Winter Bazzart was wonderful. A bit crowded, but a lovely variety of artisans. And as an added bonus, I got to view the art galleries. I loved the tapestries and Renaissance paintings. I would love to go back to see these.

We weren’t charged for the entry, could be because we registered with them for first time. Else according to the display there it costs 12 cad per adult and it’s different for members. Check online and go.

Warning: if you aren’t an art enthusiast then it’s not a place for you.

Housed in a beautiful building, it has spacious exhibition halls and is equipped with modern technology and mini theatre, apart from a number of art attractions, including those related to First Nation or Metis or Inuit of Canada. Staff is quite helpful. Wish reduction in fee for walk-in visitors.

No Favouritism. Just LOVE. I remember the first mechanical T-Rex when Students would attend "Field Trips" to Museums.

Good souvenirs at the entrance.
Entrance to the gallery 12 money.
But IMHO, forgive me art lovers, it's not worth it.

I appreciated the regional focus on Regina/Saskatchewan-born artists, there were many pieces I liked. Admission was very affordable ($6 on promo) and there was complimentary coffee.

Kids had so much fun playing in the art room out the back downstairs. Would never pay to go up to the art gallery again tho. They had reduced the price a bit but had also failed to mention that 95% of it was closed/ under construction! Basically paid the $6 just for my son to use the lift up to it a few times!

I went on the free admission night and stayed for about 45 minutes. It is not very clear that there aren’t exhibits on the main floor. We went towards the cafe part instead. It seems as though about half of the exhibit areas are closed off currently. Staff were friendly and for free it was worth it. I don’t think I’d pay the $12 admission though.

I recently visited The MacKenzie gallery in Regina and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The gallery showcases contemporary artwork from some of the best artists on the Prairies, and I always make sure to make time for this gallery whenever I am in Regina. The exhibitions are thoughtfully curated and provide a great opportunity to see meaningful, thought-provoking pieces. Additionally, the gift shop offers unique and beautiful pieces from talented potters, making it a great place to pick up a souvenir or a special gift. Overall, I highly recommend The MacKenzie for anyone looking for a quality art experience in Regina.
