found an extra section for me that was ridiculously cheap and let me know. Would definitely go back and see him.
Their delivery guys were so helpful carrying out my old couch for me, and bringing in my new couch. They were very fast, super friendly and had great customer service.
Was quoted 5-7 weeks and it was here in 3. I know that no one can rub a crystal ball and see when something will arrive from across country with different stops along the way, so I wasn’t expecting it for another few weeks. A+

Terrible. One (1) star for the furniture being intact. Didn't deliver because the drivers were lazy. My mother took the day off work waiting for the delivery of her sectional.

He didn't make it to the other half of their run. Worst part is they lied about coming to the house and said nobody was home and then say also phoned which was a double Iie.

Paid private delivery. Mother hasn't been reimbursed. Goodbye Leon's.

I went in a few days ago and the older lady who was working in the refrigeration department came up to me and asked if I was looking to buy a fridge and asked if I’d be needed financing. I said I was just looking but if I did then I’d be getting it cash. Then she said “I guess you guys must have gotten a big tax refund! ”. Apparently the only way I would be able to afford a fridge is if I got a huge tax refund. Can’t help but think she wouldn’t have said this to a white person.

Just left Leon's. We were there 30-45 min. We were looking to buy a couch, loveseat and king mattress. In that time, not one person came up to us to ask if we wanted help. When in fact, we had one salesman walk right past us and didn't even acknowledge us. I have been a Leon's customer for several years and never have I seen such a level of indifference to a sale. I will be taking the $5000 cash I was going to spend and I will spend it elsewhere.

I am not typically one to leave a bad review especially having worked in retail myself but this experience has been ridiculous.

I purchased a couch from Leon's in Saskatoon on December 27th for the main reason that I was told it would be delivered within a time frame that was reasonable for me (other competitors had couches i liked in my price range, but most would not deliver within under a month). I currently do not have any other furniture to sit on in my living room and have to sit on the floor until the couch arrives. I was told it would arrive on January 15th in the Regina warehouse as I live in Regina. I even confirmed this with the salesperson because I wanted to ensure the date was correct.

January 15th came around and i did not receive a phone call to coordinate delivery. I decided to wait a few days in case it was delayed slightly. I called the Regina store on January 20th and was unable to get any information due to their systems being down. I called again to the Regina store on the 21st in the morning and was told it would take six more weeks to come in with no explanation. When i tried to question why, i was told i would need to call the Saskatoon store and they couldn't do anything for me. I called the Saskatoon store following that, and spoke to someone who told me they would have to speak to someone in merchandising about it and they would call me back. 4.5 hours later, i hadn't received a call back so i called the store again. Once again, the systems were down so they couldn't help me. Two hours later, i finally got a call back. Once again, I am told it won't be here until mid-February as there was an issue or something with the manufacturer. I asked how i was told January 15th in the first place then if it was really going to be a month later as i would not have purchased it if it would take two months to come in and why no one followed up with me to tell me the delivery was delayed. Apparently my salesperson is on vacation until January 28th and he will have to contact me then with more information about my questions. I asked if there was any other options i had or anything they could do, even a discount, and was told my salesperson would call me to talk about this when he was back.

I am beyond frustrated at this point and i am extremely disappointed. I realize this is something out of the employee's control, but even the interactions i have had with them haven't been great and no one seems concerned about it at all. No has been willing to try and help me figure out something in the mean time for the extra month that i have to wait with no furniture. And i still have to wait another week for the salesperson to get back to get any resolution. Very disappointing.

Ordered mattress online, 1st thing is just got a call from them on the next day that I’m gonna get my order after 1 and half month while online it says I can get that in 3 to 5 days. 2nd thing got a call after 3 days that I can pick up my mattress anytime so when I went there to pick up and the mattress was not in box it was open, again online it says it comes in a box. So just cancelling my order and getting refund which I’m gonna get after 7 days.
Very disappointing.

I recieved a call from Chrystal the next morning and sat with her that day. Her sense of urgency, personality and customer care was amazing. She assured me this is not a regular occurence and made no excuses for what happened with our experience. Chrystal apologized and remedied the whole situation and cleared the whole difference the couches of almost $200, we are now just waiting for the new couch to come in. Thank you very much Chrystal and Levi in changing our experience with Leon's.

I would not recommend buying anything from here. We purchased a couch from there may 20th of 2019 and have had nothing but issues. Within in the first month the couch started pilling so they sent someone out to look at it and they couldn't believe it was only a month old, they thought we must have bought it years ago. We also has issues with the recliners, storage area and cushions falling through the framing of the couch. They had to send someone out 4 times to try and repair/figure out what parts it needed, it has never actually been repaired in the 6 months. I have talked to Leon's saskatoon over a dozen times about the issues and when it's getting fixed or if it can be replaced. After hearing nothing in over 2 months and the issues just getting worse because the parts havent come in in over 4 months i called in and they finally said they would replace or exchange the couch. So we go in on thursday November 28th the day the customer care agent told me to because a sale was going on, we found a couch and were okay with paying the difference. But they started trying to say we paid less then we actually did so in pulled up my bank statement showed them what they paid and said I can go get the receipt. Someone apparently went into the system and adjusted what we paid after we paid and they needed to get the finance manager. I waited for them for over an hour watched the finance manager help 6 customers (I counted) that came after me, so I left after asking how long it would still be and them telling me they cant give me a time frame. We still havent resolved any issues I'm waiting now to talk to head office.

Bought one set from Leon's last October. The couch was damaged within a month. Poor make. Replacement for it came damaged. They asked if we would like to order a new one.

Ordered a different sectional in June. I was told August (6-8 weeks) for delivery. Then they told me October. And now November. Reason for delay: special order. Special order being I ordered dark grey. Imagine if I ordered red or burgundy! So frustrated.

I don't understand why this whole process is taking so long.

Some stuff is okay but they have the worst customer service go somewhere else please. You'll regret buying furniture from Leon's I've had problems with 2/3 if the things I've bought and not much help at all after I paid and they didn't care about me anymore
