Extremely difficult to deal with. 2 times they said they tried delivering my package. The first time I was not able to make it to the door and the second time no one came to my door at all. Been trying to arrange a pickup with them and have had to deal with very frustrating customer service reps.

The package is "out for delivery" during 3 business days, there was not a single delivery attempt, and it is still at the Loomis location

These guys are terrible no door hangers when they miss a delivery, drivers don't call even if the instructions are there to do so and half the time I don't think they even attempt delivery, I'd ship with anyone BUT these guys can post Purolator etc

Had an order come from Japan, only to be stopped in Saskatoon. Loomis expect me to drive 6 hours to pick it up.
I’m not in the business of picking packages up, can anyone recommend a good, or even a mediocre delivery company? This one is terrible, don’t waste your money on this service.

My last three packages from Canpar have been out for delivery for 3 days. Even when I call customer service they promise to have it delivered first thing the next day and it still doesn't show up. Our business has let all suppliers know to never ship with Canpar ever again

UPDATE:
It is now 4 days after I posted this and still no package, I have been promised by customer service 3 times that it will be delivered tomorrow and still nothing

I just thought I’d leave a positive comment regarding this company. Twice now I have ordered from a company in Ontario and they have used Canpar for the shipping company, dhl (loomis) in Saskatoon. Both times I have ordered I’ve been given the date and time of pick up and the current location of my orders. I always have received them on time and in excellent condition. First time I was at home, second time was today but I was working. The item was left on my porch like I asked for and within a few minutes of being delivered I received a message from Canpar say “delivered successfully”. These guys in my mind are wonderful and would recommend for any of your shipping needs.

Loomis is a fraud. There is no actual shipping company they just hold packages and don’t ship them out. Dhl and Loomis head office can not get ahold of anyone. This place is a non existent fraud.

The worst company ever. A slip was left at our door and the driver didn't even knock (we were home) and then when I called to pick up the lady told me to check updates on the site. It says its on hold but yet I cant get it. The lady was rude and unhelpful over and over. This is the 3rd time we have had an item from this company and each time its a utter nightmare. New training for employees should be required. My husband and I are very frustrated

They sure hold strong to their reputation. 6 days my package tracking has said “on truck for delivery”. You can’t call to ask about it because nobody answers the phone, you can’t leave a voice because their mailbox is full. If you go there they say “it will be delivered today” but it never shows up. Worst service ever!

They keep loosing my fricken packages. I have had a few packages that I never ended up receiving… i think they just keep some of the parcels. Shady company. Hundreds upon hundreds of $$ missing. They never reimburse either.would give negative stars

ZERO x Infinity. This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a “professional service”. Absolute disaster! My package has been in my city for 8 days and for 8 days I have tried every single method of pickup/delivery options to no avail. No one has been by my house with it, not once. We have cameras and every day it says “delivery not accepted”. I finally got ahold of DHL customer service and they said I would have it today and that the driver would call me and leave it at my address. Didn’t happen. Instead, they text me that it is at the nearest facility for pickup at 5: 59 pm. They close at 6pm! I swear this delivery service goes to great lengths to completely ruin their credibility, and it shows based on what I’ve seen in these reviews.

I literally set my DHL shipment from delivery to pick-up since I knew how notorious they are with messing up deliveries. I go to Loomis to find out they tried to deliver it anyway. And to think I'm doing myself and Loomis a favour by doing some of the work for them, but they still manage to screw it up! I have my expectations set so low and Loomis still manages to disappoint, I'm actually impressed how consistently disorganized this place is.

This company is absolutely garbage, they have incompetent employees, the reason their delivery prices are so low is because they true don't give a $hi+ all they see is money money money and don't care about customer service, if they did care they may actually have a better base of people who actually want to ship with them! Believe me ship with ANYONE else save yourself the hassle of working with these incompetent people!

Called multiple times during business hours without an answer. Even stopped in at 2 in the afternoon to pick a package with the store being closed.finally got ahold of them via phone to be rudly spoken to and told my package was returned after being held for only 2 days. Not set up for people that work at all. They close at 6pm I work until 6. I tried to pick up and its still on the truck they said. This place is a joke and should be shut down! Basically have to take time off work to get a package.

This is the most pathetic delivery company in existence! They lie about making a delivery, they never leave a notice that they attempted to deliver. The Saskatoon location should be put out of business! They are not responsive at the depot and keep their answering machine on as they do not want to have to deal with irate customers. This is the not the first time I have had to go pick up my package. It strikes me as strange that I have to go pick up a package that I paid to have delivered. Never use this Company.

I dread going here everything to pick up a package. They never know where it is, the staff are friendly enough but I feel bad for them. The system or organization of this place seems to be an issue.

