Manitou Springs Resort and Mineral Spa

It rooms were quiet and clean. The hotel staff were very accommodating and polite. The restaurant was super. The food was very good and the servers were funny and made our outing light and enjoyable. Everyone enjoyed their stay.

A must visit destination, family friendly and the springs are but one of the local highlights.

This place was really nice however it seemed like each room had its own problems that we stayed in. The double Queen had a leaking toilet and the executive king room was really loud from the fridge. Also we got locked out of room cause our other room was ready so we had to explain to the people to let us in the old room and they almost didn't. The pool was amazing it was interesting to float around. And I loved the gift shop. I also love that you get the complementary towels and the $10 off for the gift shop that was nice. I would stay here again though.

I went here for a wedding in 2013 and knew I had to come back someday. So happy to have shown it to my husband. Will definitely come again. It’s worth the drive from Manitoba!

We were at the indoor pool and it was quite the fantastic experience. Just float and relax, very cool experience. We loved it.

This is my very favourite place to go for an overnight trip to get out of the city and overall it was a good experience. However, they are in desparate need of more staff or maybe problems at the top trickling down. It is obvious morale is down in every department as we didn't get a single smile or greeting during our whole stay. Not even in the gift shop that had no other customers at the time. Was a weird feeling as customer service is usually excellent in all areas. The restaurant manager almost ran into us as he stormed off scowling and didn't apologize which was unprofessional regardless if he was having a bad day. The food at Water Edge was so bad. I'm not fussy but it was nearly inedible. The steak was so tough that I actually struggled to chew it. Because we had already waited 1.5 hours or more for room service (were told 45-60) I was too hungry and tired to bring it back down or it might have been one of the few times in my life I would have because it really was that bad. The room was great though. Very clean and super comfy beds with lots of pillows. Slept great and of course enjoyed the pool. So relaxing! I really hope staffing issues are fixed before I return because I felt bad for staff to be looking so unhappy.

Amazing experience, the room and bathroom were very clean. The mineral spa was very relaxing and rejuvenating. The workout room was small but did the job.

It's a nice location. Everything looks well maintained or new-ish. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We were only there to pass through and book a massage for later.

First time going here and i loved it!
But the food in the restaurant needs some work. Paid well over $60 for 1 pizza and ribs that really wasnt worth getting. Tasted like rubber. But other then that everything else was amazing and fun

We attended the pool and the ladies working at the front were amazing. Very friendly and professional. Was a fun time!

Very nice experience. Food is amazing. We ordered Loaded omelette, eggs Benedict, skillet, pancakes - all were very good. Then we went to the hot spring pool - which was a wonderful experience, easy on pocket, remember to carry your swimming goggles as the water is very salty. True dead Sea experience even in the 9 feet people.

Always a thrill for the family to stay overnight and have a good splash!

Rooms are clean and cozy

For the price we were very disappointed.

We arrived early so our room was not ready however that was not unexpected however the resort does not have a luggage lock up which was unexpected. We had to bring our luggage with us while we waited for access to our room. Somewhat inconvenient

The room was nothing special however we overlooked the lake which was nice. The couch was not actually made to sit on, well at least not in several decades and the A/C managed to get down to cooling 75 degrees. We actually found it much more comfortable in the hallway from a temperature perspective.

We decided to have supper at the resort. An extensive menu however the food was subpar at best. The food was lacking in flavor and cold - quite a disappointment.

Staff were very nice though and the resort pools were spacious and much nicer than the lake itself.

Overall not what we would have expected from a resort with such a long history of service.

Awful experience, room was dirty, elevator was down. We were on the 4th floor with 2 kids under the age of 3, imagine how many trips it took to get everything up. Pizza at the waters edge restaurant was awful, one of the worst I've had in a long time that was 12" for $27. Calamari was good but $14 you got maybe and handful at best definitely not worth it!

Elevator was out of order and the 4th floor rooms were a little too warm with no way to remedy the issue, but otherwise the service and accomodations were perfect.

Nice big pool but a bit pricey for rooms. Was also surprised to see my room a bit dirty when arriving. Staff was super friendly!

Loved the mineral pool. Had a meal at the restaurant.the staff was amazing and food was delicious! The outside of the hotel could use some work though. Alot of weeds and just not very well kept. Was quite suprising really.

The restaurant is amazing I had the Chicken Satay it was so good. The quality of the food is so good. Would definitely recommend

Great get away. Wish I could have been in this spa circa early 90s and wish I could have been at danceland circa 60s. This town seems like a bygone era. Sadly the entire sea side shanty is threatened by rising waters. See it before it returns to where it came. Also make sure to listen to the Garrys song about this place.

Hotel room and pool area very clean restaurant food awesome. We had a great stay can not wait to return for another get away.

It is a bit of an older place but it is very nice. The rooms have a tv, fridge etc. They have a cafe and a restaurant and a gift shop. The pools are nice and clean and nice to swim in. The only thing I didn't like about is was the long walk from the rooms to the pools and back. (Especially when your swim suit is wet)
