Luiggi's Pasta House

This used to be the best Italian restaurant in Regina, but now its a bit disappointing. This restaurant used to be so good, food used to tasted fresh and homemade and had tons of flavour, but now its mediocre. The service was slow, and the food was okay at best. The Alfredo sauce is pretty bland and watery, and the noodles looked and tasted like they came from a box, and the chicken in the chicken Alfredo was dry and tasteless. Not sure if they cut costs or changed management or something but this place is not nearly as good as it once was.

Have been coming to Luiggi's for 30 years now. Still the best Italian food in the city. Service is quick and friendly and the food delicious. They have the best cesear salad hands down.

The Bruschetta is to DIE FOR, and their serving sizes of pasta can easily be shared. The Alfredo pasta sauce was delicious, and the chicken was perfectly cooked as well. Our waitress was more than helpful and very attentive to our table. Will definitely come back the next time I am in Regina!

Is anyone managing the front of the house?
Got there got our drink in about 10 min so not too bad. The waitress dropped off the drinks and took off. Didn’t ask us if we ready to order which we were. About 10 minutes later came to the table across from us and figure ok now we get to order. Nope never came by again. Finally after another 10 minutes I see her and wave to her, it shouldn’t take 25 minutes to order!
After taking our order she may have came by one more time. We could have used refills but didn’t get until we asked the girl who brought our food out. Even then our empty glasses sitting on the table, shouldn’t she ask if we would like refills?
We both enjoyed our meal. I’ll give them that.
Agin we are sitting there an no waitress coming back around. Finally got up to get our bill.

Now I don’t blame the 14-15 year old girls serving us. But the whole time I didn’t see anyone that looked like a manger running the place! Also the staff you have I can see they are trying and maybe a little over worked and under trained.

Get yourself a good front end manager!
Because on this day there wasn’t one present!

The best pasta I've had in the city. Friendly and accommodating staff. And their gluten free buns are made inhouse.

Friday night so it was extremely busy. Young waitress tried her best. My meal was covered because I waited for my food for over an hour and twenty minutes. First time going back to Luigi's in a decade. It was ok.

The food always tastes great, but every time I order pasta for delivery theres almost no sauce. It usually dries by the time it arrives so it's just noodles and dry spices. Which is super unpleasant. I'll probably never order pasta for delivery again.

Great and friendly service from the staff. The food was flavourful and atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Will definitely visit again.

Went for my little neices birthday and all was very good. Food was great (maybe a little pricey) and they were good with the kids.

I am celiac and was very impressed with the gluten free options. I tried the Pescatore and it was delicious and included bread. The service was also very good. Thank you. I look forward to coming back!

Great food and great portions. Haven't been in years. The menu is smaller than I remember but it's still super good.

Place was clean. Service was good and prompt, server was attentive. Food lacked the authenticity. But overall was ok.

I ordered delivery, which was decently quick and the food was still hot. However, the food itself was not very good. I ordered two chicken alfredos and the chicken was completely unseasoned, bland, and very dry. The sauce was also incredibly bland, it really didn’t have much of a taste at all. I’m incredibly disappointed that two pastas of this quality cost over 50$. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t order from here again.

Its renovated since i been there last. Brighter now. Our booth was really tight but we are slim people. Menu was standard. Service was a little slow.

A great mix of excellent food, excellent service, and a wide range of food options. Very good Gluten Free options as well.

I have never had a bad meal at Luiggis. We shared chicken parm and fries, it was enough for 2. Very friendly staff.

This is one of those places that when one visits family in Regina, they take you to. From a friendly atmosphere to the menu options, this is a great place for a family dinner. They offer gluten-free buns, pasta, and other dining options without compromising on taste or service. Safe for folks with celiac and wheat allergies from personal experience.

Not what it was 30yrs ago but the food is good. Entry is awkward especially for handicapped ️.

Outstanding service! The food is even better! Food portions to pricing is crazy. I feel like you are getting double the food for what you pay for. Will definitely be going back many more times!

Good food $3 for a small scoop of ice cream $2 would have been better otherwise overall it was good

On god there were no peppers in my lasagna, 10/10 customer service + great food with no peppers

Been coming here since it first opened (once or twice a year, this certainly has been the first time I wasn't happy, I get that we all have bad days but being a better restaurant I don't expect a grouchy waitress, seemed very disinterested in being there which in itself drops the tip from 30 to 20% for me but the food itself was definitely approaching mediocre and the rolls they brought us were ice old in the middle. At this point just didn't feel like mentioning just maybe be a long while before we try again if ever

The red house wine was terrible, I love mussels, but they tasted old, and no taste to the sauce couldn't even finish them. P. C.freeze mussels taste so much better, and cheaper.

Wow hadn’t been to Luigi’s for quite some time. What a great pasta house, although there other items on the menu. There is a great variety of pastas and sauces to mix and match as well as some on the menu. So I ordered the blackened chicken with linguine and a sauce. Was very good.

