Mabel Hill Farm Kitchen & Marketplace

Very nice place with very good food and good service. Not the cheapest place to fill your belly, but a nice experience.

When my Husband suggested we come up to Mabel Hill for our 20th Anniversary, I felt both excitement and trepidation. I love to cook, and I love good food, but over the years we've been to so many restaurants that had great reviews, only to walk away disappointed by food that I could have made at home without the added expense. I even tried to talk him out of going the night before. I'm so glad he held to his wish to take me "somewhere special".

Over nearly three hours we enjoyed course after course (after course.) of the most delectable food I have ever tasted in my life. (The Confit Duck was life-changing.but there wasn't a plate that wasn't a wonderfully balanced, perfectly seasoned journey of flavour.and the desserts were absolutely decadent.)

The entire evening was a beautiful, relaxed, and memorable experience, and we will certainly be back. (We were so immersed in the moment that we even forgot to take pictures of the sumptuous plates. Maybe next time!)

Fantastic and fresh food with interesting diversity. Some of the most delicious tomatoes I have ever had.

Service was attentive and fast, without seeming overbearing.

Wonderful place. Could watch the chef cook for hours. A true artist. Wonderful food. We go every year in Sept from Humboldt.

We had a family gathering planned and put down a $300 deposit for the reservation. Family from out of town could not make it due to illness so we gave 24 hours notice to cancel the reservation. Mabel Hill Farm would not return our deposit. We find this policy and lack of customer service very disappointing.

Our first time dining at mable hill, what a great experience! The staff was great the harvest hoedown supper was a treat to our taste buds. The entertainment was lovely and the boozy coffee went wonderfully with the ginger cookies stuffed with lemon icing.

It was surprising to find a restaurant of this quality in Northeastern Saskatchewan. The dishes rival those in fine restaurants in big cities. I hope they can find more staff so that the dishes can be brought to clients in due order - we waited a long time for our desserts; finally the waitress dished it herself.

My husband and I just had lunch at Mabell Hill and had the most wonderful lunch. My husband had a brisket burger with seafood chowder and I had salmon on a chibatta bread and both were filling and absolutely Awesome. We would recomend coming here and we will be back. Beautiful place.

If you're in the area and have a taste for great cuisine, then you have to try Mabel Hill. This is the best food around. A lot of the menu is locally sourced, some right from their own massive garden right beside the restaurant. Portions of the menu change seasonally so you get the best ingredients that are in season. Price wise it's a little higher than other local restaurants, but for comparable quality restaurants only found in cities, it's very very reasonable.

A group of 10 of us travelled from Regina to Nipawin for a weekend getaway & were absolutely delighted with our dining experience at this beautiful restaurant. First, Michael & one of his staff picked us up from our hotel and delivered us back afterwards - allowed us to enjoy some of his custom cocktails & lovely wine. Due to COVID restrictions, we divided into 2 groups of 5. Both groups ordered the "Family Style Meal" which I would highly recommend. We had the small meal, which was plenty of food & variety. The waitress asked us what we liked/didn't like or if there were any allergies. Then Michael put together a beautiful meal that allowed us to sample 3 appetizers, we had Pork Belly Ragout followed by a truly spectaculor Prime Rib meal! We then sampled 3 desserts. WHAT a dining experience & I would highly recommend for anyone travelling in the area.

Every time we are in the area we make sure to stop for a meal. Today was a lunch with salmon on toast with a creamy dill sauce. It was even better than it sounded. We love the atmosphere and the views. We recommend to everyone we can! Great work up there. We can’t wait for the new building to open.

Great place we loved the ambiance, the food was remarkable so delicious well prepared. Wait staff were greasus and fun.

I have read about this place a year ago and was on my list of restaurants to eat at. It didn't disappoint.
We tried the chefs choice menu and every dish was fabulous. We were in a food coma by the time it was done.
Great selection of wines and cocktails.
The farm to fork is truly utilized in every dish.
Tara our server was fabulous. She was very knowledgeable in every dish she served us. She chatted us first to see what our expectations were for the evening and did a great job served at a pace that was perfect for us.

Defined recommend! It is SO cozy and comfortable, and the serving sizes are huge! Food was AMAZING, staff were also just so kind and nice! Such a comfortable atmosphere.
