Went in to get washer fluid. An employee was loading the stock onto a pallet. I asked if I could get one. I was told all of them had just been sold to the man and woman standing there. When I said there should have been a limit they said the manager approved the sale. Looks like the individual customer doesn’t matter when someone who plans to resell them shows up.

Some of the cashier ladies are always grumpy or rude, I'm gonna start shopping at save on foods on Brighton now.

2 tills open, both lined up. Cashier on till 2 keeps yawning widely without covering his mouth. Disgusted.

I really felt like a VIP shopping here all thanks to the blonde cashier working there. Not only did she make sure I knew about the promotion on tomatoes and saved me 50 cents, she went out of her way to scan my PC points card for me as I was recovering from a severe burn injury on my hand and could not get it out of my wallet. Even better, I saved a whole extra dollar with my PC points! Thank you Independent for making my day.

Was in the store yesterday and the corn was staring to get bad, some apples were rotten, watermelons also. In general what was not starting to Rot was poor quality for sure 2nd class produce.next time I will take pics.will next time for sure: . There is a lot of competition close by and the store should pay more attention to the quality of what they sale …

I've NEVER had a cashier scream at me ever. Wow. Big mistake giving this place another chance. It was shocking to be yelled at. Sorry I gave the cashier the wrong bag of salad to scan. But wow, why so angry over a bag of salad?

Good community PC branded grocery store, pharmacy and, for the season, a gardening center.

Love shopping at this store. There is always a great selection of fresh produce and bakery items. And the staff are always friendly. It's also very clean, well organized and stocked. I always find what I am looking for.

One of the cleanest and most friendly places to get groceries. I’ve been going there for years and all the employees are so kind and pleasant. Melvina is down to earth and will always go out of her way to help.

A massive variety of grocery items available at the store. The only downside is the unavailability of international food items.

It's alright. Better selection at other Independent Grocers but it's usually got what I need. Staff is ok. Not the friendliest but the people aren't rude either. It's a pretty good store.

I really want to like this store. It’s close to home and the produce is actually one of the best in the city BUT the attitude of the staff is dismal. Most of the staff seem miserable with their jobs and it’s hard to get someone to help you at the deli or to bag groceries. It seems the owner (s) and/or management have lost their passion for this business - and the staff have followed suit. There are many grocery store choices and it’s getting harder to find a reason to stop at this one.

Best grocery store in university area. Great deals for students especially in Tuesday I really recommend shopping here.

A family favourite on the East side. This is grocery store is clean and the staff are always looking to help. The produce section is always in top order. Great store.

I’ve been shopping in this store for the last few years and I’ve got to say, since the new owner took over it has been AMAZING! Clean, organized, and a wonderful layout! Fresh produce, bakery and meat products! They are never out of their weekly specials!
And last but definitely not least…the customer service in this store great! All staff is very attentive. This shows great leadership from the new owner!
