Food was great, service was great, but hard to find if you aren't familiar with the UofS

It was clean and nice, but it got cramped with all the guests, and we had to wait veeeery long for everything.

I ate all my meals here for four years during my undergrad studies here. At the time, Marquis was a good deal since it is a reasonably price buffet. The food was never great. Everything tasted pretty bland and the ingredients are not of the finest quality. The worst thing is they don't really do a good job cleaning the plates and cutleries. It is not uncommon to pick up a plate and see something sticking on it, or the fork has rice grains from the last meal. I don't think any of my friends who lived on campus had good memories of this place. Now, the price has gone up so much that a lunch cost almost 20 dollars. I mean the management probably doesn't understand that students are not the wealthiest people and they are charging too much for mediocre food where you can have a decent meal at DQ for $15. In fact any place at lower Place Riel is now cheaper and tastes much better. I find it very hard to justify going to Marquis since I don't live on campus resident now.