Ordered and prepaid with additional gratuity online for delivery, which said would take 25 to 50 mins. However, received a text message indicating it would be 1 hour and 25 mins. If this was the case, we would have opted to pick up or order from somewhere else. We tried calling the restaurant, but got the voicemail. We received our delivery 1 hr and 40 mins later, which the food was either cold or lukewarm. Lesson learned that this is not a place to have food delivered from. Perhaps Dine-In service would have resulted in better service and better tasting food, but with the pandemic, this won't be happening anytime soon.

We had ample portions and it was all served piping hot (except, of course, the salads).

Have been waiting 8yrs for my husband to get time to go and finally went with the kids. Was the most amazing food and service just like I remembered!

Always really nice staff, the buffet has always been delicious but I noticed during our last visit the meal I ordered was anything but fresh and It was a little smelly. I tried the meatballs and they tasted store bought and old. My pasta was from at least a couple of days ago and the meat sauce didn’t smell or taste that great. I don’t know if chef Ramsay has ruined all restaurants for me but forewarned don’t expect a lovely fresh meal from luiggis. Honestly I would go to east side Mario’s for pasta after this experience.

There was a lot of hype around this restaurant so I decided to try their pizza. One of the toppings apparently were no longer available so I got a call about that and substituted, but then it took over an hour to get my order - I even had to call and remind them that I am still waiting, pizza was alright, but certainly not worth the long wait for it - pizza should not take over an hour to prepare and deliver.

Save your money people, thoroughly unimpressed with their pasta, ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken for delivery last night. Might as well have melted butter and cream in the microwave and thrown it over noodles. Blandest sauce I’ve ever tasted. Frozen dinners at Walmart have more flavour than this place. Oh yea, no napkins or utensils with delivery too, no garlic bread or side with the pasta, 22 bucks + delivery for 2 dollars worth of noodles and cream. Never again

I ordered fettuccine gigi, chicken piccolo Monday and the seafood bisque souo. Everything is amazing as always. But this is my first time having the soup and it is by far, absolutely AMAZING

Love the spicy Sicilian linguine.you get your money's worth and more both in pasta and sauce. No little dollop of pasta and sprinkling of sauce here. The sauce in itself is a meal it's so good. Servers are very and price is very reasonable how to round 16 to $18 for pasta dish.

Was not a fan of the brunch. Bacon was disgusting. Sausage over cooked. Juice watered down. On an upside the desserts were delicious

I’m astonished this place has high ratings! First of all, the service was below average and the food was overpriced. The hostess was rude and made my friend and I feel like annoying nuisances for wanting to sit in a booth elsewhere from where she originally placed us. I ordered a classic chicken alfredo and it tasted microwaved. The alfredo sauce was definitely canned, no name brand and there was way too much of it. The chicken was fake and the pasta was whatever. This plate should have costed no more than $7–better yet, it should be banned from human consumption. Shockingly, it was priced at $26. Shame and a scandal. Biggest waste of money and the grossest pasta I’ve ever had at a restaurant. SMH.

The Meat sauce and Gigi sauce seemed a little not quite themselves this time. The meat sauce was watery and the Gigi sauce seemed to be missing a spice. Still a very good meal but hope the sauces are a little more on point next time like they usually are. Service was very good.

I've been eating here for 30 years. It's always good. We do all out family special occasions here. Love the Alfredo sauce. Still number 1 for taste for me and I've tried Alfredo in many countries. Haven't tried it in Europe yet though

Friendly staff, and it’s evident that they have amazing food since it was very busy. Try the veggie lasagna, chicken Luigi or piccolo mondo!

Absolutely fabulous, we had stopped going there for a number of years. However over the last year and half they have done a great job of bringing my family and inlaws back to their restaurant. Good food and good value for that food along with incredible service.

Live this place. We've been going for close to 30 years and it never fails to impress. It is now one of our kids favorites as well.

Old school family run Italian restaurant. Their menu is huge and a little overwhelming but the staff is very helpful and will gladly help you make your decisions. Solid pasta dishes and they also offer some Canadian entree staples like burgers and chicken dishes. Great place for families and groups.

I ordered manicotti dish with a rose sauce. When it came it obviously was a red sauce. I asked and was told the pasta contained a white sauce so when mixed it was rose. Not so in my mind. I am a big pasta fan but not a fan of their style of cooking. Perhaps it is just me.

Pasta sauces are made to order. Food is delicious, I had it on two occasions, my only complaint is that the sauces (I've tried marinara, meat and cheese) were too rich for my taste. I enjoyed half my food before feeling too overwhelmed to finish the rest.

The service was great. I personally didn't like how over powering the onion was in all the sauces we got. But I know next time to ask for without.

My Family and I ordered the pizza special and waited over 2 hours for delivery. When delievry finally showed up I declined the service. I hope next time the Food makes up for this experience.

The food is ALWAYS top notch! When I went, they were clearly short staffed. They were all running, and you could see that they were at their limits, but they were still happy, helpful, and excellent.

Don't let the creepy little alley outside or the dated decor scare you off, this place is a gem. Amazing variety and some of the best pasta in Regina. Good prices, a decent Sunday brunch, and an amazing Caesar salad. I've gone many times (and even ordered delivery) and never had a bad meal here.
