Lucien Lake Regional Park

Nicely treed in and private sites. They deliver the firewood and even covered it with a bag in case it rained while we were away from the site. Seems like a very clean well run place. My only complaint is that the lights are very bright in the campsites at night

We enjoy this Regional Park for its convenient location to home. We have been to this park regularly over the last 12 years, and my husband came regularly with his family as a child. They have various types of sites for camping - tents, camper trailers, and RVs. Not all sites are equipped with 30 amp, which in this day and age is not optimal. The majority of the sites here are 15 amp and does not allow you to run an air-conditioner or multiple appliances. The washroom/shower facilities are usually well maintained. The park has a great concession booth for food and ice cream treats. They have a mini-golf and playgrounds for children, baseball diamonds, and a large soccer pitch. They also have a great little booth for events - equipped with a fridge, stove, sink area, tables and chairs. It has a connected fenced-in area with picnic tables. We have rented this a few times for family BBQs, which is affordable. The beach area is on the small side, but their sand choice could be better as it is more of a rocky sand and not as nice on the feet as it could be. They have a grassy picnic area next to the beach, which is nice. The lake has great fishing and has a boat launch and parking. The reason for my 3 stars is mainly for the power issue as well as booking availability. We love the park, but not wanting to move sites every couple of weeks throughout the summer. We would consider a seasonal site if they upgraded to 30 amp.

Be careful if towing anything over 15'. Some sites are fine but it let's you book sites you could never get in.

Nice lake that's very close to Humboldt. All the amenities you need for a weekend (or week) at the lake. Concession with all. Kinds of cooked food and snacks/drinks. Mini golf course, ball diamond, beautiful playground for he kids and of course a nice beach to soak up the sun on a hot day. Showers and washrooms are clean and tidy. We will be planning a family getaway to the lake soon!

We had to cancel our reservations so we called them. They told us we had to call a different place for the cancelation and refund. That place told us they have nothing to do with it and that we had to call the first place for it because they are the ones who handle it. So we called back, then they said it's not 72 hours notice like their website says but a weeks notice so if we want to do it we have to send an email- when we first called them they didn't say any of this. So we sent the email, 2 weeks later we still have no reply, no refund and they never canceled our reservation.

Great lake, on the smaller side but that keeps it from being really busy which I prefer. The campsite was a little small but nice tree coverage and very private. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Only complaint is that the beach was very rocky but I'd definitely come back again!

It was ok. Park was small. "Beach" was disappointing. Power and water were out in the washrooms while we were there. Rented a canoe, that was nice. Staff was friendly.

Great staff, beach is always clean. Minigolf, bicycle trail, boating. Have great food near the entrance.

It was nice only thing they should have hot water in the bathroom so it would've killed the covid

Booked a electric site month and half ago. Talked too a girl at bookings and she said my 30ft 5thwheel with a slide would fit lots of room for dining tent. Took a drive a week later ttoo check it out and no way would I get in there without chainsaw and no neighbors across the road. Called back too change sites and was told it would cost me $38.to cancel that site and had to pay again for other site which we did. Now were at far end of campsite no power but lots of room. My only thing is the people running the show could have just exchanged my site at no charge! Or the ones in charge of this would know what fits and what doesn't when you book. The park board should rethink this policy when they hire inexperienced personal! Nice concession though! PS now its 3 weeks later and just got my credit card bill and never did get a refund for the canceled site so basically I paid for 2 sites one electric and the one we stayed in without power IM really impressed now. Should have rented a cabin at Candle would have been the same price. Called there and nobody's getting back too me. The board has to hire smarter staff not just their own kids! NOW IM GOING TO GIVE YOU 1 STAR!

Lucien lake is a beautiful place to go camping or to just spend the day. It has multiple play structures which the kids love. The food shack makes excellent tasting food and has a great selection. I will continue to bring my family here.

Great place to bring kids. Two fantastic play grounds. The sites are very private and have lots of solid trees to tie a tarp or hammock too. The lake is small and can get quite busy on a weekend but it's a cute place to go swimming. The staff are awesome and friendly. I'd highly recommend this place and will come back again!

What a great and beautiful campground. Clean. Very very clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Concession with snacks at a reasonable price. Lots of places to swim and launch boats! Mini golf was fun $2 also for the family!

My favourite place in the summer! Shallow enough for my infant, plus a sweet park just walking distance from the beach!

Calming experience. Beautiful time of year to go and get away from work and the city.
Only downside was that one shower was needing repairs. But Beautiful place

Stayed for 7 days, Showers were cold, no potable water available, laundry was locked. Best week ever!

I love the lake and the parks here! The place is well maintains and the showers are awesome.i wish they had drinking water.it's the only thing holding this place back