After many years of sending an envelope to the same place every second Friday for delivery the next Monday, I will never use Loomis again! The last envelope I sent arrived 8 days late with no explanation why it didn't leave their depot, and no apology from anyone. When I asked about a refund, they said they don't refund on ground deliveries. A time before this when my package was late, they said they don't refund because of mechanical breakdowns. In other words, pay a premium for 2 day delivery, and if it doesn't get there in 2 days, that's not their problem. I spoke with several agents and each one of them was extremely rude and very unprofessional. I have since switched over to Canada Post Express who offer a 2 day guaranteed delivery, a tracking number, and are half the price of Loomis. My advice is to look at all other options before choosing Loomis!

I called the Loomis depot 3 separate times to arrange a delivery that I never should have had to call about. This isn’t the first time! It’s every single time I get a package I have issues. DHL really needs to find a company that can better service the area. The only reason for the 2 stars is because DHL them selves stepped up to return the call and was good about follow through.

They sent a message saying I refused delivery when they never showed up. I called and they admitted to never trying to drop it off in the first place.just left it sitting on their shelf. Ended up just driving over to their warehouse and picking it up myself.

Delivered my expensive package to the wrong house. Tried to call Loomis Saskatoon to inform them of this. 15 calls later, they gave me the number for DHL headquarters. The phone number was a dead line. I had to drive around town to find my package on my own. TERRIBLE customer service. Avoid at all costs. If I could give 0 stars I would.

My experience is much the same as others here.

1. The driver marked my packages as "refused delivery" for several days in a row without even attempting to deliver them.
2. The desk staff is not interested in dealing with local driver problems. They cut me off and said I have to phone DHL customer service.
3. When I spoke directly with the driver on the phone he admitted that he did not attempt delivery for 2 days In a row because I did not answer my phone when he called me early in the morning. I don't answer phone numbers I do not recognize, so I guess I don't deserve to have my package delivered? I waited all day for deliveries that he never even attempted, despite the fact that I received text messages saying that my packages were out for delivery those days.
4. When I tried to tell him that not being able to answer my phone is not a reason to not attempt delivery, and certainly not a reason to lie and say I refused delivery, he hung up on me while I was mid sentence.

This local courier clearly has little regard for their own policies, and they're rude and dismissive when you have concerns. When the driver finally came to deliver on the third day I asked his name. He refused to give it to me, and as he walked out the door he threatened that I will never get another DHL delivery again.

This is my experience with the local DHL.

Lowest quality of customer service, only open 5hrs a day. Terrible absolutely terrible. If they can't find your package over the phone go down there and make them physically look good chance it's there.

Tried to call and the answered finally and in the middle of the conversation just hung up on me and didn’t even finish the conversation that we were having the worst customer service I have ever seen if there was a way to give negative stars I would never going through is company again in my life they don’t keep track of where there packages are and they don’t know when they will arrive

Horrible customer service. I had a heavy box delivered to me at my apartment. The guy did not check my ID at all, and left it with me at the front door to carry up myself, when I had a 1 year old in my arms & no help. Their tracking service is a joke. Nothing updates for days, so it's pointless. Our packaged was delivered over a week late after we had to call customer service & found out they misplaced it. They also said they attempted two pickup attempts for my return, but they haven't called or come to my door once, so I have to call customer service yet again. I will NEVER deal with this poor company again or order from Walmart.ca ever again, since this is who they rely on to deliver their products.very poor. 0/10.

I will never order from a company that uses DHL as shipping again. The extra hidden shipping fees made me a little upset. The holding my package in Alberta and not sending it further is what made Me angry. I was told package was being held in Alberta and that I had to pay to get it to Saskatoon. They didn't tell me why I had extra shipping fees and they couldn't tell me where In Alberta my package was. When I asked to pay for it there in person, that also wasn't allowed. Way to have no information and no solutions for me. I hope no one else has to experience this.

Very slow staff, very long wait for me to drop off a parcel that already had a label. Parking lot backs a loading dock, which is annoying when you're in a rush and a truck pulls in.

Absolute incompetence with Loomis in Saskatoon! Everyone note that DHL uses Loomis for their Saskatoon deliveries. @DHLCanada you need a new partner. Deliver for DHL some of the most incompetent people I've dealt with. Been here before n it was terrible service in person.
DHL made me sit n wait for 6 hours saying it'll be here today talking to a driver and customer service and found out only by calling again it will be tomorrow. I would have been waiting all night n needed the parts today. DHL and these terrible employees screwed me n don't even care.

Completely useless! I haven't had a single package delivered without having to babysit them. They even attempted to mark an undelivered package as delivered, so DHL would think they were fulfilling their contract.

