Meewasin Park

A very nice park with lots of trails, a very nice place to go for walks, jogging and biking. Lots of events in the city also take place here and there's also lots of activities to do in this park.

Great park, plenty of space to walk.
Cyclists tend to forget that pedestrians have right of way in the park. I nearly got knocked over by one today, As the cyclist was going to fast when passing pedestrians.

I love big wild parks in cities! Meewasin Park is one of my favourites in Saskatoon. Love that I can bus to within two blocks of the southern end of it.

Excellent views of South Saskatchewan River. Absolutely the place to be in summers, or for views even winter time is excellent!

Great space for picnics! Year round washrooms and a great beach area. Kids play area and large grassy spaces with sheltered picnic areas.

Beautiful park! We used this space for our maternity photos & it couldn’t of been more perfect.

It would be beautiful. It is really beautiful. Unless you're disabled. In which case they built stairs that are not wheelchair accessible. When they were asked about it they said that they didn't want to disrupt more vegetation. So only able-bodied humans can enjoy all of this park. The stairs are new! Built in 2021! Absurd! How can you build something with such bias in the 21st century? Why does the city have a law saying all things must be accessible but not the MVA?

I love the park, unfortunately between drug deals and hearing about the city having needle clean up in the mornings has stopped us from going. We used to enjoy going there in the mornings before it got busy on our morning walks, but since hearing they do needle sweep has left me not wanting to go there the last two years

Park is small. But kids seemed to enjoy it. Bathroom close by. Its also clean. No worry of anything gross

It's great that there's washrooms right next to this playground great spot for picnics

Patrons could be ALOT better at "sharing" the trail.

Very good place for small get to gather. It's just a reminder that you might find the parking spots are full in the weekends. But you can park outside of the park. We enjoyed the trail by the river.

The Meewasin includes almost all of the area along the S. SK thru Saskatoon. However this park is just a portion of it in the N end of the city. Great place with a few picnic tables and a playground tucked into the trees. There is even a building with public bathrooms which is a great warmup spot in winter.

Well kept park - great communal fire places and picnic tables. Hours of walking paths some leading right to the river.

Lots of above ground fire pits and washrooms. Was a great place for a thanksgiving giving meal. We used our fire ring for the ladies and the men used the wood pit.

Parking is alright. The park playground is very simple. There is a public washroom if needed. There is a trail.

Loved it great place for walking the dog, with the wife being disable the trail made it easy and enjoyable

A beautiful spot for a walk along the river in Saskatoon. The facilities were closed the day we went at the end of June, 2021. However, it was a great spot to get out and take a break in our travels.

Nice park, it has a lot of trails and beautiful scenery places, the only thing I wish I could buy some drinks/snacks along the trails. Good for biking and strolling, but if you do so make sure you bring your glasses with you since there is a lot of bugs in the evening. Also, sometimes you get to see some animals such as rabbits, foxes, squirrels etc.

There is a couple different sections to this park. I t isa grate park for walking running and cycling and also has some amazing views over looking the River to wards downtown. It also has a look out are at the top of the hill with some benches where you can just sit and enjoy the beauty. Also great for photos. In winter there is a cross country ski trail.

Beautiful place to enjoy a nice walk or open space to spend time with friends and family. Right beside the river with enough field space to enjoy games as well. Free parking along the side of the street or in the designated parking lot
