McNally Robinson

My favourite Canadian bookstore. I always make it a point to visit it when I am in Saskatoon. They have a great selection of titles. Things not usually found at other stores.

Very clean and decorated well. The staff is always friendly and helpfull. Ample parking is available.

Prepare to potentially be overwhelmed! So much carefully arranged so that it just fits. F͏oo͏d͏ selection, service, ambience, at the restaurant, all excellent.
Can’t wait to take someone from Vancouver Island who visits Saskatoon every few years.
Just didn’t quite make it on the last visit.

Ps. Forgot to mention the tucked away periodical section! May be the largest selection of magazines in the city.

Always a great experience. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a vast array of titles to browse. We finished off a lovely evening with a treat at Prairie Ink. They've added lots of seasonal items to explore.

We went in looking for books on a specific topic. We had just left another book store where the staff simply weren't very helpful.
We looked around for a bit, then went to ask for some help.
We met Shae who was more than willing to help.
Shae was wonderful. We weren't quite sure of any authors or titles other than the help of Google. Shae jumped right in to try and help us find something that would work for us. Asking us just the right questions. We ended up ordering a book in, which Shae was more than happy to help us with.
When we picked up the book Shae was at the till, just as friendly.
They are more than lucky to have Shae as an employee. I hope they realize because of that service we will return again for the next book purchase.
Exceptional customer service.

I haven’t been able to be back at McNally’s in almost six years, but the second I walked in I remembered why it remains the memory of my favourite bookstore. Walking in almost feels like walking in to a bookstore pulled from a movie set, something so cozy and inviting and perfect about it. They have an amazing collection of books you may never hear of because their collection includes lots of amazing local authors, and my favourite and most vast non-fiction collection. You can probably find every topic you’re even remotely interested in. Super friendly and helpful staff, and though I’m not able to get to Saskatoon very often, it’s one of my must-stops.

I always get a warm sense of nostalgia every time I walk especially since it's been a couple years since. Such a great selection of books and the store is huge and well layed out. I love how everything is sorted and there are different shelves highlighting staff pics, and seasonal things such as pride month. In addition to all the books of all sorts including large selections of manga and graphic novels, there's tons of other cute novelties and the Prairie Ink restaurant inside too! Just overall a phenomenal local bookstore:)

I hadn't been here in years. It's got such a wide selection of books of all kinds but I especially appreciate their local and regional books from Saskatchewan. It's good to get back.

My new go to place for books. I've always gone to Indigo but decided I'd like to support a small/local business. Lovely atmosphere. Great selection. (I'm not going back to Indigo hehe!) McNally Robinson's where it's at!

Didn't have what I was looking for. Unfortunately it's out of print. However, the man who was trying to help me, found that it is available as an ebook. Wonderful gentleman

I never give 5 as nothing is ever perfect but this is close. My fav bookstore in Stoon, tons of books, stationary items, very helpful staff. If they don't have it in stock, they order for you.

I always love the dessert and coffee Today I had a toffee latte and cinnamon bun. My mom had a date square. It was delicious.

This place consistently has absolutely delicious comfort foods and desserts! Vibe is super chill and the service is top knotch! Especially our regular server Lauren! One of the best places hands down.

Dope restaurant cafe inside this book store. Also very homey with lots of selection. It's like the premium version of Indigo/Starbucks.

This is Saskatoon's "Go-To" bookstore. It has a great atmosphere, a really good restaurant, and a friendly, helpful staff. It's a dangerous place for me to go; I stay too long and buy more books than I should.

It was our first time at this bookstore. They have a good amount of variety, especially for children. We picked up a few books for the family. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. The prices are a tad higher with not a lot of sales or deals but I don't believe it is a franchise like other book stores so I get the prices. We would return especially if we are looking for reading material for the kids.

You will wait for a table for 15 mins but it is worth it every time. Coffee was brewed nicely and the dessert was delightful.

Great service! Amazing facilities, good collection of books, professional staff, five stars! Today I visited their restaurant, excellent service! They have cakes, cheesecakes, variety of wine and beverages. Mondays are quite perfect to gossip with friends lol and live music in weekends

Really great food, plus they had a live singer, who could actually sing well. Awesome! The service was great too

A really great bookstore that still encourages browsing and relaxing. Still the best groomed SF/fantasy sections around. Don't miss the extensive area upstairs for YA and children's books.

This book store is the best. Crew can find anything you need, usually end up spending more time and cash there than planned but never regret it.

I had a book signing at McNally Robinson, and it was a really good experience. The staff were friendly and even had the table set up for me before I got there. The store was busy at all times, and I sold a few books to some excited fantasy fans! I'll be back when I launch my next book!

A great bookstore and restaurant. Fantastic place to gift shop. Then head into the restaurant and have some lunch or enjoy a coffee and a muffin or one of the amazing desserts which are made on ther premises.

Staff are super friendly, beautiful bookstore and the food is great it just takes two or three times to get it right. Every time my food is cold, something’s missinng or best case scenario just takes 45 minutes. They really need management to step up with watching what the cooks send out.

I just had the wonderful experience of walking in with a list of 5 items. And I found them within moments. The one item I couldn't find was quickly found by the helpful attendant. Great store, with a huge variety of options.

Outstanding book store. They bring in authors and artists and make shopping for books a very engaged and relaxing experience.

If you've ever read any of my previous reviews, you'll know that I have a thing for local and/or cozy stores. This fits into both categories. It's a great place to leisurely browse and find a great read. On the other side, it also has some unique gift finds for any of your eclectic friend, or a family member who finds value in all gifts that are locally made.

This place is so great! I walked around here for 30 mins and I was just going to go for coffee. There is lots of corners of unique themed table gifts such as cheese platter, cheese knives, and crackers on one and locally crafted pottery, bowls, plates, etc on another. There was a live presentation going on with a full audience and there was a book signing a different time. Cute clothes but all items in store are somewhat expensive. I went for cake and I would definitely recommend this place for a piece of cake (shmoo torte and carrot cake) to share and a coffee. Huge and fun place to be and I will be there again.

Good variety of things (way more than just a book store) but not as price competitive as I thought it might be

My favourite book store! I visit every time that I'm in Saskatoon. I love the selection, the feel of the shop and the service is awesome.

On saturday evenings there a beauty of live music, paired with a continous ambience of stored knowledge.who wouldn't want to be immersed in the environment like this one.