So I ordered a single tire for my pickup through an online shop because u couldn't find the tire anywhere else, they sent it through loomis (first mistake there) loomis' tracking order said I would get the tire on the 23 so I made plans for the 24 to bring it to the shop that had my wheels 3 hours away. So no tire shows up on the 23 and no tire shows up on the 24. I have been waiting all day for thwm to show up and Noone did. Then they proceeded to update the tracking saying Noone was home when they didn't even show up.
Phone there store an hour and a half before closing and no answer

Ordered something online. They shipped using Loomis Express. Both me and the seller waited 2 weeks after Loomis picked up my order and then just sat on it. After about a week of Loomis giving me and the seller the run around over the phone, I finally got my package. I had to laugh cause the package was almost bent in half. I refused to accept the package and thankfully I'm at least getting a refund from the seller. Avoid Loomis at all cost.

I wish I can give 0. My package was hold for half month and never deliver it. I have to find it out on hold myself and pick it up. When I ask the front desk why my package is on hold, where the address was right, she just BS her way out. The deliver driver is so un professional which he saw me waiting at my door step, he was trying to throw me my package which is fragile. I wish they out of business soon. When you call the customer service and request a call back. 1 month passed, they never called back. When you using their online chatting. They will reply after couple hours. I don't understand is that call live chat where you wait couple hours?

They allegedly tried to deliver several times, even though we were working from home at those times. Plus, they never left anything to let us know they tried to deliver, so we only found out our package was in town when the sender asked us about it and sent us a tracking number. Called several times, could not get a hold of them on the phone to find out where our package was. Worst service ever.

If I could give zero starts I would. I ordered from Amazon which was shipped with Pitney Bowes, which apparently was only the supplier of the label. After being lied to and got the run around from Pitney Bowes, I found out my package was shipped with CanPar. After attempting to call CanPar's customer service line and it running busy every single time, I realized the postal code they gave for a pick up location is Loomis Express.

So after 2.5 weeks later I went to Loomis Express and picked up my package. I ordered online so I would not have to pick up in person during a pandemic and yet here I was. When I asked why they didn't even attempt to deliver it, I was lied to and said that there was a storm and they were behind with deliveries. This storm did not exist on the date she gave me which I pointed out to her. She continued to do a terrible job lying to me and said that it was going out tomorrow for delivery.

Absolute joke of a company. I let the supplier on Amazon know my experience and to reevaluate their choice working with this company as you can see this is not an isolated situation.

I went in to pick up a parcel, I didn’t not have my tracking information with me but I did have my drivers and everything else. They said they can’t find the package and it’s not in. I left and came back 30 minutes later with my tracking info and surprise the package was right out front with my name on it. Seems like it’s intentional. But it is what it is.

Great when they bother to show up! Wow waiting 3 days for a pick up that was scheduled to go out yesterday and won't be going out until tomorrow if they are considerate enough to stop by and grab my package from the pick up box outside my door! I am fuming!

Wish they had 0 star. I don't usually post my reviews like that but this is among the worst businesses ever. I could have ignored DHL and used other carriers but some cosmetics brands I ordered from keep using them. They just came to my place and left the notes saying that we were not home (when we are) without any attempts to contact us. Then after failures to receive the parcels, I had to try to find out where to take the parcels by myself without any information on the notes. They even don't have a lot of locations for picking up. There's only one in Saskatoon which only opens after 12pm and I have to travel more than 10 km to take my parcels. If you have right at which carriers to choose from, never ever use DHL

I had I time sensitive package to be shipped from Chilliwack BC to Saskatoon SK, approximately a 17 hour trip. I was promised 2 day service and paid a premium price.
It is now almost 8 days later and the package was delivered to the wrong company despite having called and requesting to have it held at their depot. This has cost me a major contract and now I can't even get my parts as they are lost in the shipping recieving department of the wrong place.
I have made several attempts at contacting some sort of supervisor, voicemail etc and have not had any calls returned. The people on the phone tell me I am not eligible for any compensation and that they are not responsible for their complete lack of customer service and incompetence in handling important items
I will never use this service again and recommend that no one else does either if they value the items they are shipping.
There are other options that will get your items shipped faster for a fraction of the price and without the rude treatment, lack of customer service and accountability.

These guys delivered a package before our office was open, hours are posted on the door.of course no one was here to accept the delivery. Complete lack of common sense and absolutely no regard for peoples needs. Didn't even fill out when they would attempt to deliver again or where the package could be picked up even though those fields are right there on the paper they stuck on our door. 0 stars

I am living in Vancouver area and used to use DHL services when I have shipments from China. Drivers always arrived my home around 2 pm and they are always perfect services.
But, but, but I never knew how terrible the service it is in Saskatoon, the dhl website shows the shipment is already here, but nothing to updated after arrived at Saskatoon. When I called dhl after noon even the customer service center doesn't know where the shipment is. I need the shipping very emergencily and I prefer to pickup it. But there is no number to call. And the dhl told me somebody will call me after 3 hours. What a shabby service. It is time to leave dhl and go to ups or fedex.
Never never use this DHL service if you are in Saskatoon area.
